China: Air Travelers Banned As Social Credit Score Takes Off

Millions of Chinese citizens were banned from buying airline tickets last year as the communist regime launches its draconian “social credit score.”
Before you get cozy, thanking god that you don’t live under communist China rule…
That couldn’t possibly happen in the land of the free, could it? Actually, it’s already happening.
We don’t have a few all-powerful monoliths like the federal government (or Alibaba) recording everything we do, but most Americans don’t realize how much of their everyday life is being tracked and analyzed.
Right now, data collection companies’ main goal is selling you things. But it isn’t hard to envision how a few changes in the market could produce something like our Chinese friends’ Big Brother experience.
And if you think the NSA hasn’t already been applying a social score to everyone who engages in any digital activity anywhere on the planet, then I have a homophobic racist hate crime in Chicago I want to tell you about.
GO READ THE WHOLE THING.

My workplace rolled out a soft version of a social credit score under the banner of receiving gift certificates. Someone pays you a compliment? Receive points. Redeem the points. Problematic is that we are only allowed $15 in gift cards every six months. The rest of the points, fall off or are not awarded. False flag. And it creates a caste system.

So lemme get this straight: Stepford wives all of us. Keep our traps shut. Don't complain. Don't rock the boat. And do, please do, collect your lousy fifteen dollars.

Unfortunately, every workplace does need the perceptive complainer who gives voice to the grievances of the timid. That would be moi. I have my lousy redeemable points. But I find it insulting and will not access the programming system. It is a snip the nuts endeavor.

The Mean Girls are taking over.

Men don't do this shit. We beat each other up and then it's over with.
