Green candidate forced to resign after criticizing mosque leader 

This story accidentally shows something more important than it intended to show. We have a candidate for a far left party, The Green Party, who foolishly believed the veneer level policies and beliefs of the party without any real understanding of what leftism in fact is. 

He appears to think that it is about fair and equal rights for women etc. and therefore wanted to know why a local imam would not speak out against the immolation of a woman by another local muslim. 

After all, it would be a good opportunity for distancing this act of sharia law from Islam which is the old normal. Instead, the Green Party asked the candidate to resign his candidacy for daring to ask the Imam to do the usual denial.
