Trump Is Allowing These People To Run Our Country Off a Cliff

You gotta wonder if he's in on it.

Doubt it. He is taking a huge hit right now with his clubs and hotels being closed.

You think this is the prudent thing to do, then?

I favor more targeted measures aimed at the vulnerable populations. The rest of us need to get back to work. I know a lot of good folks who are hurting.

I am with you.

Why do you think he is making such a terrible mistake?

I think he has a different perspective than we do. He is willing to take a personal financial hit to save more lives. I think you and I prioritize families and the fact that we need employment to provide for them. Neither perspective is wrong in my opinion, but probably our views are formed from having gone through personal hardship in a bad economy not too terribly long ago.

I don't think that DJT is "in on it." I think that there really is the deadly Coronavirus is stalking the land. If I am correct, the economy is tanked anyway.

Time will tell what the truth is.

You are correct about that. Time will tell.

But no matter what time tells us, the media will tell us we needed to destroy the economy. Right?

The economy is not "already tanked." I'm pretty sure we can make it a lot worse from here.

Sandbag.

What do you mean, "Sandbag"?

Rope a dope.

Yes, I have thought of that possibility. But I don't know how he's going to pull us out of this financial disaster.

People and companies will not be paying their mortgages for the next few months. People will not pay their rent. People will not pay their credit cards.

And all of that will roll through the economy like a gigantic wrecking ball.

ya gotta let it fall to build it again. Bigger, better, faster, and taller. what you have aint gonna make a foundation, which has been compromised, primarily underimined by …. non belivers...in the faith of Jesus Christ. they pretend they are good...they pretend they are compassionate, they pretend to help.....

Pretenders are all around me, pretending to give a damn, the hourglass is emptying as it all runs out of sand....

Pasto,
And all of that will roll through the economy like a gigantic wrecking ball.

My tenants in my other house haven't been paying for well over a year. Cancer, Stage 4. I cannot evict a cousin who's in the fight of his life. Evicting a tenant in such a situation violates my Christian faith.

Hey! What's going to happen when people cannot pay their local real estate taxes? What dominoes fall then? Schools, fire department, police department, etc.

Of course, at the moment ALL government employees -- local, state, and federal -- are collecting their paychecks. So are those of us drawing our Social Security. So far, anyway.

I look at this and I don't see a plan. I don't even see a way out. It is utter insanity, from my perspective.

I don't know how long we can sustain this.
