COVID-19 Turning Out To Be Huge Hoax Perpetrated By Media

COVID-19 Turning Out To Be Huge Hoax Perpetrated By Media

When the postmortem is done on the media’s coverage of COVID-19 (and it will be), it will be clear that the virus was no Black Plague — it’s not even the flu on a bad year. SARS-CoV-2, which causes COVID-19, has killed 56,749 Americans as of Tuesday. Advertisement - story continues below
That’s not good. But it’s not as bad as the 2017-2018 flu season, when 80,000 -plus perished.
And it’s a long cry from what all the experts were warning about just a few weeks ago:
First, they predicted 1.7 million Americans dead; then they redid the models (this time apparently entering a few more “facts”) and said 100,000-240,000 dead.
Now, a major model relied on by the White House Coronavirus Task Force predicts about 70,000 dead by the end of August.
And for that we shut down the U.S. economy?!
GO READ THE WHOLE THING.

"When the postmortem is done on the media’s coverage of COVID-19..."

But the media and the Democrats will be doing the postmortem so what the fuck difference will it make?

If there has been any lesson here, it is how many little tyrants we have in government. In fact, it has been Springtime For Little Hitlers.

After this passes, we must have a serious deliberation about what powers we must allow officials at all levels to have in an emergency. In some jurisdictions the pandemic emergency has now become an emergency of a more severe threat, both economic, social and of civil rights. We must never allow officials to have open-ended powers any more. We must have powers that are subject to legislative review on a ticking clock- that these power automatically expire unless affirmed periodically by a sufficient officials in a different branch of government.

Fiat money and allowing our Federal Reserve to create money out of thin air has created a grave moral hazard- too many officials think wealth grows on trees and therefore the private sector can be shut down and shut up without consequence and then restarted by dropping money from the sky. Printing money to give away is embezzlement of private wealth by dilution similar to when the barkeep waters down the liquor.
