Thank GOD Article IV, Section 4, of the U.S. Constitution states that the United States shall:
"Section. 4.
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government . . "
That would preclude a communist one.
Plus, we still have the Communist Control Act of 1954 as still good-law on the books. We just need to impose the death penalty for violations of it (because communism certainly does, amirite? That was rhetorical).
