Senior Iran Cleric Tells Sudan That Nuclear Aid Is Available

TEHRAN, April 25 — Iran's supreme leader said Tuesday at a meeting here with the Sudanese president that Iran was ready to share its nuclear technology with other countries."Iran's nuclear capability is one example of various scientific capabilities in the country," the leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, said to President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan, the news agency IRNA reported. "The Islamic Republic of Iran is prepared to transfer the experience, knowledge and technology of its scientists."

Mr. Khamenei made his comments just days before the Friday deadline set by the United Nations Security Council for Iran to suspend its uranium enrichment.

Can anyone else hear the laughter?

America is powerless.
Europe, powerless
Russia and China managed and bought.
The jews cannot act.

Protesting - Syrian Style

I received the following in an email from a friend. Now, let's be honest, this may very well just be a photoshop joke. Or, it could be real. But, either way, it's funny as hell.

This picture is not doctored. Most Syrians struggle to even read Arabic, much less have a clue about English.

So, how do a group of Syrian protest leaders create the most impact with their signs by having the standard "Death To Americans"(etc.) slogans printed in English?

Answer: They simply hire an English-speaking civilian to translate and write their statements into English. Unfortunately, in this case, they were unaware that the "civilian" insurance company employee hired for the job was a retired US Army sergeant!

Obviously, pictures of this protest rally never made their way through the Arab TV networks, but the results were "Priceless"!

Bus fare to anti-U.S. Rally - $0.50
Paint and canvas protest signs - $32.00
Asking a retired U.S. Sergeant to translate your anti American Slogans - PRICELESS

Just Who's Side Are They On?

The above picture is an extract from Channel 4's list of 100 greatest world cup moments, as chosen for by visitors to the C4 website. The number I have put in negative refers to the Iran vs USA match, back in 1998.

If you think that's bad, check out the what the nomination said :

That's right. Channel 4's official website refers to Britains greatest ally as "THE GREAT SATAN"! What a disgrace!

AADC meets deserved defeat

I don't hear much about the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee these days, maybe because CAIR's been taking up so much space in the news, but now, here's some good news on the immigration scene in which we learn that AADC, which is just as slimy as CAIR, has been defeated in an attempt to dictate immigration requirements to their favor. Note though that there is a bit of whining in this AP article:
DETROIT — With an Arab-American rights group threatening mass court filings, a U.S. immigration spokesman said Tuesday that the government would change its naturalization procedures to stave off such legal challenges.

Lawyers say it's not uncommon for cases to be delayed for years, particularly for people from the Middle East, even though immigration officials are supposed to rule on naturalization petitions within 120 days after interviews.

To call attention to the problem, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee was coordinating an effort by 40 attorneys to file federal court petitions on behalf of dozens of immigrants starting Tuesday.

Chris Bentley, a spokesman for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, a division of the Department of Homeland Security, said Tuesday that "to avoid burdening the federal court with these cases," the agency would no longer schedule citizenship interviews until after background checks are complete.

The American-Arab committee said it was disappointed with the procedural change, which would not eliminate delays, but make it impossible for immigrants to fight them.

Bentley said only about 1 percent of naturalization petitions are not ruled on within 120 days. About 450,000 people are naturalized yearly, he said.

Immigration lawyer Ramsey Malkawi said he has about 14 clients facing long delays in their naturalization applications, including some who have waited five or six years.

"This is completely unacceptable," he said. "It's clearly a racial profiling issue."

Dr. Mohammad Attar, an Iraqi immigrant who has lived in the United States since 1991, petitioned for citizenship in November 2004. Six months later, he had an interview with immigration officials — then he waited. He was eventually cleared, but it wasn't until nearly a year after his interview. He was sworn in as a citizen April 14.

"My feeling about it is, it's OK, they can check, but it took too long," said Attar, a neonatologist on the faculty at the University of Michigan. "If they were concerned about something, they could have called, and I could have clarified something."
I knew they'd whine about racial profiling! But really, it's not racial, it's ETHNIC PROFILING that's being done here, to make sure that the Muslim immigrants coming in aren't extremists. Those Islamists who can't come to terms with that need not apply.

Wanted : Have You Seen These 3 "Youths"?

Three men filmed by police taking part in Muhammad cartoon protests.

Hey, what are you complaining about? It only took roughly 3 months to make any calls for arrests over the 3rd of Feb terror rally held by Muslim fanatics in London. It wasn't like the police had any video footage available to them, through the public domain or otherwise.

Say what? A video was released through the NEFA Foundation shortly after the rally? Well, ok then, the police obviously did have footage available to them but what can they do now. I mean, obviously if this rally was that bad and people were breaking the law then arrests would have been made at the time, right?

What's the you say, people were breaking the law by calling for the extermination/beheading of non-Muslims and calling for the bombing of other countries, and repeats of the 7/7 suicide attacks.

Well, better late than never :

Scotland Yard was today forced to issue a public appeal for help in tracking down protesters it filmed during a demonstration against satirical cartoons of the prophet Muhammad.
You see, he's not just the Islamic prophet, he's THE prophet. :(

The Metropolitan police said they were still trying to trace three men who took part in the demonstration outside the Danish embassy on February 3.

During the protest, placards were paraded demanding the "massacre" of "those who insult Islam".

In the days following the demonstration, the police faced fierce criticism for not arresting demonstrators on the spot. They instead took video footage of the demonstration and said "arrests, if necessary, would be made at the appropriate time".

A Met spokesman said the men were "wanted in connection with serious public order offences which we believe may have been committed during the protest".
He defended the decision not make arrests at the time, saying officers policing the demonstration "had to weigh up" the effect their actions would have on the overall public order situation.

"We have already identified and charged a number of individuals in relation to the demonstration," he said.

At the time, police had said they did not want to inflame the situation.

A special squad, under the code name Operation Laverda, was set up by the Met's post-event investigation unit to review 60 hours of CCTV and footage and investigate 500 complaints from the public.

During the rally, some protesters held placards with slogans such as "Behead those who insult Islam" and "Europe will pay, the Fantastic 4 are on their way" - an apparent reference to the July 7 bombers who killed 52 people on London's transport network.

The only arrests made were those of two freedom of speech campaigners protesting in favour of the right to publish images of Muhammad.

The police's tactics sparked cross-party calls by MPs to pursue those responsible on the grounds that the threats were an incitement to murder.

Peter Hain, the Northern Ireland secretary, said the police should "bear down ... very heavily" on protesters acting in an "intolerable" way.

The shadow attorney general, Dominic Grieve, told GMTV it was "not a happy state of affairs" when demonstrators acting in such a way "don't end up under arrest before the demonstration is ended".

Six people have since been arrested in connection with the police investigation.

The London demonstration was one of a number of sometimes violent protests against the publication of images of the prophet - which is against Islamic tradition - in a number of European newspapers.

Detroit Free Press Shows Some Balls

Yesterday, we awarded the Golden Balls Award to MSU Professor Indryk Wichman, for a letter he sent to the Muslim Student Association protesting their protests against the Mohammed Cartoons. Although, Mr. Wichman seemed to lump all Muslims in with the Muslims who cause violence, I liked the letter.

Why? Isn't that unfair of me? Am I not aware that there are many Muslims who don't perpetrate violence against Infidels and Jews.

I sure as hell am. However, I am also aware that that are no major Muslim organizations protesting against terrorism. However, there are many like the Muslim Student Association who are protesting against the free speech expressed in cartoons.

What does that tell you?

Well, here's what it told the Detroit Free Press:

MSU professor Indrek Wichman has a beef with Muslims who think their religious sensibilities should trump the First Amendment rights of others.

In an intemperate e-mail response to a Muslim student group's pamphlet campaign against anti-Islamic cartoons, Wichman suggested that Muslim students upset about the depiction of Islam might more profitably protest suicide bombings and other atrocities undertaken in the name of Islam.

It's a legitimate point. But it would be a whole lot easier for me and other civil libertarians to defend if the tenured engineering professor who made it didn't sound like some boorish blowhard from Whatsamatta U.

"I am offended not by cartoons, but by more mundane things like beheadings of civilians," Wichman wrote in a poorly spelled e-mail that has precipitated demands for disciplinary action.

"I counsul you dissatisfied, agressive, brutal, and uncivilized slave-trading Moslems to be very aware of this as you proceed with your infantile 'protests,' " he added. "If you do not like the values of the West -- see the 1st Ammendment -- you are free to leave."

Before getting to the substance of Wichman's grievance, let's stipulate for the record that he could hardly have raised it more clumsily or in a manner less likely to provoke reasoned debate.
But let's be clear: the Muslim students to whom Wichman addressed his e-mail are victims of aggravated incivility, not religious persecution.

It's ignorant to disparage law-abiding Muslims as slave-trading brutes and outrageous to suggest that those who peacefully dissent from so-called Western values are obliged to live somewhere else. And it's certainly disheartening to learn that someone so inept at communicating has been entrusted with the transmission of technical knowledge. (Not surprising though. Techies are notoriously bad communicators. - Pastorius)

... Wichman should not be censured for defending cartoons that probe the troubling nexus between Islamic fundamentalism and anti-Western violence or for suggesting that devout Muslims have an obligation to explain scriptural references that seem to sanction violence against nonbelievers.

It's appropriate for members of an academic community to challenge one another's religious convictions in the same way they challenge one another's beliefs about politics, physics or literature.

The notion that religious beliefs should be exempt from rational scrutiny or criticism has no place in a free society, much less on a campus devoted to free inquiry.

Gee, even the editors at the liberal giveaway rags are getting fed up with the silence of the moderate Muslim community.

Here's an Infidel Koan for all of us to ponder on a Wednesday morning:

What is the sound of 1 billion moderate Muslims speaking out against violence?

I know this is the right thing to do, but wait…

I was reading the article NOW Do you believe it? on Always on Watch's fine blog and read very interesting comments on the post there. This is a post about a man named Zacharias Moussaoui, whom informed people already know about very well (uninformed people should follow the link above). The comments were very interesting and this post is in answer to some of those comments. I am being very general in this post, so I will not reproduce all or any of the comments here. I am jumping right into the discussion so it is better you read the comments over at Always on Watch first and then read here. Enjoy!

Should the US Government put Moussaoui to death, or should he get life imprisonment, or does he merit a more novel punishment like, say, working in a pig farm (good one!)? He would think he is a 'shaheed' (martyr) if he is killed and indeed this is what he has openly wished for. The Moslem world would certainly see him as a shaheed if he was executed by an infidel government.

But that's what they say and think when any Moslem dies fighting for Allah, killing innocent women and children. They blow themselves up on the streets, in the buses and the malls and then they're hailed as martyrs, heroes who died bravely fighting the Great Satan (USA) or Little Satan (Israel). What should we do then? Should we stop them from blowing themselves up? We try that but even that ends up with them dead. The way you guys are thinking about it, we lose no matter what.

What should we do then? Should we let this man live?

Infidel Mojo Weighs in on Political Fracturing

Our resident Anthropologist at What Would Charles Martel Do? (yes, we do have an Anthropologist on staff, and one furthermore who loves to rant in a sarcastic and venomous fashion) has decided to weigh in on the political fracturing that has been occuring throughout the West of late. And that fracturing is something that I believe we are all a part of, people who want something more out of our leaders and when not given decent options will follow the political Wild Cards out there. But enough about my thoughts, here are some from Mr. Infidel Mojo:

Do not get me wrong. I am no fan of Mr. LePen, the National Front, or other political movements disguising Fascism as something more palatable, but I certainly understand how they come to exist and develop a following.

In the US and throughout Europe people are essentially standing up to the condescension and paternalism exhibited by Liberals everywhere. After years of being ridiculed as rubes and bumpkins, they are learning to draw on the arguments liberals have championed, namely the right of “traditional” societies to exist and self-determination. And this includes taking back political power.

The first component, the rights of traditional societies to express themselves, has until recently been extended only to those populations that could be defined as exotic, downtrodden, or otherwise not part of the Western tradition. If they looked good on a postcard from your most recent eco-tourism vacation to the Amazon then they should be uplifted and praised. If they lived in your own back yard, such as rural populations in the Loire Valley or Montana, then this veneration could be rescinded. Indeed, these people could be portrayed and treated as savages. Ignored at best, ridiculed and attacked at worst. However, being human, and therefore a relatively intelligent species, these people grew wise to the double standards and poor logic of the Left.

In response, the Left has begun to develop new ways of dealing with their bumpkin brothers. They either run away and bury their heads in the sand (exemplified in the act of rich Californians buying houses out from under the noses of Oregonians), or resort to name calling. No sound arguments or reasoning, just childishness name calling when they don’t get their way. And the more traditional, “conservative” people have grown wise to this, hence further polarization.

SADR ON SOCCER

It appears that even soccer isn't safe from Jewish conspiracy theories. At least not according to al-Sadr.
Omar at Iraq the Model has translated a video of Sadr explaining why soccer is to be avoided.
Ole' Mookie sounds like he has taken one too many "hits" to the head.

Wondering what Muqtada thinks of soccer? Here's the answer in his own words. (Right click then 'save target as' to download, opens with real media player).
No, I wasn't smoking anything when I translated the video; this is how the "nationalist young cleric" normally speaks!

Transcript:

Actually my father-bless his soul-did not spare an effort in this regard but it wasn't only him who forbid these things so to speak but it's sharia in general that forbids these things that distract worshippers from their worshipping and distract people from remembering Allah.

Habibi the west made things for us that distract us from our integration, uh, what it put for us? Made us run after a ball habibi…that is like 'eat gargary'* habibi. What does it mean to see a man, big tall and wide and…Muslim, runs after a ball?
Habibi, you, er, the goal that is the, the 'GOAl' as they say, if you want to run after it, run after a high goal habibi, go you behind high goals that integrate you, not those that lower you. Run after a goal, put it in your mind; everyone draws a road for himself to take and to reach for the satisfaction of almighty Allah. This is one, the second thing and more important from that; we find that the west, and especially Israel…er, habibi the Jews, have you seen them play football? Ever seen them indulge in games like other indulge and the Arabs indulge?

They left us to waste time of football and other things while they left it…Ever heard the Israeli team, something be upon it, damn be upon it, reached for example or took the world-cup? Or even America habibi! Except for some other games…They let us waste time on it…singing, football, and and and smoking and stuff and satellites in forbidden things are used and so on; they left us to do forbidden things and they mostly turned to scientific things and thingy things.

Why habibi? Are they better than us? No, we are better than them.
This is possible, more than that, to another point, there are games favored by the religion, do them, I mean, must you run after a ball!? Why not go swimming? Swimming is encouraged, horse riding, fencing, so and so, these are games you can indulge yourself in; just like that distracts, these distract as well.Running! Run! Sport! Move your legs move your head move stuff, all organs move. Why everyone runs after a ball habibi?

These are mentalistic things that can be done, and those are non-mentalistic things that cannot be done….

And in the midst of a speech about 'hey in all fairness, why should the arabs suffer for the crimes of the Germans, and the jews should go back and be rich in Germany'....

Why should a small handful of people ignite the entire world, merely in order to fill their pockets? Why? We are against this method of running the world, and we say this clearly. I am declaring clearly that I am against the policies of the U.S. and England in running the world. And by the way, I support peace and quiet, and I am a very peace-loving man...

So by the reasoning of this galactic gavone's speech....if the arabs were complicit in the Holocaust, then Israel is free and clear of all claims, stooooooooooooooooopid or otherwise....hey wait minute I think I have, by George....

Newsflash: Muslims Condemn Terrorism

Hallelujah. Finally, Muslims en masse are coming out against terrorism. I had begun to lose hope, and think I would never ... Huh?

Oh wait, they're condemning it because it was mostly Muslims who ended up getting killed and maimed this time:

CAIRO, Egypt - The Arab world reacted in horror and outrage Tuesday at the bombings of an Egyptian resort — and a rift opened between hardline al-Qaida sympathizers and other radical Muslim groups who say the latest attacks have gone too far.

Three bombs ripped through a promenade in Egypt's Dahab resort at dusk Monday, killing at least 24 — most of them Egyptians on a holiday marking the first day of spring.

Ok, well, I guess it's business as usual.

Pali Children Yearn for Death

Head of Palestinian children's org: "We Teach Children Shahada"

In English, PA leaders have denied that they encourage their children to aspire to Shahada [death for Allah]. However in Arabic, the PA continues to express pride in educating children to aspire to Shahada, portraying it as a national achievement. The Director of the Palestinian Children's Aid Association candidly reiterated this PA educational policy, on PA TV.

The Futility of Interfaith Dialogue

Have you ever wondered about this thing called 'interfaith dialogue' - the dialogue so beloved by our weak politicians and clergy? Well, wonder no longer. Please let me elucidate...

For dialogue with an enemy - and make no mistake about it, Islam is the enemy of the liberal and democratic West - please read my earlier article here - to serve any purpose, there must be a possibility of finding some middle ground. A compromise must be found. If it is not possible to find a compromise, then engaging in dialogue becomes not only futile, but meaningless, too. Engaging in such a dialogue with Islam, a so-called 'interfaith dialogue', is precisely that: futile and meaningless.

You might well ask how I can say this with such certainty. Well, the answer is really quite simple to comprehend...

In Islam, we have a faith which is diametrically opposed to everything Christianity says is true. The tenets of both faiths couldn't be more different. Christians are taught that God had a Son, born of the Virgin Mary, who came down to earth and died for their sins, quasi to redeem them, to save them. Hence, Jesus Christ is their Lord and Saviour, their Redeemer. He died on the cross to save their souls. Further, to Christians, God is loving and forgiving, merciful and compassionate indeed.

Muslims are taught, by contrast, that God never begat a son; indeed, in Islam it is sacrilege to believe so. The whole concept of the Trinity, so essential to the belief system of a Christian, is considered to be shirk, or polytheism to any practising Muslim.

Furthermore, Jesus in Islam, although revered as a major prophet, is nothing more than this. He is not considered to be the Godhead. Muslims have an unshakeable belief that God is unique and one - tawhid - and cannot conceive of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Christians, in their eyes, are considered to be guilty of polytheism for believing in the Trinity! The abstract concept of there being three bodies in one - actually just like the human body - is beyond their understanding and comprehension.

So, to believe that Jesus is man's Saviour and Redeemer is totally and utterly alien to Muslims. As far as they are concerned, indeed as far as they are convinced, Jesus was not crucified at all. They believe that a look-alike was crucified in his stead!

For a devout and practising Christian, there can be no compromising on these issues; likewise, for a devout and practising Muslim, there can also be no compromising on them, either.

So would someone like to explain to me what all this 'interfaith dialogue' is about? For what compromise is there to be? Perhaps I'm missing something; but I don't think so.

You see, the differences between Islam and Christianity are so clear in even the basic understanding of the concept of God in the two religions. The name for God in Islam is Allah. Allah is also the name for God for Christian Arabs. But the Christians' understanding of God (and the Christian Arabs' understanding of Allah) is very different from the Muslims understanding of Him. For anyone seriously to believe that these two deities are the same, he would have to be seriously deluded. To a Muslim, Allah is to be feared; to a Christian, He is the kind and understanding and merciful Father.

The fact of the matter is clear: 'Interfaith dialogue' is a mechanism thought up by the weak and ineffectual in a desperate attempt to find a solution to the growing chasm in Western society, a chasm between the ever-growing Muslim population and the rest. (Do we ever hear calls for 'interfaith dialogue' from Muslims?) But it is merely a Band Aid. It will never solve the problems that have been shored up for us over the past few decades, never solve the problems of increasing tensions which will inevitably ensue.

Truth is: Our politicians, because they have lacked the foresight to see the inevitable outcome of their lax immigration laws, because they have lacked the courage to enact sensible laws to stem the growing problem of immigration in this country, and because they have failed to lead, they have got us all into a fine mess. Believe me: The storm clouds are gathering on the horizon. It's only a matter time now before we will witness their devastation.

Ahmadinejad: "Jews Get Out"

Photoshop by Christine.

Gateway Pundit notes that Ahmadinejad has been very busy the past 24 hours:

* He again warns the Jews to Get Out! of Israel and go back to where you came from
* He tells Germany to stop being threatened by the Zionists
* He hints that Iran may leave the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty
* He threatens to hide Iran's nuclear program
* He threatens to share Iran's nuclear technolgy during a meeting with the "Genocide President", Omar Hassan Al Bashir, from Sudan

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told Jews to get out of Israel and leave the land for the Arabs. "Speaking at a press conference in Tehran the day before Holocaust Remembrance Day, he reiterated his claim that Israel must not be allowed to exist."

After a visit by the Sudanese President on Tuesday, Iran said it would share it's nuclear technology with the world:

Iran is ready to share its nuclear technology with other countries, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said after talks on Tuesday with the visiting Sudanese president, state television reported. Iran is embroiled in a nuclear standoff with the West, which fears Teheran is secretly developing atomic weapons, which could be transferred to terrorist groups or spark an arms race in the Middle East.

Iran insists it only wants nuclear technology for peaceful purposes, such as producing electricity.

"The nuclear strength of the Iranian scientists is an example of several scientific currents in Iran that are going ahead, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to transfer the experience, science and technology of its scientists," state television quoted Khamenei as saying.

And, of course, leaders in the Peaceful State of Palestine think this is a-ok:

Anwar Raja, PFLP representative in Lebanon: The Muslim, Iranian, fighting people now possess nuclear capabilities. My brother, the Iranian representative sitting here, let me tell you that we, the Palestinian people, are in favor of Iran having a nuclear bomb, not just energy for peaceful purposes.

Gee, do you think they might be planning something?
