Get a Story on ABC

What if we unified our efforts? What if we chose a particular story and gathered our contacts to submit the story to the following programs? The organized effort alone would probably be newsworthy, but besides that, the story would undoubtedly get some attention. Below are ABC contact pages. What story would be a good one to submit?

How about the work of Mapping Sharia? And their findings that 75% of mosques in America are preaching the overthrow of the U.S. government? The extra attention for Mapping Sharia would be good for the cause, and no doubt Mapping Sharia would gain more financial support, and the work they're doing is very important.

When considering the old main stream media, it may help to keep this chart link handy:

2008, Who Owns What on Television?

CW where'd you get that pic?

CW - can you be more specific on how to do this. Some kind of media blast from the bloggosphere?

I don't know where I got that pic, Epa.

WC, I was thinking something like this: Each of us here has a connection to however many networks of people, and many of the people in our networks are bloggers.

We could each post and/or email the specific campaign we have agreed to push, along with the contact information. And then we could encourage everyone to start suggesting the particular story we've chosen to those contacts, and encourage everyone else to encourage everyone in THEIR network to do the same.

Anonymous, I will check out that article. Can you elaborate on what you think it means or if you think ABC is a bad choice and why? Do you have a better choice?

Okay, Anonymous, I looked at that page you sent me and it doesn't say anything that would dissuade me from choosing ABC. So what if big corporations own television stations? They are businesses and want to make money. Television stations make money by producing shows that people will watch.

I think people would watch a show about Mapping Sharia. It's interesting from many different angles.

Does anyone know which three ABC shows would be most likely to cover this kind of story?
