As Muslim Student Association (MSA) chapters have become increasingly influential at universities and colleges around the country, critics have charged that it is a hate group that sympathizes with the international jihad and promulgates an anti-American and anti-Semitic ideology in its campus actions. In response, the MSA has claimed that it is merely another religious and cultural group similar to Hillel, a club for Jewish students, or the Newman Club for Catholics. That deception has been now unmasked at the University of Southern California, where the school’s Provost, Chrysostomos L. Max Nikias, reacting to a call from the David Horowitz Freedom Center and the Simon Wiesenthal Center, has ordered the campus MSA to remove a “despicable” hadith calling for Muslims to murder Jews as a condition for redemption from its website.
David Horowitz, President of the Freedom Center, hails this as a breakthrough moment when the double standards that control the political and intellectual culture of most universities have finally been challenged. “Up to now, the slightest criticism of radical Islam on campus has been slammed as ‘Islamophobia,’ while Muslim groups and their radical fellow travelers have been allowed to say the most hateful things imaginable about Christians and Jews without any reaction from university administrators whatsoever,” Horowitz says. “Provost Nikias has called the hadith on the MSA website for what it is: despicable. Given the atmosphere that prevails on most campuses today, it was an act of integrity on his part to make this call and to demand that the MSA live up to basic standards of civility that should govern the university.”
Tribesmen bury five women alive for wanting to choose their own husbands
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - A Pakistani lawmaker defended a decision by southwestern tribesmen to bury five women alive because they wanted to choose their own husbands, telling stunned members of Parliament this week to spare him their outrage.
"These are centuries-old traditions and I will continue to defend them," Israr Ullah Zehri, who represents Baluchistan province, said Saturday. "Only those who indulge in immoral acts should be afraid."
The women, three of whom were teenagers, were first shot and then thrown into a ditch.
New Israeli Movie debuts....Kiss Qom Goodbye and the sequel .. Iran warns any attack would start 'world war'
Report: Israel won't allow a nuclear Iran
Aug. 29, 2008 JPost.com Staff , THE JERUSALEM POST
Israel will not allow Iran to attain nuclear capability and if time begins to run out, Jerusalem will not hesitate to take whatever means necessary to prevent Iran from achieving its nuclear goals, the government has recently decided in a special discussion.
According to the Israeli daily Ma'ariv, whether the United States and Western countries succeed in thwarting the Islamic Republic's nuclear ambitions diplomatically, through sanctions, or whether a US strike on Iran is eventually decided upon, Jerusalem has begun preparing for a separate, independent military strike.
Ephraim Sneh a veteran Labor MK who has recently left the party, has reportedly sent a document to both US presidential candidates, John McCain and Barack Obama. The eight-point document states that "there is no government in Jerusalem that would ever reconcile itself to a nuclear Iran. When it is clear Iran is on the verge of acquiring nuclear weapons, an Israeli military strike to prevent this will be seriously considered."
And in nearly Judenrein Europe....
According to Ma'ariv, Sneh offered the two candidates the "sane, cheap and the only option that does not necessitate bloodshed." To prevent Iran's nuclear aspirations, Sneh wrote, "real" sanctions applied by the US and Europe were necessary. A total embargo in spare parts for the oil industry and a total boycott of Iranian banks would promptly put an end to the regime, which is already pressured by a sloping economy and would be toppled by the Iranian people if they have outside assistance, he said.
The window of opportunity Sneh suggests is a year and a half to two years, until 2010.
Sneh also visited Switzerland and Austria last week in an attempt to lobby them against the Iranian threat. Both countries have announced massive long-term investments in Iranian gas and oil fields for the next decade.
"Talk of the Jewish Holocaust and Israel's security doesn't impress these guys," Sneh said wryly.
Hmmm, I just wonder why....but apparently they still just don't get it...
Hearing his hosts speak of their future investments, Sneh replied quietly "it's a shame, because Ido will light all this up." He was referring to Maj. Gen. Ido Nehushtan, the recently appointed IAF commander and the man most likely to be the one to orchestrate Israel's attack on Iran's nuclear facilities, should this become a necessity.
"Investing in Iran in 2008," Sneh told his Austrian hosts, "is like investing in the Krupp steelworks in 1938, it's a high risk investment." The Austrians, according to Sneh, turned pale.
Iran had increased the number of operating centrifuges at its uranium enrichment plant to 4,000.
Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Reza Sheikh Attar, who visited the Natanz plant last week, said that Iran was preparing to install even more centrifuges, though he did not offer a timeframe.
"Right now, nearly 4,000 centrifuges are operating at Natanz," Attar told the state news agency IRNA. "Currently, 3,000 other centrifuges are being installed."
Meanwhile, the pan-Arabic Al Kuds al Arabi reported Friday that Iran had equipped Hizbullah with longer range missiles than those it possessed before the Second Lebanon War and had also improved the guerrilla group's targeting capabilities.
According to the report, which The Jerusalem Post could not verify independently, Hizbullah was planning a massive rocket onslaught on targets reaching deep into Israel's civilian underbelly in case Israel launches an attack on Iran.
Iran warns any attack would start 'world war'
A senior Iranian military commander has warned that any US or Israeli attack on the Islamic republic would start a new world war, the state news agency IRNA reported on Saturday.
"Any aggression against Iran will start a world war," deputy chief of staff for defence publicity, Brigadier General Masoud Jazayeri, said in a statement carried by the agency.
Iran is under international pressure to halt uranium enrichment, a process which lies at the core of fears about Iran's nuclear programme as it can make nuclear fuel as well as the fissile core of an atom bomb.
"The unrestrained greed of the US leadership and global Zionism... is gradually leading the world to the edge of a precipice," Jazayeri said, citing the unrest in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan and Georgia.
"It is evident that if such a challenge occurs, the fake and artificial regimes will be eliminated before anything," he said, without naming any countries.
Iran does not recognise Israel, which is often described by officials in Tehran as a "fake regime."
The United States and its staunch ally Israel, the region's sole if undeclared nuclear armed nation, accuse Iran of seeking atomic weapons under the guise of a civilian nuclear programme.
Iran has vehemently denied the allegations, insisting its nuclear drive is aimed solely at providing electricity for a growing population when its reserves of fossil fuels run out.
The United States has never ruled out military action against Iran over its defiance of international demands for an enrichment freeze, but so far is pursuing the diplomatic route with calls for more sanctions.
Iran has repeatedly vowed a crushing response to any attacks and it has flexed military muscles in recent years by holding war games and showing off an array of home-grown weaponry and missiles.
Another top military commander said Iran was prepared to "take the enemies off-guard" and would unveil more weapons in case of an attack
Governor Palin is not merely, as Jay describes her, "all-American", but hyper-American. What other country in the developed world produces beauty queens who hunt caribou and serve up a terrific moose stew?
As an immigrant, I'm not saying I came to the United States purely to meet chicks like that, but it was certainly high on my list of priorities.
And for the gun-totin' Miss Wasilla then to go on to become Governor while having five kids makes it an even more uniquely American story.
Next to her resume, a guy who's done nothing but serve in the phony-baloney job of "community organizer" and write multiple autobiographies looks like just another creepily self-absorbed lifelong member of the full-time political class that infests every advanced democracy....
Sarah Palin and Barack Obama are more or less the same age, but Governor Palin has run a state and a town and a commercial fishing operation, whereas (to reprise a famous line on the Rev Jackson) Senator Obama ain't run nothin' but his mouth. She's done the stuff he's merely a poseur about.
Storm Track Intimidation: Danish Publisher Shows Its Anti-Dhimmitude
The Danes continue to bristle at attempts by the Islamists to impose their will on a free society. Even us Random House refuses to publish the Jewel of Medina and shows their subservience to Islam, a Danish Publisher will not be so intimidated.
Denmark is again ready to exercise its free speech and press principles by releasing a controversial novel about Mohammed's child wife An American novel about the 6-year-old wife of Mohammed, Aisha, may end up being released in Denmark.
Kremlin:Sorry, Ossetia isn't Bosnia after all, it's the SUDETENLAND
It's Ivan the Terrible, stupid
Kremlin announces that South Ossetia will join 'one united Russian state'
Tony Halpin in Moscow
The Kremlin moved swiftly to tighten its grip on Georgia's breakaway regions yesterday as South Ossetia announced that it would soon become part of Russia, which will open military bases in the province under an agreement to be signed on Tuesday.
When Putin said that the collapse of the USSR was the greatest calamity of the 20th century, I certainly didn't take him seriously enough. But where was the Bush administration, the steely eyed Texan? DUPED by looking dreamily into 'Pootey poots' eyes. As stupid on this as on not cleaning house after 9/11 at the CIA , FBI, and other advisory panels. FAILURES on critical issues.
So now what? Russia has said if we arm a nation which was in the process of becoming a NATO ally (Georgia) they would look on it as an act of war. Perhaps we should have been saying this of Iran to the Russians all along. This is the same principle they applied in the nuclear blackmail they have been applying to Poland, the Ukraine and anyone who thinks freedom offers a better model. To whom should this kind of decision be trusted?
One lesson is CERTAIN from this, AGAIN. Politics is determined by the result on the battlefield.
These people should be armed. Our armed forces are going to have to grow. AGAIN. I cannot tell you the disgust I feel having come to the conclusion that we are now IN a cold war again with this latest anouncement, and that it was probably inevitable because of the outlook of Putin. This FACT is going to have some very serious ramifications in the war against radical islam and jihadism.
Yesterday, these guys tested their ICBM which is designed to attack through missile defenses.I have no idea whether or not it can, at this point, however I can tell you that the last ICBM we developed was in 1983, and it was totally retired from active deployment by 2005. They are about to test a brand new sub launched ICBM, as well .
There is a message in this. There is a message in Georgia. The sine wave of history has returned to zero. It is not in our control, but what we do is. Deterrence works. Time to deter. Deterrence kills no one. It instills caution into the international system.
Tarzan Kokoity, the province's Deputy Speaker of parliament, announced that South Ossetia would be absorbed into Russia soon so that its people could live in "one united Russian state" with their ethnic kin in North Ossetia.
The declaration came only three days after Russia defied international criticism and recognised South Ossetia and Georgia's other separatist region of Abkhazia as independent states. Eduard Kokoity, South Ossetia's leader, agreed that it would form part of Russia within "several years" during talks with Dmitri Medvedev, the Russian President, in Moscow.
The disclosure will expose Russia to accusations that it is annexing land regarded internationally as part of Georgia. Until now, the Kremlin has insisted that its troops intervened solely to protect South Ossetia and Abkhazia from Georgian "aggression".
Interfax news quoted an unidentified Russian official as saying that Moscow also planned to establish two bases in Abkhazia. Sergei Shamba, Abkhazia's Foreign Minister, said that an agreement on military co-operation would be signed within a month.
Georgia announced that it was recalling all diplomatic staff from its embassy in Moscow in protest at the continued Russian occupation of its land in defiance of a ceasefire agreement brokered by President Sarkozy of France. The parliament in Tbilisi declared Abkhazia and South Ossetia to be under Russian occupation.
Barack Obama is an immensely talented man whose talents have been largely devoted to crafting, and chronicling, his own life. Not things. Not ideas. Not institutions. But himself.
Nothing wrong or even terribly odd about that, except that he is laying claim to the job of crafting the coming history of the United States. A leap of such audacity is odd. The air of unease at the Democratic convention this week was not just a result of the Clinton psychodrama. The deeper anxiety was that the party was nominating a man of many gifts but precious few accomplishments -- bearing even fewer witnesses.
When John Kerry was introduced at his convention four years ago, an honor guard of a dozen mates from his Vietnam days surrounded him on the podium attesting to his character and readiness to lead. Such personal testimonials are the norm. The roster of fellow soldiers or fellow senators who could from personal experience vouch for John McCain is rather long. At a less partisan date in the calendar, that roster might even include Democrats Russ Feingold and Edward Kennedy, with whom John McCain has worked to fashion important legislation.
Eerily missing at the Democratic convention this year were people of stature who were seriously involved at some point in Obama's life standing up to say: I know Barack Obama. I've been with Barack Obama. We've toiled/endured together. You can trust him. I do.
Hillary Clinton could have said something like that. She and Obama had, after all, engaged in a historic, utterly compelling contest for the nomination. During her convention speech, you kept waiting for her to offer just one line of testimony: I have come to know this man, to admire this man, to see his character, his courage, his wisdom, his judgment. Whatever. Anything.
DENVER - John McCain tapped little-known Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to be his vice presidential running mate on Friday in a startling selection on the eve of the Republican National Convention.
In an announcement, the campaign said that Palin, who has been governor less than two years, "has the record of reform and bipartisanship that others can only speak of."
"Her experience in shaking up the status quo is exactly what is needed in Washington today," the campaign said. can National Convention.
Two senior campaign officials had disclosed McCain's decision a few hours before the Republican presidential nominee-to-be and his newly-minted running mate appeared at a rally in swing-state Ohio.
Palin, like McCain, is a conservative with a maverick streak who has shown a willingness to clash with others in her own party. A self-styled hockey mom and political reformer, she has been governor of her state less than two years.
At 44, Palin is a generation younger that Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware, who is Barack Obama's running mate on the Democratic ticket.
She is three years Obama's junior, as well — and McCain has made much in recent weeks of Obama's relative lack of experience in foreign policy and defense matters.
In making his pick, McCain passed over several more prominent prospects who had figured in speculation for months — Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge among them.
Palin flew overnight to an airport in Ohio near Dayton, and even as she awaited her formal introduction, some aides said they had believed she was at home in Alaska.
She is a former mayor of Wasilla who became governor of her state in December, 2006 after ousting a governor of her own party in a primary and then dispatching a former governor in the general election.
More recently, she has come under the scrutiny of an investigation by the Republican-controlled legislature into the possibility that she ordered the dismissal of Alaska's public safety commissioner because he would not fire her former brother-in-law as a state trooper.
The timing of McCain's selection appeared designed to limit any political gain Obama yields from his own convention, which ended Thursday night with his nominating acceptance speech before an estimated 84,000 in Invesco Field in Colorado.
Public opinion polls show a close race between Obama and McCain, and with scarcely two months remaining until the election, neither contender can allow the other to jump out to a big post-convention lead.
McCain has had months to consider his choice, and has made it clear to reporters that one of his overriding goals was to avoid a situation like the one in 1988, when Dan Quayle was thrown into a national campaign with little preparation.
Palin has a long history of run-ins with the Alaska GOP hierarchy, giving her genuine maverick status and reformer credentials that could complement McCain's image.
Two years ago, she ousted the state's Republican incumbent governor, Frank Murkowski in the primary, despite having little money and little establishment backing.
She has also distanced herself from two senior Republican office-holders, sen. Ted Stevens and Rep. Don young. Both men are under federal corruption investigations.
She had earned stripes — and enmity — after Murkowski made her head of the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. From that post, she exposed ethical violations by the state GOP chairman, also a fellow commissioner.
She and her husband Todd Palin, have five children. The latest, a baby, was born with Down syndrome.
That's an interesting calculation on McCain's part; picking another "reach across the aisle" politician. The point is, I'm sure, that his position vs. the Obama-Biden ticket.
McCain now looks as if he really does want to heal the left/right rift which has opened up in our country.
Meanwhile, Obama, who has been giving lip-service to such a healing process, looks as if he is one of the most extremely partisan characters ever to run for President of the United States.
Oh, and I forgot to mention, she's a woman, and a bit of a hottie, huh?
Don't try to tell me you wouldn't do her, if you had the chance.
Must He Die? Meet A Muslim Dissident Who Loves Jews, Christians And Free Speech

His country wants to hang him, and this could happen within the next few months. Sallah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury is a Bangladeshi journalist, publisher and peace activist who has left the fold of Jew hatred and Muslim supremacy that is infecting his country in recent years. For that, he is accused of ‘crimes against humanity’ and ‘hurting the image of Islam.’ Choudhury goes back on trial for his life on August 31, 2008.
Well, they didn't blame the jews, so that leaves only one person to blame - GEORGE BUSH
Moscow officials point to U.S. role behind Georgia's actions
Russian officials are blaming the United States for the conflict in Georgia, arguing that the United States has fanned the flames of the conflict and using the conflict for domestic political gain.
Some sources in Russia suggested that the U.S. backing for Tbilisi is part of a covert American plan to subvert Russia.
Prime Minister Vladimir Putin stated Aug. 11 that he was surprised by the "scale of cynicism" on the part of the United States, which in criticizing Russia and transporting Georgian troops from Iraq to Georgia was "passing off white as black and black as white." Putin accused U.S. diplomats of maintaining a "Cold War mentality" and viewing Georgian leader Mikheil Saakashvili as they had Nicaragua's Somoza: "An SOB, but our SOB."
We're back to 1955. The cleanly elected president of Georgia, portrayed by the KGB's children of dizinformaziya like Putin, as Somoza is a canard totally dependent on the Gus Hall, Cyndy Sheehan, Michael Mooore left of the USA jumping into jackbooted lockstep. Even I'm not so sure they are THAT DUMB (but you never know).
"Everything speaks to the lack of desire of official Tbilisi and Washington to settle the conflict. Otherwise why did U.S. military planes transport 800 Georgian servicemen with military hardware from Iraq to Georgia?" Deputy Chief of the General Staff Anatoly Nogovitsyn stated Aug. 12.
Uh,,,,,, to defend their homeland from ANOTHER Russian invasion
Russian U.N. Ambassador Vitaliy Churkin said Aug. 11 that "we know that Saakashvili has not distinguished himself recently by the appropriateness of his analysis and actions, and we would not like to think that he was given some order from Washington. We would like to hope that, possibly, we were talking about some sort of incorrect interpretation on the part of the president of Georgia of any signals that could have been sent from Washington."
One Russian Duma leader, Boriz Gryzlov said the war was "part of the Republican Party's election campaign."
Yes, the Russians are so dumb that we could provoke them to war so Bush could get McCain elected. Do they realize how idiotic they appear?
Former Russian Baltic Fleet Commander Eduard Baltin was quoted in Gazeta as
saying that the U.S. "decided to conquer the world in a consistent way -- economically, informationally, ideologically, and through military operations, most often by others' hands... The U.S. made [Georgia] into a nuisance-state for Russia."
We'll give up our nefarious plan to conquer the world for ......one million dollars
Other commentators suggested that the Georgian conflict was a direct U.S. military probe at the Russian soft underbelly of the Caucasus.
Actually, Senator, you're not the party of FDR and you're not the party of Kennedy, and that IS the center of the issue
And I'm here to tell you you WON'T keep america safe.
It was FDR who authorized the mass bombing of enemy cities on two different continents, including some cities which belonged to our allies, and were filled with allied people. Nantes, and L'Orient, for instance. It was FDR who authorized Manhattan, a project he understood would slaughter thousands of civilians at a minimum, to protect our service men's lives.
It was Kennedy, who during the administration of Eisenhower campaigned on the existence of a missile gap with the USSR, who insisted on Titan, Atlas and Minuteman to correct what turned out to be a nonexistent defect in our arsenal. It was Kennedy who began Vietnam, and saw to Diem and his brother. It was Kennedy who blockaded an entire nation in a pure act of war to intimidate another power
All undertaken to protect the nation. We might argue their results, but not their intent.
And then your party became other.
It is your party which thought Ho Chi Minh was the head of the United Mine Workers of America and could be sent 'messages' via variable F-4 density employment, and bargained with while we bombed Vietnam day and night.
It was your party and Church Commission which ended any function the CIA might have which could have helped us effectively in Afghanistan, or in the Sudan, in the 90's
It was your party which did nothing while the ideology of the Wahabbis and Khomeinsts spread worldwide.
It was your party which cut off funds to Vietnam including the ability of our air force to simply HELP them.
It was your party which stood by in silence, inaction and fear as the Iran we know today came into existence
It was your party which was powerless as our people were taken captive there
It was your party in 1994 which signed the agreement with North Korea which gave them the time to develop their nuclear program in secret, while your party naively touted the treaty the NoKo's signed just for that purpose.
It was NOT your party or your policies which ended the cold war, it was the party and policies your party opposed bitterly and with sneering contempt.
It is your party which won't allow deployment, and will cut the funds for weapons which would protect our civilians and our cities, and harm no humans. And your party has backed this position since as long as can be remembered.
It is your party which is afraid to be disliked around the world, by people who hate, envy or simply don't understand us to begin with, if we act in our own interest.
It is your party which believes Al Qaeda is a figment of Afghanistan and the Northwest Territories and if that defect is corrected there, the effort is complete
It is your party and you who wants to go back to police investigations to jail organized international religious institutions which act in concert to kill americans en masse, and go back to the policies of the 90's which you lauded.
I am sorry Sen Obama, but you are not the party of FDR and Kennedy anymore, and you won't keep america safe.
I thought this was a good use of funds. If nothing else, it produced some publicity for a good film. And who knows, maybe one of the democrats actually watched the film.
DENVER. A statement of issues and positions provided by the Democratic National Convention includes not a single reference to "radical Islam," and its only references to "Islam" are to an imam scheduled to speak and to identify Afghanistan as where the U.S. should be battling al-Qaida, since "the vast majority of Muslims believe in a future of peace, tolerance."
However, an organization has been flooding DNC delegates and Denver with copies of the video "Obsession" because members believe the threat to the U.S. is being dismissed or minimized, and the results – like those of Sept. 11, 2001 – could be catastrophic.
"The reaction has been everything from people who are upset with us and call us Islamophobes to a gay, Jewish delegate who's seen 'Obsession' and told us the Democrats aren't taking radical Islamic fundamentalists seriously," said Karen England, a spokeswoman for the group promoting the Watch Obsession website. (source: EuropeNews)
It is instructive that the Bauer letter over an ad which can be said only to have overreached, which followed successful intimidation to the Clinton and Edwards campaigns is instantly the precursor to the attempt to silence someone serious.
Stanley Kurtz, who writes for the National Review.
DENVER -- Sen. Barack Obama's campaign organized its supporters Wednesday night to confront Tribune-owned WGN-AM in Chicago for having a critic of the Illinois Democrat on its air.
"WGN radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears," Obama's campaign wrote in an e-mail to supporters. "He's currently scheduled to spend a solid two-hour block from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. pushing lies, distortions, and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers."
And what do they show as proof that he is a hatchet man.. why he is tied to that other radical bomb thrower..... Bill Kristol !
Kurtz, a conservative writer, recently wrote an article for the National Review that looked at Obama's ties to Ayers, a former 1960s radical who later emerged as a school reform advocate in Chicago.
The magazine had been blocked in its initial attempts to obtain records from the University of Illinois at Chicago regarding a school reform initiative called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge, which Obama chaired and Ayers co-founded. Obama critics were quick to suggest that political clout could be involved in seeking to protect Obama from embarrassment. The school later reversed its position and made the records available Tuesday.
On Wednesday evening, Obama's campaign urged supporters to call the radio station to complain. "Tell WGN that by providing Kurtz with airtime, they are legitimizing baseless attacks from a smear-merchant and lowering the standards of political discourse," the note said.
"It is absolutely unacceptable that WGN would give a slimy character assassin like Kurtz time for his divisive, destructive ranting on our public airwaves," the note continued. "At the very least, they should offer sane, honest rebuttal to every one of Kurtz's lies."
I read that issue of National Review and there was absolutely NOTHING remarkable about the article.
Mr. Kurtz is a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, is a Harvard-educated social anthropologist and frequent contributor to National Review, among other publications. He is widely respected for his meticulous research and measured commentary. For months, he has been doing the job the mainstream media refuses to do: examining the background and public record of Barack Obama, the first-term senator Democrats are about to make their nominee for president despite the shallowness of his experience and achievement.
The Obama campaign, whose leader has complained that we have done evil in the name of good in the middle east, has, in order to stop what they must consider to be damaging established a solid record of mob intimidation, real smears, and pure attacks on free speech, while demonstrating how unable they are to accept any kind of harsh criticism.
What will happen if these people achieve power?
And they have complained about a Bushitler?
Those senators so concerned about the FISA 'attacks' on the constitution...so loud and vociferous, are they silently warning Mr, Obama right now about what he is doing? About the record he is making? In about an hour, Mr. Obama will be speaking to us about a better America of his making.
How can we accept Mr. Obama's speech as sincere, and look at him as if he really CARES about a better America, when those who question that sincerity and who he is, out of concern for the nation, are subject to such intimidation.
We Don't Need To Attack Iran Or Use Nukes" - An Interesting Comment From An Anonymous Commenter
The West doesn't NEED to attack Iran or use Nukes.
As I hear MOST Iranians do not fully support the Government or the President or the Imams and Mullahs, but like the bullied Germans in the mid 20th century dare not disobey.
Muslims NEED to be either freed from their 7th century beliefs or forced to "come out".
Two or three conventional missiles aimed at the Ka'aba in Mecca and the two mosques on Temple Mount would either force them to become a convential army - or make them say "ah well" and discard their mantle and become true world citizens without the chains of Islam.
WHAT a diplomatic incident! But then who would know who did it anyway? Actually a few RPGs might be as good - and just WHO did it?
True they will blame the US whatever but they even blamed the US (and Jews) for 9/11. Islam spawns a blame culture . Could NEVER be them. Perhaps we should learn from their example!
The Muslims are NEVER to blame.
They ARE, after all, better than anyone else (except the women that is - and ARABS are best of all - a fact most non-Arab Muslims fail to realise.) the Pakistanis in an Islamic State would at best be 2nd class citizens.
Then again if we leave them alone their inter-sect fighting will eliminate many more than will be eliminated by East-West wars.
So much for the Umma and the Brotherhood then. (BOTH fictitious and supremacist.)
Is it REALLY true that a Pakistani peasant with NO education, limited intelligence, work-shy, and living in disgusting conditions is ACTUALLY better than me?
I don't think so but Islam does. They even claim that I am "dirty".
I do not claim to be better than them but THEY claim to be better than me. The peasant, freed from the constraints of Islam might well bossom
Funny how they want to come here to the UK then.
No doubt the free welfare benefits are just as good as jizyya and, if they can manage it then tax evasion is another good rip-off. After all it is "cultural". So TAKE OUT the Ka'aba and deal with the fallout! If I only HAD access to Mecca (and non-muslims do not) then I'd happily do it for the benefit of ALL mankind.
The fallout? Well I'd guess it would cause the confusion caused when one destroys an ants nest
In some parts of the North West Frontier Province (in Pakistan), people are enlisting in anti-Taliban squads to take on the jihadists who are blamed for a spate of abductions and arson attacks on girls’ schools, rural clinics and cyber cafes.
But not that tiny ...63% of us favor whacking Iran if diplomacy fails
"Iran, Cuba, Venezuela,
these countries are tiny compared to the Soviet Union," Obama said.
"They don't pose a serious threat to us " May 18, 2008
Sixty-three percent of Americans say that if diplomacy fails to solve the Iranian nuclear crisis, they would approve of an Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear sites, a new poll has found.
The poll, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies and Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research and commissioned by The Israel Project, also finds that 87% of US voters feel that a nuclear-armed Iran would pose a threat to the US.
Meanwhile, 80% of Americans said it was likely Iran would use nuclear weapons if it acquired them.
The threat of Iran is apparently felt across the political spectrum, with 85% of Democrats and 97% of Republicans believing the Islamic Republic represents a serious threat to the US.
However, 62% of those polled also felt that it was still possible to find a diplomatic solution to the crisis.
Sorry, but that's a dream, folks. That's okay if you are prepared for the reality.
The approval rate for American military action against Iran was lower than that of an Israeli operation, with 55% supporting targeted strikes by the US and its allies.
Sigh....the american people are beleaguered and need leadership. Bush has FAILED as we can see from this number. 80% feel Iran would use nukes, but only slightly over half want to do something about that, the rest praying that Israel under Olmert/Livni would take action AND succeed. Puuuuuuulllleeeeeeeeeeeeeze !

Glenn Beck, I curse you! I can't get the song out of my head. Thanks a lot, guy.
All Hail the Messiah! Obama, Obama! The Path to the New Socialist Motherland Our Savior! Our Savior! Obama, Obama! The leader more famous than Lindsay Lohan Bow down and praise the One. Give him your money and your guns. Give us a country that makes your wife proud! Lord Barry heal the bitter ones. White and clinging to faith and to guns. Vote for the change of the hope of the change!
So. Very catchy. Yet, I like. Let's see if there are any other catchy Obama songs out there. I have hightlighted Building a Religion, and here it is again:
The principal of an Islamic boarding school on Buffalo’s East Side has been forced to resign after allegations that he was sexually involved with one of his students and that he claimed to have taken her as a second wife.
Evidence suggests Mohammed Ibrahim Memon, a father of seven, persuaded Sajidah Khan, then 21, to marry under Islamic law as a pretense to sleep with her. [...]
And he wants to bargain:
Memon also agreed to never teach in the girls school again if reinstated. [...]
There is more, with some odd twists. Apparently Memon, imam at Masjid At-Taqwa, finalized the marriage without the presence of the bride and with the approval of his legal wife. Read it all.
The Bullshit of The Bushitler Myth, Or, In Other Words, What The Hell Is Going On At The Democratic Convention?
ABC Reporter Arrested in Denver Taking Pictures of Senators, Big Donors Asa Eslocker Was Investigating the Role of Lobbyists and Top Donors at the Convention
I don't remember this kind of thing happening to anyone covering the Republican Convention. How did this Denver Police Seargent get it in his mind that this arrest was legal, or for that matter, Constitutional? How did this Denver Police Seargent get it into his mind that he could get away with this kind of behavior?
DENVER--Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he and a camera crew were attempting to take pictures on a public sidewalk of Democratic Senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown Palace Hotel.
Police on the scene refused to tell ABC lawyers the charges against the producer, Asa Eslocker, who works with the ABC News investigative unit.
A cigar-smoking Denver police sergeant, accompanied by a team of five other officers, first put his hands on Eslocker's neck, then twisted the producers arm behind him to put on handcuffs.
A police official later told lawyers for ABC News that Eslocker is being charged with trespass, interference, and failure to follow a lawful order. He also said the arrest followed a signed complaint from the Brown Palace Hotel.
Hint to the moonbats: The Denver Police Seargent was "ONLY FOLLOWING ORDERS".
He ought to be real proud of himself.
And, here's a topic for the Denver Police Seargent to look up, if any of his friends happen to email this post to him (which I would suggest):
Only following orders? Hey, Police Seargent, tell the Democrats, "No. I will not act against my Constitutional Authority."
What's this? Another Madrassah In The United States?
Regular readers of IBA know that I frequently write about the Islamic Saudi Academy, here at IBA, at Northern Virginiastan, and at myown sites. Because the ISA is in the Northern Virginia, where I live, I have particular interest in that specific madrassah, so I also have Google alerts set up for "Islamic Saudi Academy."
The following recently popped up in my Google alerts and is about a madrassah in Central Ohio; of course, the word madrassah is never mentioned, although the photo at the aforementioned link shows all the females wearing the hijab - the symbol of support of shari'a law:
Islamic school hopes sun rises on plans for expansion
Sunrise Academy, the private K-8 Islamic school located in Hilliard, is filled to capacity this school year and looking to expand.
"We are in the process of looking for two buildings: one for a high school and one to purchase on the East Side to start an elementary over there," said Director Leah Mohiuddin.
"That is in the works. That is what our goal is," she said.
That's how the Islamic Saudi Academy started out, too.I watched it happen before my very eyes.
Generally speaking, officials are seeking high school space in Northwest Columbus.
A new elementary school probably would open with grades K-3 and expand one grade per year through eighth grade, she said. That is the model Sunrise Academy followed when it opened its doors a dozen years ago in a former library at 5657 Scioto Darby Road.
Another similarity to the Islamic Saudi Academy, which first bought out a private school, then got, for a time, rent-free space from Fairfax County Public Schools. Again, I watched it happen before my very eyes.
Is there a pattern with these Moslem schools in the United States? Looks like it. What's going on in your neighborhood?
Enrollment this school year is 340.
"We are full to capacity. There is a waiting list in every grade level. We turned away 200 to 300 children," said Mohiuddin.
"We just have so many children in our community. Parents are all looking for an education for their children in an environment where they can learn without being afraid of who they are. That is what we offer. We are not able to get every child in here, which is a shame," said Mohiuddin.
Sunrise students don't have to worry about intimidation by students who do not understand Islamic practice, including clothing style.
"In public school, people pull head scarves off the girls. Kids still call Muslim kids terrorists. It's sad. Education is the key and we just have to keep educating people," said Mohiuddin.
Girls and women may choose to wear a scarf or hijab in public for the sake of modesty as well as to prevent others from judging them based on their looks, several young Muslim women said in an interview last year.
Although Islam is the common religion for all at Sunrise, students' families come from 32 countries, each with its own cultural heritage.
Included are families with backgrounds from Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Somalia, Palestine and Puerto Rico.
The school is so diverse that Muskingum College and Ashland University send their education students and future teachers to Sunrise for diversity training, said Mohiuddin.
Members of the general public sometimes are surprised to hear classes are conducted in English and, as is the case in public schools, services are provided for those who are learning English as a second language.
Sunrise requires students to take classes in the Arabic language as well as in Islamic studies, said Mohiuddin....
Note that the author of the above article is written by the director of the school, and she is quite fond of quoting herself. Let's watch to see if she gets into the same trouble that Abdalla I.M. Al-Shabnan, head of the Islamic Saudi Academy, just squirmed out of.
As noted above, the name of the madrassah in Ohio is Sunrise Academy. Check out details about the "academy" at the school's official web site. The mission statement alone is enough to make you gag, provided that you know how to read through the code words:
Education is the primary vehicle through which a society acculturates its youth, thus retaining its identity. Because of the strength of faith of the Muslim community depends directly on its self-knowledge and its ability to integrate the principles and values of Islam into the individual, we at Sunrise strive to achieve and nurture the whole spectrum of the learner's potential: physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual.
Obamacles Accepts - Commence construction of the first temple
I already saw this Star Trek and the earth people reject the god.
Obama Speech Stage Resembles Ancient Greek Temple
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's big speech on Thursday night will be delivered from an elaborate columned stage resembling a miniature Greek temple.
The stage, similar to structures used for rock concerts, has been set up at the 50-yard-line, the midpoint of Invesco Field, the stadium where the Denver Broncos' National Football League team plays.
Some 80,000 supporters will see Obama appear from between plywood columns painted off-white, reminiscent of Washington's Capitol building or even the White House, to accept the party's nomination for president.
He will stride out to a raised platform to a podium that can be raised from beneath the floor.
Let there be light....and so it was
DEUS EX MACHINA
The show should provide a striking image for the millions of Americans watching on television as Obama delivers a speech accepting the Democratic presidential nomination.
This is a joke. Reni Liefenstahl, Sergei Eisenstein level JOKE !
Politicians in past elections have typically spoken from the convention site itself, but the Obama campaign liked the idea of having their man speak to a larger, stadium-sized crowd not far from where the Democratic National Convention is being held, at the Denver pro basketball arena.
Obama was taking a page from the campaign book of John Kennedy in 1960 when the future president delivered his acceptance speech to 80,000 people in the Los Angeles Coliseum.
Once Obama speaks, confetti will rain down on him and fireworks will be fired off from locations around the stadium wall.
Democratic convention organizers said the theme for the evening is "Change We Can Believe In," which has been a consistent message of Obama's presidential campaign.
Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson will sing the national anthem that night.
Old videos appear to show a radical Muslim named Khalid Al-Mansour helped Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama gain acceptance into Harvard Law.
Civil rights activist Percy Sutton recalled being solicited by a man named Dr. Khalid A-Mansour to write a letter of recommendation to help Obama gain acceptance into Harvard Law in this undated television interview available HERE.
"I was introduced to him [Obama] by a friend who was raising money for him and the friends name was Dr. Khalid al Mansour from Texas,” Sutton said. “He is the principle adviser to one of the world's richest men. He told me about Obama. He wrote to me about him and his introduction was 'there is a young man that has applied to Harvard and I know that you have a few friends left there because you used to go up there to speak, would you please write a letter in support of him?'...I wrote a letter in support of him to my friends at Harvard saying to them I thought there was a genius that was going to be available and I sure hoped they would treat him kindly."
There are many videos available on the internet featuring a man named Khalid Al-Mansour, who describes himself as an author, scholar and businessman, blasting the Jewish culture and Christianity and preaching the virtues of Islam, reminiscent of the controversial clips discovered of Obama’s longtime friend and former pastor Rev. Jeremiah Wright that rocked headlines earlier this spring.
In one of the videos, titled “Christians Designed Discrimination” uploaded by a YouTube user named IslamStudios, Al-Mansour said, “White people don't feel bad, whatever you do to them, they deserve it, God wants you to do it and that's when you cut out the nose, cut out the ears, take flesh out of their body, don't worry because God wants you to do it."
He also draws lines between whites and African Americans. “The Christianity that white people got and the Christianity that black people got was not the same,” he added.
In this video, Al-Monsour said white people fear Islam. “The whites are saying we can’t take over Islam, we are going to destroy it. They don’t care if you become a Buddhist, they don’t care if you are a Confuscist, you can be a Christian, you can be anything in this world you want, the only thing they are afraid of is Islam because there is 1 billion 200 million, they don’t want you with that league!
In another video, posted July 1, Al-Mansour styles himself as a political analyst, advising former president Bill Clinton when, where and how Clinton should endorse Obama for president. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBnBnXPQwyM
And, of course, we already know about Obama's friendship with the unrepentant Pentagon-bombing terrorist William Ayers.
Today, Mr. Ayers and Ms. Dohrn, 59, who is director of the Legal Clinic's Children and Family Justice Center of Northwestern University,
... seem like typical baby boomers, caring for aging parents, suffering the empty-nest syndrome. Their son, Malik, 21, is at the University of California, San Diego; Zayd, 24, teaches at Boston University.
Like I said, what is it with Obama and all his Muslim connections?
Obama chooses the methods of Khalid bin Mahfouz for the US election
No matter what we think of the advertisement of the American Issues Project, which seeks to make Obama the bud of someone he claims as only a very slight acquaintance, and they claim he is linked to since launching his career in the 90's - the reaction of 'the Obama' is to crush his opposition, and thus intimidate others to silence in the manner of the Saudi terrorist financier Khalid bin Mahfouz, who sued author Rachel Ehrenfeld over Funding Evil, in England, where truth is no defense.
Similarly and significantly here, they do not attack the case made with such vigor but rather the financing of the authoring group.
If the Obama camp cannot defeat the criticisms of what they consider a quack, cracked up, case by a fringe group except through INTIMIDATION and SILENCING, none of them should be running for or advising those seeking, high office.
Imagine for a moment the minions of George Bush quashing the '9/11 Truth' fools through legal intimidation, and financial intimidation. The din would have filled the galaxy with sound. And rightfully so.
It is in the marketplace of ideas they must win, and they betray their great fears of the kind of competition which is ENDEMIC in our national substitute for coups, revolutions and rioting mobs, the election we hold every 4 years since, oh about 1789.
Obama should be employing a vigorous application of sunlight, not the thick curtains of legal intimidation.
Obama camp: Prosecute Simmons
Obama general counsel Bob Bauer today sent a second, sharper letter to the Justice Department, directly attacking the Dallas billionaire funding a harsh attack ad, Harold Simmons.
"We reiterate our request that the Department of Justice fulfill its commitment to take prompt action to investigate and to prosecute the American issues Project, and we further request that the Department of Justice investigate and prosecute Howard (sic) Simmons for a knowing and willful violation of the individual aggregate contribution limits," he wrote.
He called the group's activities "patently illegal."
Bauer made the case that Simmons' group fulfilling its a real nonprofit charter because it hasn't spent any money on anything other than attacking Obama.
A group such as AIP must spend more than 50% of its money on other activity. This is certainly a legal chimera to ensure that groups are not formed just to make ads, which of course, they are. This kind of law simply raises the economic bar to no real effect. Be CERTAIN that Moveon/Soros is ready with their assets. Who cares? Let's hear it all.
The American Issues Project released a statement responding to the letter.
"Having failed in its attempts to get our legal, factual and fully-supported ad off the air, Barack Obama's campaign now wants to put our donors in prison for exercising their right to free speech," said Ed Martin, the group's president. "These over-the-top bullying tactics are reminiscent of the kind of censorship one would see in a Stalinist dictatorship, with the only difference being that those guys generally had to wait until they were in power to throw people who disagreed with them into jail."
The group said its ad would continue to air through the end of the Democratic National Convention. Simmons has spent almost $3 million to air the ad, which can be seen on the group's site.
It's worth noting that this isn't the first time Bauer has called for criminal investigations and prosecutions into the donors to independent groups critical of Obama, including one supporting John Edwards and another supporting Hillary Rodham Clinton. His words did have the effect of scaring their donors and consultants, but haven't yet appeared to result in any prosecution.
I have the words of a great and real democrat, a true man OF the people, a killer investigator,
and a fearless man who made mistakes as well because he was not afraid to, for these liberal fascists, who would be deep into BUSHITLER analogies if the shoe was on the other foot ..."If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen."
These people prove with each and every critical action they take, such as the sliding reaction to the Russian invasion of Georgia, they are unfit for the jobs they seek.
It is not the attack ads which define the bitter partisanship, it is the actions of those who wish to silence all that they regard as unfair which define it, and move us all to the next level.
If they use the courts to try to silence opposition, and to intimidate others with less money to fight in court, what will be the reaction to that in the long run, do you think? But then, of course, all these people care about is November, and devil take the hindmost.
I have been critical of the excess of AIP ad, but that is all. As to this from Obama, this is a great shame, and as Politico notes, it is not the first time. These people are arrogantly unfit for this responsibility.
Swiss foreign minister favors direct talks with Bin Laden
Agence France Press is reporting that Switzerland's moonbat foreign minister Micheline Calmy-Rey (pictured here in the obligatory hijab at a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad) told a gathering of Swiss diplomats on Monday that she favors direct talks between her country and Al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden (Hat Tip: Shy Guy via Dhimmi Watch).
Micheline Calmy-Rey, who has raised both eyebrows and hackles with her controversial style, told Swiss ambassadors gathered in the capital Bern that they needed to talk to "heavyweight political figures" on the world stage even if they are considered persona non grata by other powers.
"This even goes as far as sitting down at the same table as Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden," she said.
Switzerland does not have any list of banned organisations to which it will not talk, unlike other countries.
Calmy-Rey said that groups as diverse as Hezbollah, the FARC guerrillas in Colombia, Tamil Tiger rebels in Sri Lanka and the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda are all "essential in the search for a resolution" of different conflicts worldwide.
She stressed however that any dialogue did not mean "accepting the unacceptable," and conceded that it could sometimes lead to tensions and "complex political blockages".
Does Calmy-Rey believe that any of these terror organizations are actually going to behave like states and respect her country's neutrality? When a state talks with a 'revolution,' it legitimizes the 'revolution' granting it power and credibility that it does not deserve. Amir Taheri pointed out in the Wall Street Journal while discussing Iran three months ago why having 'talks' with 'revolutions' doesn't work:
The Arabs, especially Egypt and Saudi Arabia, have been negotiating with the mullahs for years – the Egyptians over restoring diplomatic ties cut off by Tehran, and the Saudis on measures to stop Shiite-Sunni killings in the Muslim world – with nothing to show for it. Since 1993, the Russians have tried to achieve agreement on the status of the Caspian Sea through talks with Tehran, again without results.
The reason is that Iran is gripped by a typical crisis of identity that afflicts most nations that pass through a revolutionary experience. The Islamic Republic does not know how to behave: as a nation-state, or as the embodiment of a revolution with universal messianic pretensions. Is it a country or a cause?
A nation-state wants concrete things such as demarcated borders, markets, access to natural resources, security, influence, and, of course, stability – all things that could be negotiated with other nation-states. A revolution, on the other hand, doesn't want anything in particular because it wants everything.
Iran at least has a defined territory. Al-Qaeda does not. What Calmy-Rey hopes to accomplish by talking to al-Qaeda is anyone's guess. But whatever it is, she's not likely to accomplish it.
Epa, then, commented that one tends to forget, because places like Indonesia, the Phillipines, and the Maldives are so far away, that each one of these people is a real living, breathing human being just like us.
And, they are having their homes stolen by Muslims.
That led me to bring up the story of my Armenian friend Romik.
His family fled the Turkish mass-murder of the Armenians in 1917. They landed in Persia (now Iran).
In 1980, they escaped the Iranian monsters, and landed penniless (though they had been rich in Persia) in Paris and SoCal.
Now, his family here in SoCal is wealthy, but they are having to pool their money to bring their relatives over here from Paris, because of guess who?
Yes, that's right, the Muslims. All over the world, Muslims are destroying the lives of Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Animists, and countless other "Infidels."
Oh, and by the way, speaking of Armenians, how about that Kim Kardashian?
Damn, I wish there really were three of her.
And check out this photo (click on the boobies to engorge, I mean, enlarge the photo)
And then, there's this video which focuses on one of the most amazing big asses you will ever see. C'mon Kim, give us just a little glimpse:
This Merrie Melodies cartoon was produced by Warner Brothers in 1939. It stars Porky Pig as a schoolboy who is so bored learning the Pledge of Allegiance and American history that he falls asleep. In his dream, Porky is taken on a tour of early American history by Uncle Sam who explains its importance: "You see we Americans haven't always been as fortunate as we are today. The land of the free, do you know what the means Porky?" The brief history lessons includes appearances by such figures from the American pantheon as Patrick Henry, Paul Revere, George Washington, John Hancock and Abraham Lincoln. Amazingly, my pioneer forebears are acknowledged as heroic settlers and nation builders. I don't need to go into how they are now treated in history classrooms. This "short" is a delightful piece of Americana from a time when the nation's schoolchildren were actually taught to have pride in their country and its history.
So I saw some demonstrators in Denver in full whining mode over the horrors of Guantanamo.Made wonder how things were going.
Took a digital look around.... Here's the report of a guard....
"Good morning sir, Chief Simmons Camp 6. We have 112 assigned, 112 present. Last
night detainee 765 requested onions and parsley on his salad and requested to see the camp commander regarding his request. 844 wants a better detainee newsletter and 632 has requested a Bowflex machine because he says he is not getting enough of an upper body work out.
I don't think I have enough Hyatt points left for this kind of stuff. Of course, there is the dark side.
"We had 3 significant activities last night: 601 balled up feces and threw it at the guard hitting him in the chest saying next time he would hit him in the mouth. Next, as 155 was being taken to rec, he bit a guard on the arm until it bled. Detainee was not allowed rec and had comfort items removed. When asked why he did it, 155 just laughed. The guard was sent to medical where he is being evaluated. Finally, 767 yelled at female guard saying, 'I am going to rape you. I am going to rape you. And when I get out of here I am going to
kill you and your family.' Sir, barring any questions, that concludes my report."
Well, I don't know about you, but I think we send 765 to the CIA (Culinary Institute of America on a full boat), 844 to the Columbia School of Journalism, and 632 to FITTV. The others we send to Egypt where they will be happier, or maybe the Egyptian desert. How far from the fourth cataract to civilization?
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
“I’m quite confident that we’re going to rebel against this abusive government’
I think that we’re in a period today comparable to the American founding period in two senses: one, we’re worried about decay — we’re worried about whether we’re squandering our legacy and whether we’re calling into question whether people can really govern themselves — but also because, and this is the heartening part of this, today as never before in my lifetime, Americans have rekindled their interest in the founding era and the founding principles. Look at the wonderful sales of biographies of the founders: Washington, Hamilton, Jefferson, Madison. Look at the Tea Party, which I think frankly is one of the great events of my lifetime.
The American people go through life with a little crick of their necks from looking back at the past, and that’s healthy. We always relate to the Declaration and to the Constitution and here, along comes the Tea Party movement named after something that happened in 1773: the Boston Tea Party. And it’s called us back to reverence for, and understanding of, and insistence upon, the founding principles of limited government. So, in a good sense and a bad sense, I think we’re in the founding period.”
--- George Will
"An Islamic regime must be serious in every field," explained Ayatollah Khomeini. "There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humour in Islam. There is no fun in Islam."
"I want to be very, very clear, however: I understand and agree with the analysis of the problem. There is an imminent threat. It manifested itself on 9/11. It's real and grave. It is as serious a threat as Stalinism and National Socialism were. Let's not pretend it isn't." ~~~~~Bono~~~~~
