OF COURSE, THE TRUTH IS, THERE IS NO OFFICIAL TEA PARTY ORGANIZATION TO JOIN.
THE TEA PARTY IS A MOVEMENT, NOT A CENTRALIZED ORGANIZATION.
THERE ARE GROUPS WHICH CALL THEMSELVES THE TEA PARTY, BUT THERE IS NO INDIVIDUAL, OR BOARD, OR CORPORATION, AT THE TOP CALLING THE SHOTS.
THEREFORE, SINCE THIS GALLUP POLL SHOWS THAT 72% OF AMERICANS HAVE GOTTEN SO SICK OF OBAMA'S PROGRESSIVISM THAT THEY NOW BELIEVE BIG GOVERNMENT IS A THREAT, WE CAN SAY THAT MEANS 72% OF AMERICANS HAVE JOINED THE TEA PARTY.
BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT THE TEA PARTY IS ABOUT.

Just as the tea ended in the harbor because of the actions of Parliament so this tea party exists because of the actions of another govt. excess(es).
There is no 'party' to attack.
