This is so fucked up.

HE as on ALL sunday news shows and had a chance to say this.

He DID say this by tweet about 30 minutes ago and referred to this video

So what gives?

Conspiracy theory 1: He does not want to lose white supremacist votes in the SE primaries on TUes (he doesn't want to be 'out ni8gered'- in the words of G Wallace)

Conspiracy theory 2: Networks (ALL) want to kill his chances and KKK is perfect for this, so video is almost totally spiked

Conspiracy theory 3: Trump knows this subject will capture all publicity and then he can both prove he disavowed, slam media and keep attention

In any situation, this is totally fucked up

I tend toward number 3 because that is how he has been playing it all along. Look, this could have ended Friday with that statement and referring back to it but here it is Sunday afternoon and we're still talking about it and him.

The man does know how to suck up all the oxygen.

The media wouldn't give up on the whole KKK thing. Not Trump. He already disavowed David Duke endorsement both on Friday and in August.

I think his response on Sunday was his poor attempt to move on. If its 1, 2 or 3 from Epa's comment above, its F*cked up.

Its not 1 or 2 though or he wouldn't have said anything on Twitter. I don't THINK its 3 because he didn't bring it up, it was a question out of left field by CNN.

I think he simply f*cked up bad trying to move on from the subject.

Oh and by f*cked up bad I don't mean "poor Donald". I mean, he f*cked up. This is a huge red flag.

I agree with Pasto. I just think ideally this should have been answered properly and forcefully. Now this footage will be used by Cruz/Rubio/Hillary to claim that Trump is pro KKK.

This will not the last time he will be tripped. He cannot avoid the crazies to support him. And I do not believe it's just the leftist media doing it. The GOP is more than anxious to put pebbles, stones and boulders in his path. Both the Dems and Reps are scared to death to see him get the nomination. He will probably demolish Hillary in the debates. He must know a lot of things about her and the foundation.
