From Chris Matthews?

From I Hate The Media, from the post entitled "Blind sow finds acorn: Chris Matthews is correct on an issue":

Money quote:
Let me finish tonight with this federal injunction against the new Arizona immigration law. First of all, it is a killer issue politically for the Democrats this fall and a huge windfall for the Right. It will anger even those people who believe the Arizona law went too far. It will dramatize the main case raised by the Tea Party people, that the federal government in Washington has become too powerful, that the rights of states have been terribly abridged. That is the political consequence and it will be felt mightily this November.
A conundrum: surely, Obama knew the political possibilities at the voting booth this November before filing law suit against Arizona. Why did he, then, go ahead with that law suit?

Neo-Nazi Leading Border Patrol In Arizona?

(With a hat tip to Texas Fred)

Read about Jason "J.T." Ready HERE.

Assuming that the AP's portrayal is accurate, I say the development of such vigilante groups is inevitable. Why? Because the Obama administration continues to allow illegal invaders to pour across our southern border and the Obama administration is suing Arizona over the state's legislative attempt to curb the flow of illegal invaders.

And America will have another problem on top of the border issues we already have: If neo-Nazis and the like become associated with border control — vigilante or otherwise — that association will do much to discredit the very concept of controlling our national borders.

Again assuming that the AP's portrayal is accurate, I see such a development as a win-win situation for the Obama administration, particularly as this development relates to the federal law suit against the state of Arizona IF the federal government can convince a judicial court, or most Americans, that the law is racist. These facts will be ignored, particularly in media coverage.

For whatever reason, the playing of the race card is an effective tactic used to discredit any opposition to the agenda of the Obama administration. Of course, it's the same tactic being used to discredit the Tea Party Movement.

I hope that I'm wrong, but in my view, before the Obama administration comes to an end, race relations in the United States will again become quite polarized, perhaps worse than before the Civil Rights Movement.

The coming train wreck is going to be hideous.

God help us.

Southern Poverty Law Center Calls Arizona Border Militia "Neo-Nazis"

No, Mr. Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project did not specifically designate each and every volunteer "militia" member patrolling the Arizona border as "people who wear swastikas on their sleeves".

However, Mr. Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project did take the trouble to single out to the mainstream media one Jason "J.T." Ready, who "admits that he identifies with the National Socialist Movement" and of whose group Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeau has stated, "I'm not inviting them. And in fact, I'd rather they not come, especially those who espouse hatred or bigotry such as his."

Ready's group is only one of several volunteer militias currently patrolling the Arizona border. However, as Mr. Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center should know full well, a spotlight thrown by the MSM on one such character as this Ready idiot will be sufficient to tag everyone else trying to protect the southern border of Arizona as a "Neo-Nazi".

And if Mr. Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center thinks I'm calling him out for it he's damn right I am, and he knows where to find me.

The story has been picked up by all the networks and will likely soon be headlined at CNN, though the link above is to CBS News.

Borders on Disorders

Some parts of America are under siege from Mexican drug gangs. It's an immediate threat to many of our fellow citizens, and we should act to remedy this outrage instantly with whatever needs be done. That would be a prudent course of action, one based on citizenship. But we don't live in a nation today that values citizenship. Our intelligentsia today advocate and promote an anti-America, an anti-Americanism in lieu of citizenship. Many Americans, even if they are a small segment over-all, seem to love this pseudo-intellectual dhimmi approach to politics and social living generally. They seem to think it makes them appear smart to say the cliches of the Left. To be a "critic" is to seem smart-- to some. To be a "social critic" is to be not only smart but moral. The nation suffers from the presence and positions of these morons; but we might face something far worse if we act out of turn to change this outrage to something reasonable and practical.
