All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

Obamboozled in Bozeman
On Wednesday, August 5th, it was announced locally that the President would be coming here. There are many groups here that are against his healthcare and huge spending so those groups began talking and deciding on what they were going to do. The White House would not release any details other than the date.
On about Tuesday [we] found out that they would be holding the "Town Hall" at the airport... Our airport is actually in a very remote location.... They chose to use a hangar that is the most remotely located hangar... and you can not get to it easily. It is totally secluded from the public. FYI: We have many areas in... Bozeman which could have held a large amount of folks with sufficient parking (gymnasiums/auditoriums). All of which have chairs and tables, and would not have to be shipped in!
During the week, cargo by the tons was being shipped in constantly... Though it was our President coming several expressed how excessive it was, especially during a recession. Late Tuesday/early Wednesday the 12th, they said that tickets would be handed out on Thursday 9am at two locations and the president would be arriving around 12:30 Friday. Thursday morning about 600 tickets were passed out. However, 1500 were printed at a local printing shop per White House request... 900 tickets just disappeared!
This same morning someone called in to the radio from the local UPS branch and said that thousands of dollars of lobster were shipped in for Obama. Montana has some of the best beef in the nation! And it would have been really wonderful to help out the local economy. Just think...with all of the traveling the White House is doing... One can only imagine what else we are paying for.
On Friday [we] got out to the airport about 10:45am. The groups that wanted to protest Obama's spending and healthcare had gotten a permit to protest and that area was roped off. But that was not to be. A large bus carrying SEIU (Service Employees International Union) members drove up onto the area (illegal) and unloaded right there. It was quite a commotion and there were specifically 2 SEIU men trying to make trouble and start a fight. Police did get involved and arrested the one man, but they said they did not have the manpower to remove the SEIU crowd. The SEIU crowd was very organized and young. About 99% were under the age of 30 and they were not locals! They had bullhorns and professionally made signs... (BTW, all these folks did have a permit to> protest in another area.)
Those against healthcare/spending moved away from the SEIU crowd to avoid confrontation. They were orderly and respectful. Even though SEIU kept coming over and walking through, continuing to be very intimidating and aggressive at the direction of the one SEIU man. So we had Montana folks from all over the state with their homemade signs and their dogs with homemade signs. We had cowboys, nurses, doctors you name it... all of the major networks were over by that remote hangar I mentioned. They were conveniently parked on the other side of the buildings far away. None of these crowds were even visible to them. I have my doubts that they knew anything about the crowds.
We did have some local news media around us from this state and Idaho . Speaking of the local media...they were invited. However, all questions were to be turned in to the White House in advance of the event. Wouldn't want anyone to have to think off the top of their head. It was very obvious that it was meant to be totally controlled by the White House. Everything was orchestrated down to the last detail to make it appear that Montana is just crazy for Obama and government healthcare. Even those people that talked about their insurance woes... the White House called our local HRDC (Human Resource and Development Committee) and asked for names. Then the White House asked those folks to come. Smoke and mirrors...everything was staged!
I am very dismayed about what I learned about our current White House. The amount of control and manipulation was unbelievable. I felt I was not living in the United States of America , more like the USSR ! I was physically nauseous. [We] have been around when Presidents or Heads of State visit. It has never been like this. I am truly very frightened for our country. America needs your prayers and your voices. If you care about our country please get involved. Know the issues. And let Congress hear your voices again and again! If they are willing to put forth so much effort to bully a small town one can only imagine what is going on in Washington DC. Scary!
Interestingly, there was also an SEIU guy supervising the bus unloadings at the Portsmouth NH town meeting. You can see him in some of the videos. They were not as aggressive as described here, but Portsmouth was a more high-visibility event and there was lots of media around. Interesting to hear about what goes on when they think no one is watching.

Maybe It Is Still America, After All
Well, the officer may be in hot water.
From World Net Daily:
No Joker! Officer probed for saying America 'no more'Read the entire article HERE.
Public demands firing, school officials decline to confirm he's 'on staff and on duty'
A school security officer in Virginia who told a protester opposing President Obama's health-care plan that America is "no more" remains employed but is now under investigation because of his statements, according to his school district.
"I have to say, I've seen the video. We do not condone what the officer did say," Paul Regnier, the coordinator of communications and community relations for Fairfax County Public Schools told WND today.
[...]
The video, which had surpassed 450,000 views, also attracted more than 6,000 comments, including one that clearly implied racial overtones to the officer's opposition to the poster.
"If it had been a Sarah Palin rally and the cop had been white, he would be on his way to federal prison for civil rights violation," said a YouTube forum participant.
Regnier told WND the district would not comment on personnel issues. He did confirm the congressman's event had been under a rental arrangement on school property and the officer was there as part of a school assignment.
But he also confirmed that whatever sign rules the school normally would impose would not have been in effect since the facility had been rented for the congressman's meeting.
"We are looking into this and will take appropriate action," he assured WND.
But he said that because of the personnel issues involved, no information would be released.
Asked to confirm that Cheeks still is on staff and on duty, Regnier declined.
"He is still an employee," he said....
The wheels of the human resources department in the Fairfax County Public Schools move slowly — and in secret until the decision comes down.
Time will tell the tale on Security Officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr.

If They Pull Out A Knife, Pull Out a Gun, If they Pull out Their Finger, Bite It Off

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – California authorities say a clash between opponents and supporters of health care reform ended with one man biting off another man's finger.
Ventura County Sheriff's Capt. Frank O'Hanlon says about 100 people demonstrating in favor of health care reforms rallied Wednesday night on a street corner. One protester walked across the street to confront about 25 counter-demonstrators.
O'Hanlon says the man got into an argument and fist fight, during which he bit off the left pinky of a 65-year-old man who opposed health care reform.
A hospital spokeswoman says the man lost half the finger, but doctors reattached it and he was sent home the same night.
O'Hanlon says the attacker fled but authorities have a good description.
More Hope & Change--

His supporters responded.
Obama to His Followers: "Get in Their Faces!"
Obama on ACORN Mobs: "I don't want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I'm angry!"
Obama To His Mercenary Army: “Hit Back Twice As Hard”
A MoveOn.org protester marched through a group of anti-Obamacare protesters in California last night. He then bit off a 65 year-old man's finger!
It was bitten off.
KTLA reported:A 65 year old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.
Let's hope there's video.
Sheriff's investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.
About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.
A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.
The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker's pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles.
The man took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment.
Did anyone else notice how they defined the groups as "pro-reform" and "anti-reform"?
Hat Tip K. Walsh & Donna
MORE... Here's an eyewitness account from supporter Drumsnwhistles:The man in the orange shirt hit the pro-reform guy (I’m going to call him PR Guy just to keep the players straight). Hard. ( tweeted in real time) He punched him in the face, knocked him to the ground and into that thruway. As you can see from the photo, cars drive straight through that without stopping. The pro-reform guy could have been run over. He got up, tried to get back up on the curb, but Orange Shirt guy was in his face. Finger in his face, PR Guy standing, steps up to the curb, and there’s a scuffle. Orange shirt seemed to have PR Guy in a hold, but again, I was across the street, so won’t state that as absolute fact. Next thing I see is PR Guy’s hat being tossed into the street, both yelling at one another, then Orange shirt walks away, PR Guy picks up hat and crosses to our side.
How gross.
When he gets to our side, he tells a story in one sentence: “He punched me hard, straight in the face, so I bit his finger off.”
I would have loved to see the reaction on their faces when he told them that.
The loons probably cheered him.

"It Ain't [America] No More, OK?"
If the following video, taken at the August 25, 2009 town hall with U.S. House Representative James Moran and Howard Dean at South Lakes High School in Northern Virginia, doesn't make your blood boil, what does? Please note that Wesley Cheeks, Jr., is not a Fairfax County Police officer; his paycheck is funded by the local taxpayers, however.
The unedited text from the YouTube posting (emphases mine):
This video was taken on Tuesday, August 25th, 2009, at Rep. Jim Moran's (D-VA) Town Hall meeting on Obama Deathcare (Howie Dean was there too) held at South Lakes High School in Reston, VA.Comments to the posting already number well over 1000.
Many people were left outside when the school filled to capacity. School security officer Wesley Cheeks, Jr. did not like my anti-Obamacare poster which used one of the gone-viral "Joker" graphics.
When I said to Officer Cheeks, "This used to be America!" his response was: "It ain't no more, OK?"
I feel sorry for Officer Cheeks. He, like many African-Americans are being played by the racist Obama administration. Wake up people. They used to want you only for your votes, but now with the huge hispanic illegals pouring in they won't even need you for that. Watch those inner city abortion clinics get stimulated though. Democrat and church leaders sure seem to have time and money to build those.
Google "margaret sangar black children eugenics" (no quotes) and find out what's REALLY behind those Democrat abortuariums run by Planned Parenthood. Democrat eugenicists like Rahm Emanuel and his brother Zeke "Dr. Mengele" Emanuel and John Holdren and George Soros and Mr. Abortion himself, Barack Obama can't kill enough black babies. The ovens are fired up. Wake up people.
Satan is in da house.
Over at Gateway Pundit's posting, I noted the following comment:
I don't think we're Republicans and Democrats any longer. Now we can be divided up between people who believe in free speech and those who don't.Yes, this choice is the point to which BHO and this Democratic Congress have brought us.

August 25: Town Hall Meeting In Northern Virginia
Radio Free Dar Al Harb has more. One brief excerpt from the text of the posting:
...[W]e had sign with Obama as Joker, thank you DissentFromDayOne. We were told by a black Fairfax County School Security officer that we would have to keep the sign face down on the lawn or be thrown off for trespassing. So we took it directly to the a FXPD Captain and asked about the legality of this. Shame on us for not knowing the law, but now we know to do some research. The FXPD Captain didn't want to get in the middle of it, said there were different rules for schools. So, look for more events to take place at schools where the crowd can be more restricted in their free speech. Since no one could give us a straight answer, we applied the constitution and continued to hold the sign high for all the crowd to see....Read and watch the rest at Radio Free Dar Al Harb.

Arizona Will Miss You, Mr. Frommer -- But Their Aim is Improving
Travel Icon Says He'll Avoid Arizona Because of Gun Laws
PHOENIX — Well-known travel icon Arthur Frommer said he'll avoid visiting Arizona because state laws permit "thugs" and "extremists" to openly tote guns.
Frommer, the author of budget-travel guides, said on his blog Wednesday that he was "shocked beyond measure" by reports that protesters openly carried guns and rifles outside a Phoenix building where President Barack Obama spoke on Monday.
As a result, Frommer said he won't be spending his tourism dollars at the Grand Canyon, or anywhere else in Arizona, because he doesn't want to travel in a state where civilians carry loaded weapons as a means of political protest.
"I will cancel any plans to vacation or otherwise visit in Arizona until I learn more," Frommer wrote. "And I will begin thinking about whether tourists should safeguard themselves by avoiding stays in Arizona."
Phoenix Mayor Phil Gordon says he spoke with Frommer on Thursday and invited him to visit the city to clear up any possible misconceptions about safety.
Show up carrying, Phil. And remind the bastard that his sorry a$$ will be safe as long as he's with you.
Oh, and Arthur -- better skip Philadelphia while you're at it. That's where those "extremists" voted to establish the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. Or have you never in your travels encountered people exercising that part of the Bill of Rights?

Exactly How Are Dissed, Disdained Citizens And Taxpayers Supposed To React?
According to this at Politico:
Palin's comments, posted on her Facebook page, come after weeks of raucous town halls in which conservatives have shouted down members of Congress.Let's think about Palin's statement for a minute. Common folk are going to town halls and have one chance to have a face-to-face with their so-called "elected public servants." And those public servants are lying to and dissing the very people who pay their salaries after voting these "public servants" into office. These common folk, many of them looking to the so-called "experts" for answers, come, for the most part, respectful of the office and perhaps even a bit intimidated by the "experts," many of whom are lawyers or, at the least, have many years in public office. Then the common folk learn that these relied-upon "experts" don't have answers and/or are spouting the BHO party line.
"There are many disturbing details in the current bill that Washington is trying to rush through Congress, but we must stick to a discussion of the issues and not get sidetracked by tactics that can be accused of leading to intimidation or harassment," Palin wrote. "Such tactics diminish our nation’s civil discourse which we need now more than ever because the fine print in this outrageous health care proposal must be understood clearly and not get lost in conscientious voters’ passion to want to make elected officials hear what we are saying. Let’s not give the proponents of nationalized health care any reason to criticize us."
Analogy: I recently bought a new car. The first dealer I visited for over three hours lied to me as to the trade-in amount for my clunker (the manager saying "$3500" when the government web site clearly stated $4500). We cut a tentative deal at $11,000, and when I returned to that car dealer later in the day with my checkbook in hand and the printout from the government web site, I got all sorts of run-around and a new price of $14,000.
So what did I do? Kick the furniture around? Start yelling? No. I went to another car dealer and yet another until I found one willing to strike a deal with me. I wasn't trapped, I had options.
But what if there had been no other car dealer to go to? I think that my reaction would have been much like the common folk at the town halls. I certainly wouldn't have left quietly as I really needed a new car.
In a sense, these common folk at the town halls are trapped. They have only one dealer with which to strike a deal, that dealer being their so-called "public servant" of the moment. And the common folk are seeing so-called "public servant" after so-called "public servant" acting the ass and lying.
These so-called "public servants" deserve to be hooted at, yelled at, and laughed at. They've earned such reactions. They also need to be voted out of office - perhaps even recalled from office before their current term has ended.
In my view, Sarah Palin is coming off like some kind of elitist with her statement about telling the common folk to tone down their anger. Furthermore, the people - the common folk, untrained in public relations and policy debate, which training all these politicians have - are showing anger in the face of disdain and lies, and are responding in the tradition of the Spirit of 1776.
It is the so-called "public servants" who have turned public discourse into a farce. They deserve the reaction they are getting from the people.

Dissenters Are "Political Terrorists"

According to business columnist Steven Pearlstein, who wrote the following August 7, 2009 essay in the Washington Post:
Republicans Propagating Falsehoods in Attacks on Health-Care ReformAs one who always reads Pearlstein's columns, which typically often sound financial advice, I have to say that I'm astounded as the position he has taken in this essay.
As a columnist who regularly dishes out sharp criticism, I try not to question the motives of people with whom I don't agree. Today, I'm going to step over that line.
The recent attacks by Republican leaders and their ideological fellow-travelers on the effort to reform the health-care system have been so misleading, so disingenuous, that they could only spring from a cynical effort to gain partisan political advantage. By poisoning the political well, they've given up any pretense of being the loyal opposition. They've become political terrorists, willing to say or do anything to prevent the country from reaching a consensus on one of its most serious domestic problems.
[...]
Health reform is a test of whether this country can function once again as a civil society -- whether we can trust ourselves to embrace the big, important changes that require everyone to give up something in order to make everyone better off. Republican leaders are eager to see us fail that test. We need to show them that no matter how many lies they tell or how many scare tactics they concoct, Americans will come together and get this done.
If health reform is to be anyone's Waterloo, let it be theirs.
Those with concerns about ObamaCare are "political terrorists"? Perhaps Pearlstein is a covert disciple of Cass Suntein and Zephyr Teachout....
