I'll Believe This Is a Communist Revolution When Texas Freezes Over

From the Vlad Tepes Blog:

Much like there are many many deaths resulting from Wuhan Flu policies, there are going to be many deaths from Global Warming policies. The one in Texas appears to be from frozen, Chinese wind turbines.

Wuhan Lab to Receive US Taxpayer Funding to Conduct Bat Research Until 2024?

Wuhan Lab to Receive US Taxpayer Funding to Conduct Bat Research Until 2024?
The Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) is eligible to receive U.S. taxpayer funding to conduct animal research until January 2024, the National Institute of Health said.
The lab that is at the centre of widespread speculation that the deadly coronavirus entered the human population in China following an accidental lab leak. Researchers at the lab were studying bat-based coronaviruses before the outbreak, research that was backed by $600,000 in U.S. taxpayer funds that were routed to the lab through EcoHealth Alliance – a nongovernmental research group that focuses on emerging diseases caused by human and animal interactions.
The president of EcoHealth Alliance, Peter Daszak, was the only American member of the World Health Organization (WHO) delegation that investigated the origins of the COVID-19 pandemic in China in January and this month.
While the delegation is yet to release a report on its findings, Daszak said the White House should accept their conclusion that it was “extremely unlikely” the virus could have leaked from the Wuhan lab.

35 Capitol Police Officers Under Investigation, 6 Suspended for Letting Protesters inside US Capitol — The Same Protesters Who Were Later Arrested for Entering US Capitol

A spokesperson for the U.S. Capitol Police has confirmed to FOX 5 that the Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating the actions of 35 police officers on Jan. 6, the day of the riot at the Capitol, and suspended six officers with pay.
The statement from the department reads. “Our Office of Professional Responsibility is investigating the actions of 35 police officers from that day. We currently have suspended six of those officers with pay.
Acting Chief Yogananda Pittman has directed that any member of her department whose behavior is not in keeping with the Department’s Rules of Conduct will face appropriate discipline.”
Viral videos of some Capitol Police officers raise questions about their actions during the riot. Some officers are seen standing along a doorway almost motionless as people file into the Capitol.

At least two accused rioters have told the FBI a Capitol Police officer told them, “It’s your house now.” Lawmakers have stated that one officer suspended took a selfie with someone and another was seen wearing a MAGA hat.
In a video, that officer wearing the hat asks two men if they can help him get through the crowd to help other officers inside the Capitol.
The officer hands one of the men his megaphone and says, “I’ll follow you.”
The video was taken by Rico La Starza who says he was visiting D.C. and went to the Capitol and started filming when he saw what was happening…
…More than 250 people have been charged so far in connection with the riot, and investigators say they’re still looking potentially for hundreds more.

Now maybe we can begin to understand why Capitol Police Officers committed suicide, in the wake of the Capitol Riot.

We also know why Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund resigned following the Riot:

AND THEN THERE'S THIS:

Dinesh D'Souza did a podcast pointing out Nancy Pelosi's very peculiar behavior regarding events at the Capitol in the days leading up to January 6. In the five weeks since then, Pelosi has turned Washington, D.C. into an armed, walled city and is working with the White House to crack down on dissenting views -- meaning, any views that run counter to the Democrat party narrative.
There's something weirdly un-American about what we're seeing now...
D'Souza points out something we've all noticed, which is that, on January 6, many of the people peacefully walked and gawked through the Capitol after having been invited in -- and treated respectfully -- by the relatively small number of Capitol police officers on duty.
If you've ever visited the Capitol in the past, you know that's not how it ordinarily works...
In case you're wondering, this is how totalitarian dictatorships operate. Free speech is out; increasingly brutal suppression is in. And speaking of increasing brutality, there's the fact that the Democrats have used the events of January 7 to turn Washington, D.C., into a security fortress of the type any tyrant would love...
One could say that Pelosi was Machiavellian enough to position matters in advance of January 6 to create a trap for Trump and his supporters. Equally, one could say she simply elevated a stupid, drab, depressing event into a crisis so that she could refrain from letting it go to waste. No matter the viewpoint, the fact remains that January 6 was the best thing that ever happened to a political party anxious to jettison the Constitution and achieve total control over America.

Revealed: Grinning Idiot and Partisan Hack Troll Anthony Fauci Used to Lurk in Gay Bathhouses, Conducting an "Undercover" Investigation Into Gay Sexual Practices

On the February 4 episode of National Public Radios "Fresh Air" program, Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has led the NIAID since 1984, admitted to frequenting gay bars and bath houses in the 1980s, so he could gain a better scientific understanding of how HIV and AIDS spread among the homosexual population.
In the radio program, Fauci admitted that the federal government did not listen to the concerns of gay activists in the 1980s, who felt the government was not listening to their concerns about a new disease that scientists knew virtually nothing about and spread through the gay community like wildfire.
In response, Fauci said he asked himself, "Let me put myself in their shoes. If I were in their position, what would I be doing?"
To gain a direct and personal understanding of the sexual habits of gay men in the 1980s, Fauci then began visiting gay bars and bath houses in a sort of undercover role. ..
The revelation that gay men were visiting gay bath houses for the purpose of anonymous, often unprotected sex with other men provoked many cities and states to ban gay bath houses.
Gay activists, both at the time and still today, considered this a civil rights violation. ... Fauci was famously lambasted by conservatives in April of last year, when he recommended that sports, schools, businesses, and other necessities of life immediately cease operations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, but also gave his support to individuals using hookup apps like Tinder and its LGBT-exclusive counterpart Grindr to have casual sex.
Fauci further said: "I went to the Castro District. I went down to Greenwich Village, and I went into bathhouses to essentially see what was going on."
See, he didn't know what went on in gay bathhouses, without personally inspecting them.
By the way, Fauci went on to blame the spread of AIDS on conservatives: He noted that then-President Ronald Reagan and his religious right supporters made HIV and AIDS research a lot harder, but he doesnt think Reagan personally hated gay people.
"I believe, because of a large part of his constituency was that way, what he did not do is he did not use the bully pulpit of the presidency to gain support and attention to what was going on right in front of everyones eyes," Fauci said.

New York Assembly Republicans Start Impeachment Process Against Governor Cuomo

On Thursday, Assembly Republicans announced a resolution to create an impeachment commission consisting of eight bipartisan members of the legislature. The panel would have 60 days to conduct its work and submit its findings and recommendations to the state legislature.
“The Cuomo Administration’s nursing home cover-up is one of the most alarming scandals we’ve seen in state government,” Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay said in a statement.
“It is incumbent upon the Legislature to undertake a comprehensive, bipartisan review of the Cuomo Administration’s policies, decisions and actions on this matter and render a decision on what steps must be taken to hold the governor accountable.”
The FBI and US Attorney in Brooklyn are reportedly investigating Governor Cuomo’s handling of nursing homes amid the Covid pandemic. Thousands of nursing home residents in New York died because of Andrew Cuomo’s edict ordering Covid patients back into the nursing homes.
Last Thursday an audio was leaked of New York Governor Cuomo’s top aide apologizing to Democrat lawmakers for intentionally withholding the state’s COVID nursing home death toll from them.
During a press conference on Monday, Cuomo blamed ‘conspiracy theories’ and ‘misinformation’ and said the nursing home scandal is a “political spin” while he threw healthcare workers under the bus.

BOOM! Poland Will Fine Big Tech $13.5 Million Per Case For Removing Ideological Content: “Poland spent 45 years under Communism…It taught us the value of free speech”

Speaking to Fox News, the architect of the law, Deputy Polish Justice Minister Sebastian Kaleta, said social media companies have for too long been targeting conservatives, Christianity, and traditional values by banning them and removing posts and the Polish government is saying “enough!”
“We see that when Big Tech decides to remove content for political purposes, it’s mostly content which praises traditional values or praises conservatism,” he said, “and it is deleted under their ‘hate speech policy’ when it has no legal right to do so.”
After identifying the problem, it is the financially costly solution that might end up making this so effective: Under the new legislation, any platform that bans a user would face fines of $13.5 million unless the content is also illegal under Polish law. An arbitration committee would be set up to oversee disputes.
Tech companies had reached a point where they were deciding what was legal and what was not –, but that was not their role, Kaleta says. “Freedom of speech is not something that anonymous moderators working for private companies should decide,” he said.
“Instead, that is for the national body; duly elected officials and all industries, car, phones, finance — were unregulated till they grew too large — the same should happen with Big Tech.”
He added that the removal of former U.S. President Donald Trump from social media platforms was just another example of Big Tech overreach and set a dangerous precedent. “It’s very disturbing because if Big Tech sees themselves as an organization empowered enough to ban a sitting president of the U.S., it sends a message to the world –that we can ban anyone, whenever we want,” he added. Doesn’t this sound like what you’d expect an American politician to say and do?
Yet, they have done nothing. President Trump had four years to address this issue and did nothing until very late. This is very likely because no one in the GOP was willing to address the issue. They are all afraid or in the pockets of big tech. People like Ted Cruz talk a big game, but nothing ever happens. If we do not do something quickly, we will end up in the same position Poland was in in the mid-century 1900s:
Poland spent 45 years under communism, and Kaleta says that experience has taught it the value of free speech and that when the country sees these disturbing new trends toward censorship, the red light goes on.

Media Silence After Biden Removes Petitioning From White House Website

Media Silence After Biden Removes Petitioning From White House Website
It appears that the ‘We the People’ petition system has been taken off the White House website. Here is an archive of what it looked like before Biden took office.
The system has been around for many years. At any given time, hundreds of petitions were active. If you get 100,000 signatures, the White House is supposed to give an answer.
You may remember that there was an active “Free Assange” petition that the Obama Administration was obligated to answer (and gave a bad answer).
When Trump took office, he briefly discontinued it but put it back up after a media uproar.
Now it appears the Biden White House has removed it.
The website used to be here: https://petitions.whitehouse.gov
This URL, as well as URLs for all currently-active petitions, just forward to the White House front page. I explored the website and could not find any mention of it. The link used to appear in both the “Contact” and “Get Involved” links, but it is gone from both.
I have seen nothing about this in the media. When I Google “White House Petition System Down” and other similar searches, I only get 4-year-old articles about the time that Trump temporarily disabled it.
A great comment from Revere Rides Again:

Biden crime family: We don't need no stinkin' petition system. (Please translate into Mandarin.) Haven't you figured out we don't care what you want? Put your mask back on and shut up.
