All you have to do is go to SendMeRSS.com and type in your email address and then copy and paste the address for the RSS feed of the Infidel Bloggers Alliance, which is:
http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/VloV
That's it.
If you've ever wondered what the hell an RSS feed is, this is a good article about it: What Is RSS?

Great idea! I'll give this a try.
Thanks CW.
Two questions:
1) do we get sitemeter credit for those viewings?
2) if not, how do we account for the number of readers we get through RSS feed?
I don't know why I care. It's not like we're trying to make money here.
ROTFL
That's a great question, Pastorius. If you created an email newsletter signup through Feedburner, you would not only get statistics on how many people were subscribed, you'd actually have their email addresses too, which would allow you to do special announcements or whatever.
Go to Feedburner and under the Publicize tab, you will find Email Subscriptions. Get the code there for a little email signup box and paste it into a sidebar widget (page element, gadget, whatever you want to call it). It would be better to do it in a way that got statistics. Statistics are motivating.
How many RSS subscribers to we have?
Sorry, C-Dub. No can do. That would actually involve my thinking through a technical process logically.
Pastorius, you give up on yourself too easily. With a small improvement in your explanatory style, you would and could rise to the occasion!
You recommended that book "Learned Optimism" once before.
I thought to myself, I need to get that book, and then I forgot about it.
I'll make that a part of my day today.
That would be a good book for all of us Defenders of Freedom to read. This is a long fight, full of setbacks (and triumphs, of course). But Learned Optimism is about how to deal with setbacks so they no longer make you feel demoralized or defeated. The author and a huge number of other scientists have done lots of research on exactly what causes people to give up, and what can be done about it.
In how many ways do we give up? When we try to persuade someone and they seem to close their minds; when we try to do something but it seems too difficult; when we try to make it possible for people to subscribe to our blog via email but give up because it's too difficult ;). What if we DIDN'T give up?
Learned Optimism should be required reading for all of us Defenders. It would give us an edge over the enemy. THEY'LL never read it. It would give us the advantage of resilient, unstoppable mental strength and leave them without it. We can then demoralize and utterly defeat the Islamic Military.
When someone reads that and thinks, "It can't be done," they have already given up. Read this book before you give up.
You're so cool.
I totally agree with you, and I appreciate you reminding me of this important truth. It's something I know deep down, but I still find myself using the language of defeat (often, just as humor, but then it bleeds over into my real thinking as well).
