Astoundingly, the newly declassified report states that for “THE WEST, GULF COUNTRIES, AND TURKEY [WHO] SUPPORT THE [SYRIAN] OPPOSITION… THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF ESTABLISHING A DECLARED OR UNDECLARED SALAFIST PRINCIPALITY IN EASTERN SYRIA (HASAKA AND DER ZOR), AND THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE SUPPORTING POWERS TO THE OPPOSITION WANT, IN ORDER TO ISOLATE THE SYRIAN REGIME…”.

The document shows that as early as 2012, U.S. intelligence predicted the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS), but instead of clearly delineating the group as an enemy, the report envisions the terror group as a U.S. strategic asset.

While a number of analysts and journalists have documented long ago the role of western intelligence agencies in the formation and training of the armed opposition in Syria, this is the highest level internal U.S. intelligence confirmation of the theory that western governments fundamentally see ISIS as their own tool for regime change in Syria. This Friday on the Gathering Storm Radio Show, AOW and I will be discussing an article that appeared in August of 2005 in the German magazine SPIEGEL.

Note the date.

Though we will be discussing the article on the show – and we hope you will call in to join the discussion since this is an important topic – I would like to make a few comments before the discussion.

The ‘Plan’ discussed in the article has 7 phases.  Briefly they are:

The First Phase Known as "the awakening" -- this has already been carried out and was supposed to have lasted from 2000 to 2003, or more precisely from the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 in New York and Washington to the fall of Baghdad in 2003.

The Second Phase "Opening Eyes" is, according to Hussein's definition, the period we are now in and should last until 2006.

The Third Phase This is described as "Arising and Standing Up" and should last from 2007 to 2010.

The Fourth Phase Between 2010 and 2013, Hussein writes that al-Qaida will aim to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments.

The Fifth Phase This will be the point at which an Islamic state, or caliphate, can be declared.

The Sixth Phase Hussein believes that from 2016 onwards there will be a period of "total confrontation." As soon as the caliphate has been declared the "Islamic army" it will instigate the "fight between the believers and the non-believers" which has so often been predicted by Osama bin Laden.

The Seventh Phase This final stage is described as "definitive victory."

To believe the plan, the newly established caliphate and its Islamic Army have arrived. We are in the beginning of Phase 6.

But what of Phase 7? Is it possible for the Islamists to win? The author says:

“The idea that al-Qaida could set up a caliphate in the entire Islamic world is absurd. The 20-year plan is based mainly on religious ideas. It hardly has anything to do with reality -- especially phases four to seven.”

Perhaps the author would revise his article today now that it seems Phases 1-6 have come about. But how many millions – even hundreds of millions – will perish before this virulent is eradicated from civilized society?

Common sense tells us that even with nukes, the caliphate will lose – and lose horribly – in the long run for they make one mistake. They believe that the current appeasement and confusion of the Leftist governments in the free world will continue on their path of ignoring the cancer metastasizing around them and just roll over and give up like leftists always do when challenged.

The Islamist, like their leftist counterparts, ignore or are ignorant of history. A free people will take only so much and then rebel against the madness and incompetence of their Leftist leaders.

History proves this to be true if a free nation stays free. Of course that’s the stickler. Will the free world love their freedom enough to throw out the leftist leadership and stand up for their freedoms?

I hope we prove the Islamists wrong.

Suspected Boko Haram bombers killed at least 54 people and wounded 143 in a series of bloody suicide attacks Saturday in Maiduguri, Nigeria. 

The blasts occurred over four hours in locations from a busy fish market to a crowded bus station in the city, which is located in the northeast region of the country, Police Commissioner Element Adoda said. 

Witnesses reported scenes of gore with mangled bodies and injured victims lying on the ground. Maiduguri is the birthplace of the Islamic extremist group. The Nigerian military drove Boko Haram out of the city last year. 

The deadliest blast occurred at the bustling Baga fish market, where at least 18 people were killed after a suicide bomber blew himself up in a rickshaw taxi near the entrance. 

“I saw many dead bodies lying on the ground, many dead, and several others badly injured,” fish seller Idi Idrisa said.

Some experts say that the pledge, or “bayat,” made by the leader of Boko Haram is a spiritually binding oath, which indicates that the Nigerian Islamist group has agreed to accept the authority of the Islamic State. 

But as with similar pledges to the Islamic State, also known as ISIS or ISIL, by other extremist groups, there are few details about how much direct control the Islamic State leaders have over their distant proxies. 

If confirmed, the agreement with Boko Haram would mirror the steps taken by Islamic State affiliates in Libya, Algeria, Egypt, Afghanistan and beyond. 

In each case, a group’s leaders swore allegiance in a public message posted online. Weeks later, the oath was formally accepted by the Islamic State, in a statement issued by the group’s spokesman. 

“It’s quite clear that since at least mid-January, the Islamic State has had some level of connection with Boko Haram,” said Aaron Y. Zelin, a fellow at the Washington Institute who tracks propaganda by Islamic extremists. 

“The key question is whether the Islamic State dispatched individuals from Syria or Iraq, or else from Libya, down to northern Nigeria to help out with operations on the ground, or else with methodology, or in terms of governance activities.” 

Boko Haram has an estimated 6,000 fighters and at least some level of control over approximately 20,000 square kilometers of northeastern Nigeria, according to Ryan Cummings, chief Africa analyst for red24, a crisis management group based in Britain, who has been following the group since 2011.

Allegedly, Christian children in Mosul are being systematically beheaded and their little heads placed on poles in a park as a warning to others who love their children.

Islamists killing a woman by slitting her throat and capturing her blood in a bowl, holding her firm as her life literally drains from her neck. Such forms of execution are intended to intimidate others.

The Irresponsible Obama Administration

The word "irresponsible" doesn't begin to describe the Obama regime.

WASHINGTON — Like the rest of the world, the U.S. government appeared to have been taken aback last month when Mosul, Iraq’s second largest city, fell to an offensive by jihadis of the Islamic State that triggered the collapse of five Iraqi army divisions and carried the extremists to the threshold of Baghdad.

A review of the record shows, however, that the Obama administration wasn’t surprised at all.

In congressional testimony as far back as November, U.S. diplomats and intelligence officials made clear that the United States had been closely tracking the al Qaida spinoff since 2012, when it enlarged its operations from Iraq to civil war-torn Syria, seized an oil-rich province there and signed up thousands of foreign fighters who’d infiltrated Syria through NATO ally Turkey.

The testimony, which received little news media attention at the time, also showed that Obama administration officials were well aware of the group’s declared intention to turn its Syrian sanctuary into a springboard from which it would send men and materiel back into Iraq and unleash waves of suicide bombings there. And they knew that the Iraqi security forces couldn’t handle it.

Journalist Fouad Hussein Called It In 2005, His Prediction About the Course of Jihad Eerily Predict Today's Events

Fouad Hussein spent time in prison with al-Zarqawi. He seems to have understood the strategy of Al Qaeda and the Grand Jihad.

Events this weekend reminded me of this from 2005:

The aim of the attacks of 9/11 was to provoke the US into declaring war on the Islamic world and thereby "awakening" Muslims. "The first phase was judged by the strategists and masterminds behind al-Qaida as very successful," writes Hussein. "The battle field was opened up and the Americans and their allies became a closer and easier target." The terrorist network is also reported as being satisfied that its message can now be heard "everywhere."

The Second Phase "Opening Eyes" is, according to Hussein's definition, the period we are now in and should last until 2006. Hussein says the terrorists hope to make the western conspiracy aware of the "Islamic community." Hussein believes this is a phase in which al-Qaida wants an organization to develop into a movement. The network is banking on recruiting young men during this period. Iraq should become the center for all global operations, with an "army" set up there and bases established in other Arabic states.

The Third Phase This is described as "Arising and Standing Up" and should last from 2007 to 2010. "There will be a focus on Syria," prophesies Hussein, based on what his sources told him. The fighting cadres are supposedly already prepared and some are in Iraq. Attacks on Turkey and -- even more explosive -- in Israel are predicted. Al-Qaida's masterminds hope that attacks on Israel will help the terrorist group become a recognized organization. The author also believes that countries neighboring Iraq, such as Jordan, are also in danger.

The Fourth Phase Between 2010 and 2013, Hussein writes that al-Qaida will aim to bring about the collapse of the hated Arabic governments. The estimate is that "the creeping loss of the regimes' power will lead to a steady growth in strength within al-Qaida." At the same time attacks will be carried out against oil suppliers and the US economy will be targeted using cyber terrorism.

The Fifth Phase This will be the point at which an Islamic state, or caliphate, can be declared. The plan is that by this time, between 2013 and 2016, Western influence in the Islamic world will be so reduced and Israel weakened so much, that resistance will not be feared. Al-Qaida hopes that by then the Islamic state will be able to bring about a new world order.

The Sixth Phase Hussein believes that from 2016 onwards there will a period of "total confrontation." As soon as the caliphate has been declared the "Islamic army" it will instigate the "fight between the believers and the non-believers" which has so often been predicted by Osama bin Laden.

The Seventh Phase This final stage is described as "definitive victory." Hussein writes that in the terrorists' eyes, because the rest of the world will be so beaten down by the "one-and-a-half billion Muslims," the caliphate will undoubtedly succeed. This phase should be completed by 2020, although the war shouldn't last longer than two years.

In the same article der Spiegel wrote "The supposed master plan for the years 2000 to 2020 reads in parts more like a group of ideas cobbled together in retrospect, than something planned and presented in advance. And not to mention the terrorist agenda is simply unworkable: the idea that al-Qaida could set up a caliphate in the entire Islamic world is absurd. ISIS Declares Itself Caliphate, Changes Name To “IS” --- Calls On Al Qaeda To Join Them, Declares “International Jihad”

ISIS jihadists have declared the captured territories from Iraq’s Diyala province to Syria’s Aleppo a new Islamic State – a ‘caliphate.’ 

They removed ‘Iraq and the Levant’ from their name and urged other radical Sunni groups to pledge their allegiance. ISIS announced that it should now be called ‘The Islamic State’ and declared its chief, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, as “the caliph” of the new state and “leader for Muslims everywhere,” the radical Sunni militant group said in an audio recording distributed online on Sunday. 

This is the first time since the fall of the Ottoman Empire in 1923 that a Caliph – which means a political successor to Prophet Muhammad – has been declared. 

The decision was made following the group’s Shura Council meeting on Sunday, according to ISIS spokesman Abu Mohammed al-Adnani.

The jihadist group has also claimed that they are now a legitimate state. 

The Islamic State has called on Al-Qaeda and other radical Sunni militants in the region to immediately pledge their allegiance, ushering in “a new era of international jihad.”

Islam respects The Strong Man, and Obama has clearly indicated that he is not A Strong Man.

Clearly, the caliphate establishers are winning. 

How long before we face another 9/11 here on our soil?

Not to worry, though. Obama says (June 11, 2014), and his supporters nod their heads in agreement:

I find it impossible to believe that nobody in the Obama administration did not consider the consequences of supporting the Arab Spring.

Now What?

If it is definitely proven that the very ideology of Islam (caliphate, jihad, shari'a) is inherently violent, where does the West go from there? Ibrahim Hooper states in this essay:

The West, alarmingly, does not have a political history or language to justify an offensive against an ideological foe....

Now that Americans are becoming familiar with the perpetual and determined nature of its enemy — jihad, sharia, and the caliphate have a 1400-year legacy — who will take it to the next level by, not just highlighting the threat, but openly and boldly suggesting what steps the West needs to take to combat it, now and for the long haul? Where do you go from there?

We can speak the truth until our faces turn blue, but all that speaking is not action to curb the rise of the caliphate and shari'a law.

If all the present turmoil in the Middle East serves to establish some sort of caliphate, what will the West have to do to survive?

Mr. Ibrahim rightly points out in his essay:

A caliphate represents a permanent, ideological enemy, not a temporal enemy that can be bought or pacified through diplomacy or concessions -- economic or otherwise....

A caliphate is precisely what Islamists around the world are feverishly seeking to establish — before people realize what it represents and try to prevent it. Without active, preemptive measures, it is only a matter of time before they succeed....

Everything that I can think of to counter such a caliphate are Draconian solutions. Perhaps others here at IBA have more optimistic ideas on this topic.

- condemns the terror and assassination approach of the enemies of Islam and Iran

- puts emphasis on Iran's full nuclear rights

- gives full support for the government's policy of "resistance against the bullying powers' pressure" and

- stresses that nothing can weaken the will of the nation, scientists and the elites in trying to secure a glorious future for the proud Iran.

8- Iran's wise and vigilant nation deeply believes that division is the worst plague to the Islamic revolution. The nation believes that management of differences and avoiding provocative speech and behavior are inevitable duty for Iranian perseverant officials and this is the thing that the wise leader of the Islamic revolution is seeking. The nation also invites people and the Iranian perseverant officials to strengthen national unity.

9- The noble and honorable Iranian nation thanks the three branches of power, especially the government for their efforts. The nation believes that the accurate and precise implementation of the Targeted Subsidies plan is a huge step forward to fulfill social justice. People's cooperation with the government and special efforts to stop the opportunists from misusing the situation are two most effective ways that contribute to the correct implementation of this vital legislation. This way, the results of the "Targeted Subsidies" plan would be perceptible by different walks of life.

10- Victory of the revolution, establishment of the sacred Islamic Republic system and gaining dignity, credit, independence and freedom are all owed to the pure blood of the great martyrs as well as the admirable patience and consistency of the martyrs' families. The Iranian Muslim nation considers respect and appreciation toward those great families as an important obligation of the people and officials. The nation also believes that tireless and diligent efforts in realizing the causes of Islam and the revolution are the real way to appreciate the Islamic nation martyrs.

NY Muslims Travel to White House to Invite Obama to Islam

The Islamic hate-mongers of RevolutionMuslim.com, have traveled to the White House, and invited Dictator Obama to Islam. At the 1:25 mark we see RevolutionMuslim spokesman Younus Abdullah Muhammad push away an elderly counter protester. He later states that if Obama were to be judged by international law he would be hanged. The rest of the video is an absolute tirade aimed at Obama.

REVOLUTION MUSLIM is pleased to announce our next effort and we ask all to take time out to participate in this noble cause. We have penned a letter to Mr. Barach Obama, Pharoah of the American Empire calling him to Islam and, or to end the Wars and American aggression across the globe. ...In California, a small group of Hizb ut-Tahrir cadres began recruiting in the early 1990s. They set up an organization in Walnut, (located in eastern Los Angeles County) called the Islamic Cultural Workshop (ICW). The organization published Khalif'ornia magazine, which later became Khalif'ornia Journal. Although ICW and the Khalif'ornia publications are no longer in existence, their writings offer the closest thing to a comprehensive body of ideological and religious literature produced by HT's American supporters.

The publications devote considerable attention to translations of HT literature on everything from "Separation of Church and State" to "A draft Constitution of the Islamic State."

The Khalif'ornia Journal states that its "direct objective" is to teach Muslims "that we must reestablish the Khalifah in the Muslim World, where Islam will be applied in every aspect of life and be carried to the world." The publications devote considerable attention to translations of HT literature on everything from "Separation of Church and State to "A draft Constitution of the Islamic State." Jews and Christians are depicted as inferior beings and the United States is portrayed as constantly conspiring against Muslims.

HT supporters also formed a group called the Workshop for Awareness on Islam and Enlightenment (WAIE). It had a Washington, D.C. mailing address and telephone contact numbers in Northern Virginia. Its Internet domain was registered by a software developer named Adil Elkiyari whose Maryland-based company, transinfocom, is no longer in business.

WAIE had a booth at the August 31-September 2, 2002 conference staged by the Islamic Society of North America at the Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

WAIE also sponsored several lectures at the University of Maryland College Park together with the Muslim Students Association. A flyer advertising a February 6, 2002 address by Ossama Hazim, WAIE president, declared that "The Islamic State's foreign policy is the call to Islam. As such, it does not recognize so-called International Law, United Nations or other International Organizations that contradict Islam." A "State may not be partly Islamic. Gradual implementation of parts of Islamic Law is not acceptable."

These caliphate-yearning Moslems have been here in America for a long time and remained relatively quiet until now. Why the new boldness? What has [cough] changed?

A group committed to establishing an international Islamic empire and reportedly linked to Al Qaeda is stepping up its Western recruitment efforts by holding its first official conference in the U.S.

Hizb ut-Tahrir is a global Sunni network with reported ties to confessed 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Al Qaeda in Iraq's onetime leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. It has operated discreetly in the U.S. for decades.

Now, it is coming out of the shadows and openly hosting a July 19 conference entitled, "The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam," at a posh Hilton hotel in a suburb of Chicago.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is one of the group's most famous alumni, New Statesman journalist Shiv Malik reported, citing intelligence sources. In addition to plotting the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, he also is implicated in the World Trade Center bombing of 1993, the Bali nightclub bombings and the murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl.

...Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, who was the leader of Al Qaeda in Iraq until he was killed in June 2006, also was once a member of Hizb ut-Tahrir.

...[O]ther former members include Asif Muhammad Hanif, a British man who blew himself up outside a bar in Tel Aviv, killing four people (including himself) and wounding more than 50; and Omar Bakri Mohammed, a radical cleric currently banned from Britain who praised the 9/11 attacks, raised funds for Hezbollah and Hamas and called for attacks on the Dublin airport because U.S. troops transfered there on their way to Iraq....

Hizb ut-Tahrir's official ruling on the permissibility of hijacking planes says, "If the plane belongs to a country at war with Muslims, like Israel, it is allowed to hijack it, for there is no sanctity for Israel nor for the Jews in it."

And one of the organization's more recent leaflets, published in March, calls for the declaration of "a state of war against America."

If someone had told me on September 12, 2001, that such a conference would be held here in America less than eight years after 9/11, I'd have said, "You're CRAZY!" Yet, that very insanity is exactly what's happening.

Over three years ago at my first web site, I posted this. That posting, which discussed everyday, average Moslems' yearnings for the caliphate, received over 200 comments, was based on a front-page article in the Washington Post and mentioned Hizb ut-Tahrir as follows:

an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Nevertheless, Hizb ut-Tahrir is welcomed to the Grand Ballroom of a Hilton Hotel right outside Chicago? I suppose that we should be grateful the conference is not being held right outside two 9/11 targets: New York City and Washington, D.C.
