Comey Asks DoJ to Shoot Down PDT Tapping Claims; Conway Tells Comey to Come Clean

FBI director James Comey sparked a backlash last night as he allegedly called on the Justice Department to publicly refute President Trump's claims that Obama ordered a wire-tap on Trump Towers prior to the election. 

After the shocking allegation that Trump compared to the Watergate scandal on Saturday, presidential aide Kellyanne Conway challenged Comey to reveal what he knows about the explosive claims. 

Her comments came after the release of a report claiming senior officials had said that Comey believed the claim was false and wanted it refuted as it falsely implicated the FBI. 

But Conway last night demanded that Comey speak on the record if he wants to discredit the president's claims, although she could not confirm if Trump knew for sure that the allegation is true.
