Man Shot in MI5 & Police Anti-Terrorism Raid in London

A man has been shot by police during a raid involving 250 officers carried out under the Terrorism Act. He was taken to a nearby hospital after police searched a house in Forest Gate, east London. His injuries are not life-threatening.

The decision to launch the raid followed discussions between MI5, the anti-terrorist branch and the Health Protection Agency.
Residents said Forest Gate was a typical east London "mixed" community with a large number of Bengali and Pakistani families, along with a recent influx of Eastern Europeans.

One neighbour said the operation early this morning had involved "the most police I've seen in my life".
Another neighbour said a family lived at the address. "They were respectable and nice people and we do not know anything else. They have always been nice to us," she said.

Always decent, good people. Like this "peaceful" Australian jihadist

"They have lived there for a long time. The kids all go to school locally."

That's because they're all assimilated, bruv.

UPDATE: A 5 mile air exclusion zone is in force according to the BBC video feed

UPDATE 2: From Sky news

Dimple Hirani, 21, a student at London Metropolitan University, said she might have gone to school with one of the teenage boys from the family.

I went to that University! I quit early from my degree due to the number of Bin Laden supporters, support for the 9/11 attacks and opposition to the war on the Taliban.

She said: "If it's the house I'm thinking of, I went to school with one of the lads. They were really nice lads and really nice people. I never thought anything of it. Lots of young Muslims these days are getting more religious, especially after 9/11. It's nothing to be suspicious about."

Some Knew Bush was an Open Borders Anarchist in 2000

Lawrence Auster has a right on target assessment of Bush in 2000 in his September 2000 article "My Bush Ephiphany." Now as we contemplate the insane Senate "Destroy America" Immigration Bill, we can look back at Larry's article and say, 'the clues were all there, why didn't we see this liberal Democrat in Republican drag?'

My Bush epiphany

A few weeks before he was nominated as the Republican candidate for president of the United States, I happened to see Bob Dole being interviewed on TV. As I watched, everything I knew about Dole came to mind -- the love for big government that he had unembarrassedly revealed in his Senate retirement speech a few days earlier, the constant hints and sardonic asides by which he distanced himself from conservatives and accommodated himself to liberals, even the way his eyes kept shifting from side to side as he spoke. Suddenly the thought flashed into my mind: "He's not on our side; he's on their side."

....

On the matter of national identity, W. delivered in Miami on Aug. 25 a major address on U.S.-Latin American relations, in which he unveiled a startling -- at least for a Republican -- view of America. We should pay close attention to his words:

We are now one of the largest Spanish-speaking nations in the world. We're a major source of Latin music, journalism and culture.
Just go to Miami, or San Antonio, Los Angeles, Chicago or West New York, New Jersey ... and close your eyes and listen. You could just as easily be in Santo Domingo or Santiago, or San Miguel de Allende.

For years our nation has debated this change -- some have praised it and others have resented it. By nominating me, my party has made a choice to welcome the new America.

Let us be clear that W. is not (as Republican politicians including Reagan have done for decades) celebrating immigrants from diverse backgrounds on the assumption that they are becoming part of our culture and way of life. On the contrary, he is applauding the expansion and the increasingly dominant role of the Hispanic culture and the Spanish language in this country. He is explicitly welcoming the very things that are making America less and less like its historical self and more and more like Latin America.

To repeat, this is not the usual establishment conservative line of "immigration with assimilation." This is multiculturalism, the view of America as a collection of unassimilated yet "equal" cultures in which our former national culture will be progressively downgraded and marginalized.

Also surprising is W.'s claim that Republicans have "made a choice to welcome the new America." Did Republicans realize that by nominating W. they were not only committing themselves to a pro-multicultural candidate, but shutting down all debate on the issue?

Complementing W.'s support for the Hispanicization of American culture was his view of Mexico-U.S. relations:

I have a vision for our two countries. The United States is destined to have a "special relationship" with Mexico, as clear and strong as we have had with Canada and Great Britain. Historically, we have had no closer friends and allies. ... Our ties of history and heritage with Mexico are just as deep.
In equating our intimate historic bonds to our mother country and to Canada with our ties to Mexico, W. shows a staggering ignorance of the civilizational facts of life. The reason we are so close to Britain and Canada is that we share with them a common historical culture, language, literature, and legal system, as well as similar standards of behavior, expectations of public officials, and so on.

We share none of those things with Mexico, which, along with the rest of Latin America, constitutes a cultural region quite distinct from that of the United States and Europe. Everyone, on both the left and the right, has always known this to be so. W., apparently, does not. As he sees it, our mere physical proximity to Mexico is tantamount to cultural commonality with Mexico.

W.'s delusions of cultural similarity don't stop there. "Differences are inevitable" between Mexico and the U.S.," W. continued. "But they will be differences among family, not between rivals."

Coming from the Republican candidate for president of the United States, the statement boggles the mind. It was bad enough when the Democrats in the 1980s started their socialist rant (soon echoed by the Republicans) that Americans are all "one family." But now George W., "The Man from Inclusion," has taken the "family" idea several steps further. For W., it is not just the United States, but the United States and Mexico, and ultimately the United States and the whole of the Americas, that constitutes one "family."

With this thoughtless cliché, W. is moving in symbolic terms toward the goal that Mexico's newly elected president Vicente Fox is calling for in concrete terms: the opening of the U.S.-Mexican border. After all, who would want to maintain national borders and high-tech barriers between members of the same family? Within a family there is unconditional support, mutual obligation, and the sense of a shared destiny -- not armed patrols and checkpoints.

Whether or not W. himself understands the logical implications of his "family" rhetoric, its political consequence if he becomes president will be the same -- the further delegitimization of our borders and our national sovereignty.

All of which leads up to the question: Why is he doing this? Most conservatives had accepted, if without enthusiasm, the pragmatic need for W. and other Republicans to project a warm and "inclusive" image, conspicuously embracing minorities and so on. But by no reasonable calculation did that require W. to embrace multiculturalism, any more than the need to avoid "negative attacks" on his Democratic opponent required him to praise Reno's cover-up of Gore.

Since his adoption of a multicultural vision of America makes no sense in political terms (indeed, it would tend to alienate his own base), the only explanation is that W. really believes in it. Watching his speech in Miami, you couldn't help but feel that W. is genuinely moved by this "We're all one family" sentiment. It is as central to his heart (about which he is always telling us) as the love of big government is to Bob Dole's.

Ahmadenijad's DNA

I have been remiss in not reposting this here!

I noticed that Hyscience had linked to my scholarly debate of whether Ahmadinejad is a chimp or an ape.

On a related thread at Israellycool, someone named Woland pointed out this great picture that sheds light on this important topic:

They have no shame.

IslamOnline published an article entitled Muslims in Greater Europe. In and of itself it's a rather bland feel-good bit of half-taqeeya, though maybe a tad to triumphalistic about the near future. This snippet sent me high up in the curtains:
The charting of any vision for the future should take into consideration the reality on the ground. For example, for Spanish Muslims, who have gone a long way towards establishing their presence as an integral part of society and achieved tangible successes in various sectors including education, legislation, and culture, the March 11, 2004, terrorist attacks in Madrid could have undermined all that had been achieved by the Muslims, due to the misdirected political, security and media campaigns initiated in reaction to the event.
Ah, that's where we misunderstood eachother! Muslim credibility was not in the least diminished by those miscreants that blew themselves up in commuter trains in Madrid under the assumption they were the most devout among the worshippers of the Big Black Stone Idol. It was the political, security and media reactions, nay campaigns, nay misdirected campaigns (drumroll and brass fanfare, maestro, if you please) in the wake of those slaughters.

Oh and in response to this:
In the past, European Muslims were viewed as foreigners, alien to society. This, however, is no longer the case, as the vast majority of Muslims are either of European descent, descendents of immigrants, or are themselves immigrants who arrived a few decades ago. They are part and parcel of European society. If Muslims are peculiar by virtue of their religion, then this applies to all religious groups, including Catholics, Protestants, Zoroastrians, Buddhist and others.
Allow me to respond in the following, slightly irritated manner:
No, you cultural relativist nincompoop. If Muslims are peculiar by virtue of their religion, it is because their religion apparently instructs them to burn cars and embassies, to blow up trains and buses filled with ordinary people going about their ordinary businesses, to kill and threaten any and all that are the slightest bit crictical of said religion and the one calling himself the last prophet. Stop with the constant threatening, lying and degrading of anyone not muslim and you will find you will be considered a damn sight less peculiar and hell, maybe even friendly. The reason those others you mention are considered not nearly as peculiar as are Muslims is because those others are or have learned to adapt to the presence of other faiths and cultures.
Anyway, read the whole thing. It is a great example of how 'moderate' muslims actually don't differ that much from their less moderate, more bloodshed oriented co-religionists.

Addressing Grievances Of British Muslims

The following is a clip from the Phil Hendrie radio show. After you listen to/watch the clip make sure you check the first comment [thanks to Daniel for reminding me about this video] :

He Walks in Dark Places

"Achilles absent was Achilles still."

We go into our 20th meeting this evening in Vancouver, Canada, this evening at 7:00 pm at Vancouver Public Library to sit in the atrium and discuss our plans to defeat dhimmitude, jihad, and the fascist Left around the world. Where, we wonder, will you be?

Many have come a long way from the privacy of their daily lives and personal concerns to the point that today we spend much our own lives dealing with foreign concerns of religion and politics that we likely would not care to if life were to leave us to our own preferred pursuits. Islam? It bores me to tears. Fascism? I can't stand thinking about it. Socialism? I get frustrated and disgusted hearing the nonsense. Our privacy is invaded, and our publicity demands us to rise up to reclaim it. Our private lives are not our own anymore as they once were. We are drawn into war against our wishes, and now we sit on a far shore awaiting battle. We are actually waiting for you.

Where, Achilles, have you gone?

Ours, though we did not choose it, is a good fight. We are called to battle. Life itself calls us to battle. Our private lives are now part of the whole of our nations and our people. We are called upon.

"The people who walk in darkness will see a great light; those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them. Thou shalt multiply the nation, Thou shalt increase their gladness; They will be glad in Thy presence as with the gladness of harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil. For Thou shalt break the yoke of their shoulders and the staff of their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor, as in the battle of Midian. For every boot of the booted warrior in the battle tumult, and the cloak rolled in blood, will be for burning, as fuel for the fire."

(Isaiah 9: 2-5).

We chatter in the darkness and squat down chewing our knuckles, waiting. We see the light as we sit in the caves of the mind, know it's shining for us, and we hold back. The hero lurks. He walks in dark places.

We have a great thing to do and we will pay a great price for victory. What a blessing we might have for the taking.

"At last is Hector stretch'd upon the plain,
Who fear'd no vengeance for Patroclus slain:
Then, Prince! You should have fear'd, what now you feel;
Achilles absent was Achilles still:
Yet a short space the great avenger stayed,
Then low in dust thy strength and glory laid."

Homer, The Iliad, Bk. 22.

Your absence disturbs us. We meet in public weekly, Thursday evenings, 7-9:00 pm in the library atrium. We assemble for battle. We await you. Call from your camps.

Go now. Go. Go do some great thing.

Israel develops SECOND active defense system

iron_fist1.jpg

Until recently, the development of Iron Fist was shrouded in secrecy, as it was developed in parallel to a different Israeli developed ADS system - RAFAEL's Trophy, which entered full scale development in 2005. However, due to rapid development pace and successful testing, IMI expects to deliver the first systems for IDF testing and qualifications by mid 2007. Unlike competing systems, IMI's Iron Fist can be installed on light vehicles, including trucks and even Humvees, offering effective protection from RPGs. IMI conducted extensive testing against a full spectrum of threats, engaging various types of threats from stationary and moving armored personnel carriers. The system already demonstrated effective protection of light vehicles and heavy armored vehicles, from small rocket propelled grenades, anti-tank missiles and tank rounds equipped with shaped charge warheads as well as advanced kinetic threats (armor piercing tank rounds).

And the horses you rode in on

Two truly fantastic stories .. scrotum tightening stupidity, perfidy, laziness, spoiled americans and shortsightedness

1 ) Maywood, CA maywoodpolicebadge.jpg.w180h181.jpg Maywood is 96% Latino. Its City Counsel has vowed to make it "a sanctuary city" for those who have illegally invaded our country.

Toward this end, it has eliminated the police department's traffic division, because too many illegals were getting into trouble for driving without licenses. There will be no more sobriety checkpoints or towing of illegally operated vehicles, so as not to inconvenience the aliens.

"No human being is illegal," Councilman Felipe Aguirre righteously proclaimed. He referred to the defense of the USA's territorial sovereignty as "this hypocritical policy."

Some salient facts about what illegal immigration represents in this case...NOT RACE.

In 1970, a majority of the Maywood population was White (assumption is that they did not get here illegally, but for the benefit of the 'critical progressives' we will consider the idea that they may some kind of mafioso, or DOW Chemical napalm engineer war criminals or such)
In 1980, the Hispanic population in Maywood was more than 80%. By 1980, nearly half (49.3 percent) were foreign-born
In 2000, Maywood was 97% Hispanic. More than 55% of its residents are foreign-born. No data is available on the % of illegals among the 55% foreign born in this town 16 miles from Pasadena

Criminals showed up and the citizens LEFT, because the law and order and therefore safety for families and kids was not enforceable because there was no civil will.

Now the police have been ordered not to enforce the law by what well may be the children of the criminals who entered illegally. I don't care if they are latino, chinese, jewish, mongolian, or born in Ouagoudougou.

The word for this process is called

ANARCHY

UPDATE:

Does La Raza Have It's Own LAUSD Charter School?

McIntyre in the Morning has begun an investigation into Academia Semillas del Pueblo, an LAUSD charter school. The website for the K-8 school says it is, "dedicated to providing urban children of immigrant native families an excellent education founded upon their own language, cultural values and global realities." The school's student body is 91.3% hispanic and 8.7% native / alaskan native. There is not a single white, black, or asian student.

The school receives support not only from the tax payer but also the National Council of La Raza and the Pasadena City College chapter of MeCHA (Movimemeniento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan). In various interviews and actions the school's founder, principal and council trustee secretary, Marcos Aguilar, has shown contempt for racial integration. Like everyone else connected to the school, Aguilar has refused repeated attempts by McIntyre in the Morning for an interview, telling our reporter he only speaks with spanish speaking media and warning the reporter, "I would be very careful before I came down here."

Reporter Assaulted After Interview And Loses Tape

(CBS) LOS ANGELES A local radio reporter was assaulted Thursday while leaving a Los Angeles charter school that his station has said imparts separatist ethics, a station official said.

The reporter, Sandy Wells, was not hurt, according to station spokesman Steve Sheldon.

Wells was leaving the campus of Academia Semillas Del Pueblo, 4736 Huntington Drive, after interviewing the principal when a car came around the corner, jumped the curb and the driver tried to run him down, Sheldon said.

Wells managed to dodge the car, but the driver, a man who appeared to be in his mid-20s, got out and tackled him, taking away his tape recorder, he said.

The incident was reported to police, Sheldon said, adding that it is believed to be linked to the station's reporting on the school.

The Los Angeles Unified School District said it would issue a statement on the assault later in the day.

OK, Let's recap

Neo-Nazi Becomes Fanatical Muslim

As an earlier post by The Anti-Jihadist pointed out, the Quran and Mein Kampf have a lot in common. So much so that this former neo-Nazi [now Islamonazi] has converted to the "Religion O' Peace" whilst still being able to hold onto his old Nazi ideologies (article is a little old, but very relevant to recent topics) :

David Myatt, 51, was a self-styled "Satanic Fuhrer" who urged his neo-Nazis followers to fight a race war.

But Myatt has now swapped his worship of Adolf Hitler for al Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

His new name is Abdul Aziz ibn Myatt and he argues that Muslims and Aryans share the same common enemy in the Jewish nation and western capitalism.

Myatt's previous publications include 1997 fascist terrorist handbook 'The Practical Guide to Aryan Revolution', which inspired the Brixton nail-bomber David Copeland.

His more recent writings include 'The Crusader War Against Islam and The Zionist Quest for World Domination', and is a regular contributor to chatrooms where he expresses support for suicide missions and urging young Muslims to take up Jihad.

Myatt has even praised the World Trade Center attacks as an act of heroism.

Gerry Gable, from anti-fascist magazine Searchlight, said: "Myatt is an ethereal character who has used numerous aliases to post messages on extremist websites.

"He is a dangerous man who has twice been jailed for his violent right-wing activities and who openly asked for blood to be spilled in the quest for white Aryan domination.

"We believe that despite his claims to be a devout Muslim he remains a deeply intellectual subversive and is still one of the most hardline Nazi intellectuals in Britain today.

"Myatt believes in the disruption of existing societies as a prelude to the creation of a new more warrior-like Aryan society which he calls the Galactic Empire.

"Now he has has simply jumped on the Islamic extremist bandwagon to further his own wish of a society divided on ethnic lines.

"He believes they have common enemies but it is his disillusionment with the ineptitude of the Nazi movement that has led to this most unholy of alliances."

Myatt was a hardline Nazi since the 1960s and Searchlight allege he was even Grand Master of a secret occult sect called the Order of the Nine Angels, which was alleged to have practised human sacrifice.

It is believed that Myatt's sudden conversion to Islam three years ago may be just a political ploy to advance his own failing anti-establishment agenda.

The Sunday Mercury has discovered that Myatt uses several online identities to post both right-wing messages on neo-Nazi sites and to call for the creation of a global Islamic superstate on Islamic forums.

On one site, Aryan Nation, he attempts to reconcile the differences between both extremes under the title Islamic Liaison Group dating his messages with his trademark yf (Year of the Fuhrer). On another , supporting his diatribe with claims that more than 60,000 Muslims joined Hitler's SS in the Second World War.

He also continues to publish newsletters for his own German Nazi-modelled National Socialist Movement (NSM) which counted Copeland as a branch organiser and advocated terrorist insurrection to spark a race war.

On Islamic internet discussion sites he likens the American attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq to the Allied occupation of Hitler's Nazi Germany.

Michael Whine, Chairman of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, told the Mercury: "Myatt has a long history of involvement with Nazi activity and anti-semitism.

"The fact that he has converted to Islam and allied himself with its extremist fringe is in line with the opportunist politics that have seen him dabble in Buddhism and Chinese Taoism in the past. I would advise all Muslims to have nothing to do with this man."

But Sheikh Omar Bakri, leader of the extremist Al Muhajiroun organisation, said: "I am very keen to meet up with him as we both share a lot in common and I am sure he can help the Islamic cause."

Jihad at YouTube

The following is a message plus the response I received yesterday from a fellow YouTube user, Crusader18:

"Yes My Dear Pimsghost,
The have pulled 3 of my videos down in 24 hours. YT it seems is run by either Muslims or Dhimmis(Liberals) and the censorsghip is happening. I have attached the Video that I want flagged as innappropriate. "koferi" Put up by 'Jihad4u' as hateful a deathmonger as there is on youtube. Youtube pulls down my Vids as fast as I put them up. They Ignor the Flaggings that I do on Jihadist Propaganda videos and any attempts to have my grievences heard. They have pulled vids that were harmless; 60yr old Bugs Bunny Cartoon, Southpark Mohammad(even though there was no picture or cartoon of Mohad)
They(the handchoppers and YT decide what I and we can post or not. Right now I have a more than a dozen that say...: Rejected (content inappropriate) That were viewed (in some cases) THOUSANDS OF TIMES! Yet this one I posted at the same time as the 2 latest taken down
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfP3MK0y-aw
REMAINS! The most amazing thing about this is...Many of my "rejects" are up on YT already by other Users!!! Same name, same file same discriptions same tags...(I copyed them to test a theory) POOF! There's stay, and mine get yanked or denied outright...The same clips. They can, will, and do F**K with people who they don't agree with. If you have an email address to share, I will send you Clips you can either Post or view.(I would post them to test) I am also sending this additional call to arms that follows...(Please Send the following, and resend it. The video doesn't even have a "confirm" screen yet.)
Kind Regards
Crusader18

Subject:
Islamists on YouTube...They get our Videos Pulled Yet Their Hate and Blood filled garbage Videos remains. Flag This 'Cult of Death' porn for what it is...Inappropriate! Here's the plan:Flag this video as Inappropriate: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyymEhCSqQE
Pass it on to all your friends. have them pass it to there friends in 3 cycles we're at 10s of thousands of flags and then...On to the next. We do this until one by one they are denied access to post this stuff. It's called Interdiction...DO THIS!!! Together, WE can DO THIS. We can as free users of OUR INTERNET, INTERDICT this ONE SITE and DENY ACCESS To the ISLAMISTS...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PASS THIS ON AND ON AND ON>>>>>>>>>>>
This is your Clarion Call To Do What You CAN DO TO FIGHT THEM.
Thank you ALL,
Crusader(CRUSADER18)
BTW- I wish to read replies to this request from people I've never even heard of before. We start with one. When it's GONE, we go on to the next. But first, we start with the one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oyymEhCSqQE"

I must add that some Brit has flagged all of my videos and is prepared to fight us "racists", despite the amount of videos devoted to Islam and the Palestinian cause, one which is UNFLAGGED and shows a military vehicle and personel being hit by a bomb, where you clearly see the soldiers blown to bits. I found it by chance, following the trail of muslim radical users and flagging their videos, or trying to. All subject to YouTube approval, of course. My simple VLOGs have apparently been flagged as inappropriate. Between the Dhimwits and the Jihadis, there is a war to get all anti-jihadi videos (and users) kicked off the site, while the videos of Israeli and American troops being blown up remain, as well as video homages to Palestinians which include supposedly "inappropriate" material. Like I say, me discussing Dhimmitude has been flagged. Soldiers being blown up? Unflagged. Very rotten and biased happenings at what is one of the main video hosting sites online.

So, before it gets yanked, and in the spirit of the "Question of the Day" of how to destroy an ideology along with my Ali Sina idea, I'm posting the funniest "humiliate the jihadis" video on YouTube. This is SystemF's incredibly hilarious "Samira RIP", about his "brave mujahadin" camel Samira and her untimely death. This just cracks me up.

The Koran Versus Mein Kampf

A recent comment thread over at Pedestrian Infidel compared Herr Hitler's Manifesto from over 80 years ago, "Mein Kampf", to that "holy of holies" to Muslims, the Koran. Commenters have noted the remarkable similarities between the two, and indeed, the resemblances are more than skin deep and are worth examining in more detail. A closer look at the facts reveals that Islam (not 'Islamism') and Nazism are two kindred ideologies with many, many commonalities.

Let's start with titles. The very title of Herr Hitler's tome means "My Struggle" in English. One could even entitle this book "My Jihad" and this Islamic term would have the same precise meaning. "Kampf" in a Nazi ideological context and "Jihad" in the Islamic one are almost identical. That in itself goes a long way to explaining why 'Mein Kampf' is still such a best seller in current times all over the Islamic World, including in supposedly 'moderate' Islamic states like Turkey.

But the similiarities between the Koran and Mein Kampf don't just stop there. Far from it. Fellow blogger and ally Freedom Fighter over at his/her blog Joshua Pundit has come up with an exceptional, enlightning list of how alike Islam and Nazism really are:

Mein Kampf- States that Germans are the superior race of mankind and that Germany is destined to rule the world , and dominate all other races and nations.

The Q'uran-States that Islam and Muslims are the superiors of mankind and that Islam is divinely mandated to rule the world and dominate all other races, creeds and nations.

...

Mein Kampf-Says that the German State is to have control over every aspect of life. Says all individuals must submit to the State.

The Q'uran-Says that Islam and Sharia is to have control over every aspect of life. Says all individuals must submit to Islam.

...

Mein Kampf-Says that Germans have the duty to claim their divinely appointed place in the world by whatever means necessary. Puts loyalty to the Volk (the race) above all other ethical considerations.

The Q'uran-Says that Muslims have a duty to wage Jihad and to advance Islam's domination over the world (Dar al Islam and Dar al Harb) by any means necessary. Places loyalty to fellow Muslims (Umma) and Islam above all other ethical considerations.

...

Mein Kampf-Mandates that men are superior to women and that women's place should be limited to procreation, the kitchen and the home.

The Q'uran-Mandates that men are superior to women and that women's place should be limited to procreation, the kitchen and the home. (Admittedly, the Q'uran goes quite a bit farther than Mein Kampf on this topic)

...

Mein Kampf-Says that homosexuals are 'race traitors' and should be condemned to death. (Many, in fact were murdered in the concentration camps).

The Q'uran-Says homosexuals are unholy to Allah and should be condemned to death

...

Mein Kampf-Sets out a detailed model for world conquest, including rules for how conquered peoples are to be suppressed and dominated by the German race. States that the wealth, resources and property of subject peoples belongs to Germans by right and the right to life for subject peoples is dependent on Germans. States that
non-Germans have no legal or civil rights.

The Q'uran-Sets out a detailed model for world conquest, including rules for how conquered peoples are to be suppressed and dominated by Muslims. States that the wealth, resources and property of subject peoples belongs to Muslims by right and the right to life for subject peoples is dependent on Muslims. States that non-Muslims have no legal or civil rights. (in truth, a lot of this has its basis in the Hadith and the Sunna, but both derive essentially from what's in the Q'uran, along with all the other aspects of Sharia).

...

Mein Kampf-Divides the world into 'German land' and enemy territory. States that land with Germans living in it or land that once had Germans ruling it rightfully belongs to Germany, and Germany is entitled to get it back by any means necessary.

The Q'uran-Divides the world into 'Dar al Islam' (Muslim ruled land) and enemy territory (Dar al Harb). States that land with Muslims living in it or land that once had Muslims ruling it rightfully belongs to Dar al Islam, and Muslims are entitled to get it back by any means necessary.

...

Mein Kampf-Blames the Jews for society's ills and says that they will be exterminated.

The Q'uran-Blames the Jews for society's ills and says that they will be exterminated. ("On the day of Judgement the rocks and trees will call out 'O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me! Come and slay him!")

Islam and Nazism. Mohammed and Hitler. As plain as day, they are cut from the same cloth.

Do The Jihadis Consider Denmark Islamic Territory?

Bernard Lewis gave a talk the other day on the troubles the Western world is having with Islam. Here, he proposes a very good question with regards to the anger in the Muslim world over the Jyllands-Posten cartoons:

What was much more at issue was another ban, and that is on insulting the Prophet, which is, of course, an offense. This raises a number of interesting questions that I think are of direct relevance to the whole issue at the present time.

Insulting the Prophet is an offense in Muslim law. This raises two issues: one of substantive law, the other of jurisdiction. Muslim jurists discuss this at some length, and there is a considerable body of case law concerning it in Muslim states.

The first point of disagreement: What is the range of jurisdiction of Muslim law? And here you have two opinions. According to the Shi'a and a minority among the Sunnis, Muslim law applies to Muslims wherever they may be in the world. A Muslim who commits an offense against Muslim law, wherever he may be in the world, is subject to Muslim law and must therefore be punished in accordance with Muslim law.

The majority Sunni view is that Muslim law only applies in countries under Muslim government. What happens outside is no concern of the Muslim authorities. One distinguished jurist makes his point with an extreme example: A Muslim traveling in the lands of the unbelievers commits robbery and murder. He returns to the lands of Islam with his loot. No action can be taken against him or against his loot because the offense was committed outside the jurisdiction of Islam, and it is therefore up to the juridical and legal authorities of the infidels to take action, if they can and will.

Here you have two different opinions relating to an offense committed by a Muslim. That is not the case for the Danish cartoons. This is an offense committed by a non-Muslim. And here the plot thickens. This is discussed by all of the juridical authorities only in the case of a non-Muslim subject of a Muslim state. If a non-Muslim subject of a Muslim state says or does something offensive to the Prophet, he is to be tried — accused, tried, and if necessary, punished. The jurists on the whole tend to take a rather mild view of this offense. They say, well, he is not a Muslim; he doesn't accept Mohammed as the Prophet; we know that.

So saying that Mohammed is no prophet does not constitute this offense. It has to be more specifically insulting than that. And, as I say, there is an elaborate juridical literature and case law on this subject. What is never discussed at all — it is never considered — is an offense committed by a non-Muslim in a non-Muslim country. That, according to the unanimous opinion of all of the doctors of the holy law is no concern of Islamic law, which brings us back to the case of Denmark.

Does this mean that Denmark, along with the rest of Europe is now considered part of the Islamic lands, and that the Danes, like the rest, are therefore dhimmis, non-Muslim subjects of the Muslim state?

It would seem the Jihadis think so.

A Tale of Two History Conventions

Last January the American Historical Association had its annual conference. Scott Jaschik provided a review of how military historians faired with the academics who consider them court historians:

When historians gathered this weekend in Philadelphia for the annual meeting of the American Historical Association, military historians organized a session to talk about their unusual situation right now. Panelists included historians who work in academe and those who work in the military — all of whom said they face credibility issues. Those in academe must contend with those in the military who think they are scandal-mongers or irrelevant, and with academic colleagues who question whether they are sufficiently critical of the military. And scholars in the military — even those with solid publication records — face questions from academics about whether they are legitimate.

Members of all of those audiences turn to military history hoping that it will “offer a redemption story,” and most of the time it doesn’t, Stoler said. “I tell people, if you want a redemption story, go to church, go to synagogue.”... [Heh]

John Lewis, professor of history at Ashland University, provides "a report from the front" on the recent conference of The Society for Military History:

From the outset the conference set an utterly different tone than one hears at America's largest historical enclave, the American Historical Association. The difference starts with the membership: the AHA is almost totally academic, while the SMH has a large number of historians working directly with military units, either in uniform or as civilians. The opening speaker at the SMH said two things that I have never heard at the AHA: he praised our "passion for facts," and he urged us to write history always "with practical value for today." The purpose of history, I heard repeatedly at the conference, was to place modern events into an historical context, and to offer people—civilians, officers and soldiers—a means to better understand the present, and to plan for the future.

People not involved in academia may not understand how refreshing this was to me. At the AHA, outright hostility will usually greet such claims. I have sat on history panels where the first thing said is "there are no facts—only interpretations [cute, that's Nietzsche]; and there are no lessons—only the contemplation of complexity." I have been in job interviews where the committee members' eyes glaze over when you even mention political, intellectual or military history. To them, everything is the subjective creation of gender history, "queer" studies, how the average man lived, or the "history" of oppressed peoples. It's all generally disgusting, irrelevant to understanding human events, and downright boring.

The Greeks and Romans knew that the purpose of learning history was to live a better life today. In the world of today's academics, this is all but forgotten. To hear it stated as a matter of fact at a professional conference was like a breath of fresh air. I do hope they accept my paper proposal next year....
