Royal Dhimmitude

This appeared today in my blog under the header Uitverkoop -- The Automatism of Selective Tolerance.

Dutch Queen Beatrix is proving that her aptitude when it comes to conflict management is second only to her dress sense. The Dutch Parliament saw a brouhaha earlier this week about a visit by Queen Beatrix of the Mobarak Mosque in The Hague. The Mobarak Mosque is the oldest mosque in the Netherlands and was established 50 years ago. Like all visitors, the Queen took off her shoes before entering and also refrained from shaking hands with the religious leaders wo are running the mosque. Prime Minister Jan-Peter Balkenende praised the Queen for this "example of religious tolerance". Conservative politician Geert Wilders, however, let the Parliament on Wednesday know in no uncertain terms that he was of the opinion that "...the Queen and the Prime Minister of The Netherlands have sold out norms and values such as the equality between men and women under the pretext of tolerance."

In Friday's Brussels Journal, Paul Belien states that "... this 'tolerance' of Beatrix is a sham, which is proved by the fact that in 1982 she refused to visit a group of radical Orthodox Jews because they... refuse to shake hands with women.'

I don't think it's a sham. I don't even think that Beatrix, who holds a law degree, is a member of Club of Rome, and got her early education at a progressive, pacifist and egalitarian school, is aware of the double standard. It's just a European automatism to be tolerant selectively.

The new sport, congratulations americans, you're all 'Juden'

From Commentary (sub may be reqired)

attitudes toward Americans are not necessarily linked to specific actions that the United States takes. Nearly 80 percent of Indonesians, for example, approved of the U.S. disaster-relief operation in the aftermath of the Asian tsunami in 2004. Yet anti-Americanism in Indonesia actually grew during the same period.

indonesian_thanks.jpg

Here is something worth reading.

So why are we disliked? Here is one plausible reason...

The mere fact of American power, combined with a readiness to use it in defense of American interests, seems enough to damn the United States in the eyes of many. Even when American power is deployed for their benefit, the gesture is either reinterpreted as malign in intent or is somehow disconnected from the dominant paradigm of American omnipotence and malevolence.

Al-Durah? Jenin? More Blood Libel

The Palestinians eat their own. There is a diabolical complicity between the Jew hating media and the savages that would wipe the Jews off the map. What set off the second intifada ? Al-Dura. The moment that plunged Israel into a sea of shit was a staged event. And the French media knew it. And who could forget the farce of Jenin? The irony of Jenin was how the Israelis took more military causalities because they would not employ air cover so that there would be less Pali civilian deaths (is there such a thing as a Pali civilian? Oh yeah the 4% that voted against terror. )
Aldura_lieJudith at HNN has an eye opening account of what really happened to the Pali family here

GAZA BEACH CARNAGE FOOTAGE STAGED?

A terrible tragedy happened on the Gaza beach. Shells exploded and killed 9 men, women and children and injured others. Heartbreaking.

Israel is investigating. But Mark Regev, the Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman who said that Israel believes such shelling of civilians to be unacceptable also told the BBC that naval or air shelling have been ruled out. Other possibilities are explored. In the meantime Hamas vows to end the unilateral cease fire with Israel.

But, please, watch this BBC report and tell me what were the cameramen doing on the beach at the moment the shell hit? CNN has the exact same footage.

Are we once again dealing with a Jenin/al Dura style staged recreation?

The BBC also features an eyewitness by a jounalist named Sami Yousef who just happened to be on the beach during the shelling. He ends his account thus:

I've heard people in the last few hours calling for revenge. If an attack happens inside Israel it will make them a little bit happy. It might also make them reject the referendum planned by [Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud] Abbas. Do I smell a Hamas member exploiting an opportunity (with BBC acquiescence) or is it something more sinister?

So what have we here? Another evil staging to incite and drive those thirsty for Jewish blood. Is this "incident" the deliberate precursor to a world of pain?

Hamas Ends 'Truce' With Israel; Threatens New Violence

The militant group Hamas has declared an end to its informal ceasefire with Israel and has vowed to increase the level of bloodshed in the region after the death of seven Palestinian civilians taking a beachside picnic on the Gaza Strip Friday.

UPDATE: SHOCKA! Palis refuse to cooperate with investigation here. Transparancy fellas, c'mon now, we is on to you.

IDF sources say Palestinians have not disclosed information regarding exact location, time of explosion that killed seven civilians on north Gaza beach; ‘this makes it very difficult to form clear picture of what happened,’

IDF sources said Saturday that the Palestinians are not cooperating in the investigation of the Gaza beach incident , during which seven civilians were killed. (hat tip tagrafiti)

UPDATE: More and more the truth emerges. Savages, pigs. Eat their own.

IDF: Palestinians may have caused blast

As the IDF continued its investigation into the cause of the explosion that killed seven Palestinians on a Gaza beach on Friday, with the initial assumption being that an errant artillery shell was to blame, Defense Minister Amir Peretz said Saturday night that it was possible the blast was an "internal Palestinian incident." IDF officers said that an "internal Palestinian incident" referred to the possibility that terrorists had fired a Kassam rocket which went off target and hit the crowded Gaza beach between Sudaniya and Beit Lahiya. Times Of London Calls Hirsi Ali Neo-Fascist

Well, to be clear, they say, she has "flirted with Neo-Fascism." What a load:

From a well-off family of dissenters, Hirsi Ali had a traditional but relatively privileged life in Somalia. To obtain Dutch citizenship, she claimed to have arrived directly from the violence and chaos of Somalia, omitting details of her family’s comfortable residences in Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and Kenya.

In the Netherlands, she converted to liberal secularism. She joined Pym Fortuyn’s right-wing VVD party, flirted with neo-fascism, declared Islam to be a “barbaric” religion, and fought to stop Muslim immigration.

Through her statements, Omaar shows that Hirsi Ali acted as a handmaiden of hate and played a crucial role in the dehumanisation of Muslim community.

Yes, she fights against honor killings, female genital mutilation, and the stoning of homosexuals, all perpetrated by Muslims, but she is the neo-fascist.

I'm going to resist the urge to unleash a torrent of expletives right now. The Mainstream Media has got to go.

Do The Muslims Love Their Children Too

With much love to that sage of humanity, Sting:

In Europe and America
There's a growing feeling of hysteria
Conditioned to respond to all the threats
In the rhetorical speeches of the Soviets

Mister Bin Laden said, 'We will bury you'
I don't subscribe to this point of view
It'd be such an ignorant thing to do
If the Muslims love their children too

How can I save my little boy
From Ahmadinejad's deadly toy?
There is no monopoly on common sense
On either side of the political fence
We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Muslims love their children too

There is no historical precedent to put

Words in the mouth of the president
There's no such thing as a winnable war
It's a lie we don't believe anymore
Mister Bush says 'We will protect you'
I don't subscribe to this point of view
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Muslims love their children too

What a naiive mofo that Sting was.

Is he still alive?

UPDATE: D.C. writes in to say the following:

I can tell you yes, Muslims love their kids, YES! But not those in these images. They are fanatics who love their sick cause more than their kids and their own lives. The Palestinians society is a mentally sick one, but not all Muslims in the world embrace their ways or the jiahdis ways.

All the Muslims I know, would be outraged at these pictures. It's important that we make that message clear if we want to help fighting terror. It's important that we teach not encourage more hatred.

Bashing all Muslims is like calling all Germans Nazis. It create gaps rather than bridges.

Yes, I agree. I do not, at all, mean to say that all Muslims would raise their children to be suicicde bombers, or Jihadists. So, if that is the impression left by this post, or any other post I write, then I apologize, and I ask forgiveness.

The thing is, however, I do want to make it clear how incredibly disappointed I am in the Muslim community at large because of the fact that there are no major Muslim organizations that will condemn terrorism, Sharia, and Jihad.

When I write a post like the one above, the reason I come off as so hardcore is because, for all we know given the messages we receive from the Muslim community at large, we have no idea whether you stand for terror, or not.

Instead, I have to go by anecdotal evidence and personal experience. I have known Muslims who were very nice people, and who did not seem to believe in terrorism, etc.

Likewise, I have friends who have friends who are Muslim. They tell me they are nice people. Great. I am happy. I want to know nice Muslim people.

But, this kind of thing is not nearly as reassuring as if there were an organization of Muslims, a million or ten million strong, which condemned terrorism in clear terms. That would be more reassuring than knowing 10-20 nice people.

See what I mean?

Gee, Why Do You Think The Palestinians Aren't Cooperating?

UPDATED AT BOTTOM

The other day, Israeli forces SUPPOSEDLY fired a rocket at a Palestinian family sunning themselves on a beach. Seven "civilians" were killed.

Israeli Defense Forces don't know where the rocket came from and they are attempting to investigate. But, the Palestinians aren't cooperating with the investigation:

IDF sources say Palestinians have not disclosed information regarding exact location, time of explosion that killed seven civilians on north Gaza beach; ‘this makes it very difficult to form clear picture of what happened,’ source says Hanan Greenberg

IDF sources said Saturday that the Palestinians are not cooperating in the investigation of the Gaza beach
incident , during which seven civilians were killed.

Gaza Division Commander Brigadier General Aviv Kochavi is heading the IDF investigation.

The sources said the Palestinians have not disclosed information regarding the explosion’s exact location and time.

The army is looking into the possibility that an IDF artillery shell strayed from its course for some reason and has therefore asked the Palestinians for specific data that may help it reach definitive conclusions.

It should be noted that over the years the Palestinians have repeatedly refused to disclosing information following incidents in which Palestinians had been injured, making it difficult for Military Police to carry out detailed investigations.

“There were several incidents in which the IDF closed its investigations although it was clear that had the Palestinians disclosed information it may have changed the entire picture,” a military source said.

“In this case, we do not hold specific information regarding the types of injuries incurred by the Palestinians in the incident, which make it very difficult to form a clear picture of what happened.”

Investigators are not ruling out the possibility that the incident was the tragic result of a stray Qassam rocket that was fired by Palestinian terrorists.

Gee, why do you think the Palestinians aren't cooperating?

Atlas has more.

UPDATE:

Comment from Manker at LGF:

... watch the video here

Gazan after IDF attack: Dad died in my arms

All the images show completely flat sand.

Unless the IDF has developed a new kind of 'low explosive' 155 mm artillery shell than where the hell is the crater on the beach?

Really where is the crater, these things should leave a huge gaping hole.

Yes, it looks as if, once again, we have on our hands a completely manufactured Israeli atrocity.

Teledildonics: Oh The Wonderful Things We Infidels Create

Al Fin writes one of the most important blogs in the blogosphere. The subject is technology, and the amazing changes that await us in the next 40-50 years. His headline reads:

"Primary interest is seeing that the best of humanity survives long enough to reach the next level. "

The point of that statement is that Al Fin is well aware of the threat we face from the Islamofascist Jihad. Al Fin believes great things are coming our way, if we can just defeat the Jihadis.

Al Fin writes on serious subjects daily, including Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, and Computer Science. Today, he is writing on Teledildonics.

"What is Teledildonics?" you ask.

No need to ask. It is exactly what you think it is:

Most people have heard of teledildonics, the family of technologies that allows people to sexually stimulate each other from a distance. Presently the technology is limited to remote controlled vibrators and other simple machine stimulators. Eventually, the technology is going to get much more sophisticated. Science fiction can give us some ideas how it might be done.Take the Star Trek shows featuring a "holodeck".

You may have wondered how in the world solid objects could appear from empty space--even convincing simulations of walking, talking, touching, human beings. More than one crew member had to be reprimanded for fornicating with holodeck "beings." Well, at least one, and you can imagine how the stress of crewing a starship might lead to that kind of thing . . .

Anyway, you do not have to wonder any longer about the technology involved. There is a type of nanotechnology that has been theorised called "utility fog." Utility fog can sit in a room, invisible to the naked eye, then when activated it can simulate solid objects. Here is a list of links for learning more about utility fog and how it might be made and used.

There is quite a gap between a bluetooth controlled vibrator or role-playing cybersex, and a fully animated touch-realistic holodeck partner using utility fog. No doubt remote controlled realistic sex robots incorporating haptics sensors and actuators will attempt to fill the gap in the near future.

Successful Terrorism Brought To You By The Mainstream Media

The most important prerequisite of a successful terror campaign is effective mass media communications. Because the goal of a terror campaign is to instill terror in the populace, a terror campaign without mass media coverage is like a tree falling in the woods with no one to hear it.

Here, David Warren explains how the MSM works for guys like Bin Laden and Zarqawi:

So much of the credit for his (Zarqawi's) murderous successes, and those of other terrorists like him, must be given to the mainstream media -- both East and West. Journalists assiduously advance the terrorist cause, by reporting almost exclusively on allied setbacks and mistakes, and by their ceaseless improvisation of destructive criticism against “Bush” and other Western leaders and allies. Heroic, and largely successful reconstruction efforts in Iraq have been ignored; instead we have an endless spool of meticulously-reported terror hits.

The Western media attention to, and celebration of, such unstable characters as Cindy Sheehan and Michael Berg, make their alliances obvious. The New York Times has been the bellwether for this. Almost every news item touching Iraq is spun to maximize its demoralizing effect on the allied war effort. And across America itself, editors look to the Times nightly front-page line-up for clues on how to slant their own coverage.

To an enemy who depends utterly on morale, in the absence of significant military abilities -- who has only such weaponry as he can rig or steal, and only such soldiers as he can recruit in secret; who has no secure territory to which he can retreat and regroup -- this constant and reliable support from the media is indispensable. Without it, the “resistance” in Iraq would have collapsed quickly, saving ten-thousands of lives; and the Afghan “resistance” would be in greater disarray (though it has the benefit of secure pasturage in remote tribal mountain fastnesses).

The American military spends billions of dollars developing effective systems for its troops to communicate with each other, and with the larger world.

The American Mainstream Media gives the terrorists their communications systems for free.

Hamas Military Wing Calls Off Israel Truce

Oh, right.

Just imagine if Tom Coburn was the mouthpiece for some Dobsonian-Robertsonian-Falwellian religiously pure waqf based group of god freaks so malevolent their acts were utterly amoral, and that the 'armed factions' ran around making policy right out of their own heads as dictated by their version of a deity. BEAUSANT2_1_.gifTom Delay in a balaclava and St. George's cross on his chest?

That wouldn't resemble anarchy would it?

AP- Hamas militants called off a truce with Israel on Friday after a barrage of Israeli artillery shells tore into Palestinians at a beachside picnic in the Gaza Strip, killing seven civilians. laughing%20chimps.gif

The declaration raised the prospect of a new wave of bloodshed. Hamas militants suspended a campaign of deadly suicide attacks on Israelis with a February 2005 cease-fire, and have largely stuck to the truce. The Islamic group now leads the Palestinian government.

OK, that's where they're coming from

With Zarqawi, leader of the ginstu wielding jihadis, the brave necksmiting god-soldiers against tied hostages, presumably licking sperm from a pig's rectum, getting bombed to hell, and the yearly Kos Convention being confluent, Ryan Sager of the NY Sun,gets to the press room there....
koswants copy.jpg

There was a broad recognition that anything anyone on the Left said that was negative would feed right into the "Republican narrative" that Democrats were hungry for defeat in Iraq. However, there wasn't even the first inkling of an idea as to how to deal with that fact.

"We are constantly bashed on the Right for not supporting the military," one blogger said.

"We can't say 'yes, but'," another said, as in, yes it's good Zarqawi is dead, but ...

Another suggested the question: "Why have we not gotten Osama?"

But wait it gets worse

Innocent Muslims Targetted by Hitlerians.

Had we but world enough and time we could dwell on the charms of the Muslim ummah eternally, finding testimonials to each and every one accused of wrong-doing. In the past few days we scooped up at least these few gems regarding the very nice people who brought us: Terror in Toronto.

"I feel screwed by life," Yasin [Abi Mohmmed] told his mother when she visited him at Kingston prison, she said.

She thinks Yasin is innocent and that he is accused of terrorism only because he is Muslim. "He's not a terrorist. This is not fair," she said "They finish his life."

"Alleged leaders described as 'nice guys.'

Qayyum Abdul Jamal.

Mosque member Sam Lela told reporters yesterday that Mr. Jamal is a "soft" person always eager to help those in need.

He said he didn't believe Mr Jamal or any of the mosque members implicated in the plot were capable of hurting others.

Fahim Ahmad.

The young man has known Mr. Ahmad for about a year and described him as nice, outgoing and always willing to help with a problem. He also said Mr. Ahamd played basketball of Fridays at the local mosque.

Amin Mohammed Durrani.

On hearing the news, Mr. Khan said he was shocked. "It's really hard to believe this."

Zakaria Amara.

Mike Paaku, a next door neighbour to the west, said Mr. Amara appeared to be a "normal nice guy."

Shareef Abdelhaleem.

"He is a very decent and good kid," said Mohammed Abdelhaleem, the man's father. "He has no violent inclinations at all. I couldn't believe it when I heard it. It is not in our family. We have no intentions of such things.

He said his son's only "crime" is that "he goes and prays in the mosque."

"It is all fake, for God's sake," he said of the charges against his son. "There is no foundation."

Jahmaal James.

"He's a very nice guy, you know. He came to me to ask about getting married," said Mr Hindy....

"I had no idea he was involved in anything like this," said his father in an interview at the Scarborough townhouse he shares with his son and 83 year old grandmother.

Abdul Shakur.

"We were surprised, really, [at his arrest] because he'd been living with us and we had no idea." said Mr. Attique.

Admad Ghany.

A man with a Muslim student association at Mc Master University said Mr. Ghany was "a quiet, unassuming man."

And finally we come to poor Asad Ansari, of whom not much good is claimed:

"Not everyone knows each other, she said, declining to give her name. "But it's not like they were hiding. They were a quiet family and watered their lawn but didn't always cut it," she said.

OK, OK, OK, OK. I'm relenting. I just can't put Hugh Laurie up next to a thong shot. I know I have, um, quirky taste in men, but I'm not completely weird. I did hit upon a treasure trove of lovely Israeli men online though, so let's start the objectifying, ladies! I don't know his name, I don't care, it's all about the body. Michigan girl tries to run off to Palestinian Arab man

This is a very strange story, but what is perhaps stranger is the word that no news outlet is using.
DETROIT -- A 16-year-old honor student from Michigan tricked her parents into getting her a passport and then flew off to the Mideast to be with a West Bank man she met on MySpace.com, authorities say.

U.S. officials in Jordan persuaded her to turn around and go home before she reached the West Bank. She was on her way home Friday.

Katherine R. Lester is a straight-A student and student council member, her father said. "She's a good girl. Never had a problem with her," Terry Lester said.

Katherine disappeared Monday after talking her family into getting her a passport by saying she was going to Canada with friends, sheriff's officials said. She apparently planned to visit a man whose MySpace account describes him as a 25-year-old from Jericho, Undersheriff James Jashinske said.

The FBI traced the teenager to a Wednesday flight from New York's Kennedy Airport to Tel Aviv, Israel. At a scheduled stop in Amman, Jordan, U.S. officials persuaded her to return home, FBI agent Robert Beeckman said.

It was not immediately known when she would arrive back in the United States. Terry Lester said the family was keeping details of the return private.

Katherine apparently contacted the man from Jericho about three months ago, Jashinske said. Jericho, a city of 17,000, is a relatively calm area of the volatile West Bank.
So why exactly do no news outlets describe this man as a Palestinian?

Italy Is Going Halal

Yes, Islamic Food Is Making Inroads In Italy:

FLORENCE, Italy — Italian cuisine is prized worldwide, with bistecca alla Fiorentina — or Florentine steak — a must for meat-loving visitors to this city. The succulent, mouth-watering, porterhouse cut reappeared in restaurants this year, after a nearly five-year hiatus due to mad cow disease.

While it was shelved, butcher shops carrying Muslim halal meat opened their doors to the city. And now, despite being a quintessentially Tuscan dish, some of the Florentine steak served in homes and restaurants here follows Islamic dietary restrictions.

“At least seven restaurants buy Florentine steak from us,” said Palestinian Mustafa Abu-Zahu, as he butchered cuts of beef at his family’s halal Mini Market near Florence’s basilica of San Lorenzo.

“They feel that our meat is fundamentally more flavorful,” he said on a recent afternoon, adding that some believe “it’s better for the health.”

You know, if it is more flavorful, then, I say, "GREAT!"

This, actually, may help Muslims learn about the joys of Free Enterprise. Finally, individual Muslims may have something we in the West would want to buy. I really hope so.

However, I have a feeling this is just the beginning of the entire continent going Halal en toto.

Aid for Saudi Arabia?

It’s small but it’s a start:

The House voted, 312-97, to strip Saudi Arabia of $420,000 that lawmakers had included in the bill, most of it to train Saudi officials in techniques for finding terrorists and detecting terrorist attacks.

"American taxpayer dollars should not be supporting Saudi hate and terror," said Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., who pushed to strip the funds. "Why should we provide aid to a country that has systematically exported terrorism?

Weiner is a liberal Democrat from Brooklyn, New York who is staunchly pro-Israel.

Kolbe said the vote would only set back efforts to help the Saudi Arabian government root out terrorists in that nation.

"For heaven sakes, is this not something we want to do?" he said. "This is about the war on terror."

Jim Kolbe is a Republican from Tucson, Arizona, who will be retiring this year. (Quotes from the Associate Press article by Mary Dalrymple.)
