Yemen has been taking hundreds of millions of dollars from the United States to help fight Al Qaida while also maintaining laboratories of jihad to generate new cadres of Al Qaida operatives.

Consider Al-Iman University, established in 1993. Western intelligence sources regard the university as a conduit for Al Qaida and even containing a military wing. In October 23 people, including four Europeans and three Australians, were arrested for links to Al Qaida. All of them were students at Al Iman.

Al Iman President Abdul Majid Al Zindani defended his institution, which has nearly 5,000 students. Al Zindani has been designated a "global terrorist" by both the United States and United Nations.

President Ali Abdullah Saleh has not attempted to close down Al Iman, largely financed by Saudi Arabia, which blocks foreign scrutiny. Indeed, Saleh praised the university during a visit on Nov. 12. The president has served as a keynote speaker at the university's graduation ceremony.

Sources said Al Iman seeks to appeal to the Western jihadist. John Walker Lindh, a U.S. citizen, studied at Al Iman before he left for Pakistan and Afghanistan, where he joined Taliban.

Iran-backed Shi'ite majority battles for control of parliament in Bahrain, host to U.S. Fifth Fleet

King Hamad faces a Shi'ite majority, under the increasing influence of Iran, which is preparing to take control of parliament over the next week.

Hamad, who became king in 2002, has sought to balance his desire for a Western-oriented monarchy with his intent to maintain his Sunni Arab regime amid rising demands from the Shi'ites, who have becoming increasingly restless over the past year.

Unless it takes over the 40-member parliament the Shi'ite opposition has vowed to destabilize Hamad's regime. The opposition has accused the government of ordering the military and police to support the ruling Sunni coalition. This was the first election that allowed political parties to run slates. In the 2002 elections, individual candidates ran for office.

"I'm still anxious about the transparency of these elections," said Ali Salman, head of the Shi'ite opposition Al Wefaq National Islamic Society.

Salman, a Shi'ite cleric who expects to be the next speaker of parliament, has set a clear barometer for whether the elections were rigged. He said if his group — which boycotted the 2002 elections — did not win at least 13 seats, then the regime was to blame. Later, he upped the figure to 17 seats.

Iran blast day... Iran warns Gulf states not to join U.S. security alliance

NICOSIA — Iran has expanded its threats against the Gulf Cooperation Council, warning another member state against military cooperation with the United States.

Iran said the UAE must not become a U.S. base for hostile action against Teheran. It was the second warning by Teheran against a GCC state in less than a week.

"UAE officials should not let the United States use their country as a base for hostile activities against Iran," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini said on Nov. 26.

[On Nov. 26, the Iranian-inspired Shi'ite opposition won parliamentary elections in Bahrain. The Shi'ite opposition Al Wefaq won 16 out of the 40 seats in parliament, and was expected to win a majority of the chamber after run-off elections on Dec. 2.]

Hosseini, in remarks reported by the official Iranian news agency Irna, did not elaborate. The UAE has long disputed Iran's control of three islets in the Gulf and observed the first U.S.-led weapons of mass destruction interdiction exercise in the region on Oct. 30.

Report hits White House complacency on Iran's regional threat

WASHINGTON — A new report has warned the Bush administration of the implications of failing to counter a nuclear Iran.

The report said the United States and its NATO allies must work with Gulf Cooperation Council states to form a regional security network to defeat any Iranian threat. Such a network must be capable of stopping nuclear and missile shipments to Teheran. A failure to engage in such planning would be an omission on the magnitude of the failure to adequately plan for the aftermath of regime change in Iraq," the report said. "The planning should include the possibility of follow-on strikes at facilities to prevent their reconstruction and steps to deter or disrupt possible Iranian responses."

The Washington Institute, blaming administration officials for complacency, asserted that the United States must convince Teheran of Washington's determination to stop Iranian nuclear weapons, including through the use of force.

(11/29/06 - KTRK/KATY, TX) - There's an awful lot of exciting news when you round the corner on Baker Road. One of two big yellow signs announces a new neighbor is coming soon.

K.I.A., that's the Katy Islamic Association, plan to build a mosque here.

"It's not an appropriate place to have a mosque or church," said resident Barbara Simpson.
It isn't going over real well.

"As a house of worship, they shouldn't be disturbing the peace and tranquility of 15 homes," said resident John Wetmore.

Neighbors tell us they're concerned about traffic and drainage and a little fear of the unknown. Some of the homeowners even offered to buy the land back for more than a million dollars. The K.I.A. doesn't seem very interested in the offers.

"We're not going anywhere," said Katy Islamic Association member Alvi Muzfar.

So it seems the community at the end of Baker Road has a pretty good fight. But this fight has gone much farther than many between two neighbors. You see in these fights, sometimes neighbors throw mud at one another. In this instance, they're wallowing in it.

Craig Baker owns pigs. He's the guy behind the second big yellow sign on Baker Road. That's the one announcing Friday night pig races.

"What does it matter, I can do whatever I want with my land right," asked landowner Craig Baker.

Sure can. But aren't pigs on the property line racing on a Friday night a little offensive to a Muslim neighbor?

"The meat of a pig is prohibited in the religion of Islam," said Katy Islamic Association member Youssof Allam. "It's looked upon as a dirty creature."

Yeah, there's that and also that Friday night is a Muslim holy day.

"That is definitely a slap in the face," said Allam..

Now before you go thinking Craig Baker is unfair, or full of hate, or somehow racist, hear him out.

Baker has long roots here. His family named the road and when the new neighbors moved in, he tells us, they asked him to move out.

"Basically that I should package up my family and my business and find a place elsewhere," said Baker. "That's ridiculous, they just bought the place one week prior and he's telling me I should think about leaving."

That new owners deny they ever said anything like that, but Baker isn't budging.
Baker admits the pigs are a message he is not leaving.

The 11-acre property is sandwiched between a pricey subdivision and Craig Baker's business.

A SHOCKING report today exposes the grip Islamic law now has on British society.Honour killings, polygamy, child marriages and mutilation are revealed in the study by Islam expert Dr Patrick Sookhdeo, director of the Institute for the Study of Islam and Christianity.

The findings come after the Daily Express told yesterday how secret courts are meting out Islamic justice and creating a two-tier legal system.

The report outlines areas where hardline sharia law conflicts with Britain’s justice system and warns of attempts to include parts of Islamic law in British law. It says: “Since sharia has some regulations which relate to non-Muslims such changes in British law could impinge on non-Muslims too. They would affect individual human rights of freedom of choice and the religious freedoms of both Muslims and non-Muslims.”

The study highlights how suicide rates among young Asian women are more than three times the national average and that an estimated about 12 women die every year as a result of honour killings. The gruesome crimes are carried out after relatives decide women family members have brought shame on them.

The report also reveals how Muslim girls are being forced into child marriages permitted under sharia law.

Dr Sookhdeo – a Muslim-born academic who is a Christian convert – said: “The drive to implement sharia in the UK, both within the Muslim community and the British legal system, must be seen as part of Islam’s impetus to dominate all societies it finds itself in.”

Reacting to the study, Dr Kalim Siddiqui, director of the Iranian-backed Muslim Institute, said: “There are laws on the British statute book that are in direct conflict with the laws of Allah. We are Muslims first and last.”

The Islamic Party of Britain claims the established legal system is “grossly inadequate and full of injustice”.

The study also highlights how Iranian-born Medi Siadatan, from Walsall, who has three wives, has launched a legal challenge claiming Britain’s marriage laws banning polygamy violated his rights to religious freedom.


Oh, well, now I understand. The person who put forth this study is a Christian, so we know that it is all a pack of lies, because Christians lie.

Yes, Christians are evil, and they want to dominate whatever culture they live in, and they want to establish their own laws, and make everyone live under them. Yes, and Christians want to force everyone to believe in Jesus, and if they refuse to do so, Christians want to kill you. This quote comes from a review of a committee report by a Retd. Justice Sachar in India. The report is enlightening placing the fault of Muslims living in India to progress in one of the fasted growing economies in the world. So, who’s responsible for the backward state of Muslims in India? This litany of reasons apply to all Muslims in all non-Muslim countries who refuse to assimilate.

• EDUCATION: If even the most illiterate and poor Indian believes that the govt schools are open for everyone and modern education can bring about change and prosperity to their lives, why Muslims still prefer to shy away from education or send their children to Madarsas, where all they learn is ‘majhabi’ education? In these Madarsas, no vocational training is given and those coming out of them are fit for becoming Islamic teachers only.

• MISPLACED PRIORITIES: Do Muslims ever object to Haj subsidy and insist the govt to open schools and hospitals for them from this money? Has the Muslim society ever questioned the failure of the Muslim leadership to use the huge funds it receives from abroad to build modern schools and colleges for them, instead of mosques?

• EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FOR MUSLIMS: When job opportunities –in govt, private sectors, Armed Forces and judiciary-- are equally available on the basis of merit only, how can anyone claim that there’s discrimination against Muslims? How come so many Muslim actors of the Mumbai film industry have been able to conquer the Indian audience if there is discrimination against them? The industry doesn’t care about how well the candidate knows the Koran, the hadiths and other Islamic things. If the Muslims bothered to study things other than religion, then they stand a much better chance of getting jobs. And, if they’re educated, they stand a better chance of getting a loan from the banks for their business.

• FEMALE EQUALITY: When female literacy and education is becoming increasingly important throughout the world, why 50% of Muslims are not getting their rights of equality by the Muslim society? Muslims don’t want to give equal rights to their womenfolk, who’re constantly under attack from their patriarchal family heads. Muslim women are not allowed to educate themselves, are forced to drop out of schools, are married off early, are not allowed to use family planning methods to limit their families and are under constant threat of divorce.

• FAMILY PLANNING: When every strata of Indian society are adopting family planning, why Muslims find it against their religious laws and continue to live in poverty due to the large size of their families and supporting the thesis that Muslims want to outnumber others by fast-breeding?

• HEALTHCARE: When every Indian is adopting modern healthcare to enhance the quality of life, why Muslim society adopts superstitious stance on health programs like ‘Pulse Polio’?

• NOT MERGING WITH MAINSTREAM: Muslims don’t merge with the mainstream of majority society anywhere they live and are conspicuous by their dressing habits, special food habits, beards, skullcaps, 5-times Namaz and their insistence on veils for their womenfolk even in this 21st Century. Muslims don’t want to bring about social changes in their society and any efforts by any well-meaning ones, including those within, is rejected as an encroachment and insult to their religion. No wonder that even in liberal countries in Europe and USA, Muslims are considered anachronistic and out of touch with modernity.

• OTHER MINORITIES HAVE NO PROBLEMS: Why other minorities like Parsis, Jains, Sikhs, Christians and Buddhists never complain about discrimination? Why is it that other minorities do not find any problem in getting access to education and jobs either in public or in private sector? There is no reservation for these classes of people in Government or public sector jobs and yet they are rubbing shoulders with the majority.

Hand this to a Lefty Dhimmicrat or Islamist Muslim next time they claim that Muslims are being discriminated against and are an oppressed minority.

But seriously, when will the finger pointing begin?

The coming release of the Iraq study group by 'realists' will begin, I think, a new form of comi-tragic relief.

As politicians of all bent run for (a make believe american political) cover beneath the shelter of this document, we will fire off the who lost Iraq, lesson of Iraq, blame of 22 Gia Long Street game.

Republicans will smugly point at Durbinite-Dean-onauts and Moveon-Kerry freaks. Pelosi will be sad that Bush lied us into a war in a nation with no connection to the war on terror and pretend if we had just killed the guy in the cave, this would all have been over.

Newt will claim the morally weak and cowardly democratic party making appeals of economic bent, and a future foreign dis-involvement is possible, is perverting the good sense of americans.

Barrack will insist that a real unified nation is possible if we can all just get past the republican divisiveness.

The Iraq study group (ISG) has no answer. That is plain.

Leaving Iraq in ANY perceived lurch will empower those who want to come here and kill us. I think there is NO argument about this. Will it empower these freaks to actually DO IT?

As noted in The New York Sun, the Financial Times, and other news outlets, Mr. Soros is considering giving his support to a new initiative for an "influential alternative" that would be "a powerful voice to lobby for peace with the Palestinians." It could come to be seen as a counterweight to Aipac and other Jewish organizations.

For some obscure reason, there is no mention of a similar effort to create "a powerful voice" to lobby the Palestinians for peace with Israel.

Anti-Education Killings

Brutally, terribly murdered for doing nothing more than being a teacher- for teaching girls.

The gunmen came at night to drag Mohammed Halim away from his home, in front of his crying children and his wife begging for mercy.

The 46-year-old schoolteacher tried to reassure his family that he would return safely.

But his life was over.

He was partly disembowelled and then torn apart with his arms and legs tied to motorbikes. The remains were put on display as a warning to others against defying Taleban orders to stop educating girls.

Disembowelled and then ripped limb from limb. An educator, girls going to school, vicious fascistic thugs. Where are the liberals now who claim to champion freedom? Where are the teacher's unions offering their support for the mission in Afghanistan? Where are the feminists?

All seem to be silent, content to do nothing more than complain about the freely elected leaders of the United States- and not the Dark Ages zealots who brutally murder people for being teachers of girls.

What has happened?

And it's not just in Afghanistan- Islamist butchers are murdering teachers in Thailand too-

Thailand will close all 944 public schools indefinitely in the country's restive Muslim-majority south after a string of arsons and shootings that left two teachers dead, an official said Monday.

The school closure was due to a wave of arson attacks against school buildings, as well as shootings that killed two Buddhist school teachers last week.

In Pattani, suspected Islamic militants gunned down a 48-year-old school director inside his parked car then set fire to the bullet-riddled vehicle, the federation said. The victim was the 60th teacher killed during three years of unrest in the south, where more than 1,600 people have been killed in the almost daily violence since January 2004.

Where's the liberal outrage? Where's the front page press coverage of these crimes?

Halaal Pornography

Pornography will be a benchmark for liberty in the Muslim world.

How so? Let me explain.

Understand: when I say pornography, I'm including everything from Playboy to the most hardcore, um, stuff. Westerners might think that this definition is too broad but for many Muslims any woman without a burqa is hardcore.

Currently in almost all the Islamic lands, women have few, if any, rights. Men always come first and women come second (or sometimes not at all). Women should have the right to make their sexual or sensual choices. Pornography will thus be the ultimate expression of women's freedom in Dar al-Islam.

Black Lion is confused about why so many Muslims leave behind Islamic lands to live in the infidel world:

For some Muslims, there is only poverty and no option to migrate and make hijrah out of the country. For others of us, there are the resources to leave the US before we end up in concentration camps like many US citizens before us who were of Japanese extraction.

Right.

Races have been mixing for centuries and a religion usually has numerous sects. It is, thus, tough to define race and religion with precision. However, one enters a whole new level of hell when both of these terms are confused:

If you are Causcasian and Muslim, you are considered to have turned your back on whiteness, as much as John Brown when he endeavored to free the slaves by force.

Here's what I've said:

The idea that the critics of Islam are racist is already prevalent. But, now, a white covert to Islam is...no longer white! Which "race" are these people converting to?

I'm confused.

By the way, what, in the name of sanity, is "whiteness"? Is there such a thing as "blackness" and "brownness"? What about interracial marriages--do the kids 'inherit' both "nesses"?

I'm really confused.

Why is it that we only want to settle in countries like France, England, Australia, and the US? Why is it that only in these same countries are we as targeted as we are? Only the US was attacked, and probably by itself only, yet the other 3 joined in the retaliation like some bearded mullahs had jumped on all of them.

Islam's Trojan Horse: African-American Voting Districts

Could it be true that African-American voting districts could function as a Trojan Horse for Islam in American politics?

Are African Americans leaders being used?Are black leaders who were elected to help the folks in there districts being bamboozled by Islamist funding?

What would happen if millions of Saudi money flowed into black congressional coffers, and these elected candidates started parroting Islamist propaganda?

The idea of having a victim mentality social group like African Americans wrapped around the finger of Islamist groups is not unthinkable.Also one of the problems many Arab's have had in running for office is there last name, so a black Muslim born in America with an American last name can be very attractive.

The Caucus has described on its websites its goals which are "positively influencing the course of events pertinent to African-Americans and others of similar experience and situation," and "achieving greater equity for persons of African descent in the design and content of domestic and international programs and services."One could only imagine what such vague language could overtime accommodate.

What does" others of similar experience and situations" mean. Most people in the world have at some point been victims of discrimination so to say that advocate for others of similar experience and situation, means very little.Could it be possible that CAIR along with high rollers in Arab countries are using the newly elected African American and Muslim Rep. Keith Ellison as a test case for spreading there agenda.

Black districts are very conservative socially but liberal on economics which would make them great allies with the new growing Muslim immigrant communities which are seen all over black neighborhood's form Detroit to Harlem.

As black young men in prison convert to Islam this proves to be a great asset in blending the to cultures. I can only imagine what would happen if a Saudi prince threw around a few million dollars he could practically run the entire Congressional Black Caucus.

By stacking Muslim intern Congressional in the Congressional Black Caucus, they could in time have close to 40 congressman all Muslim. Congressman Gregory Meeks has been a strong supporter of bringing Muslim interns onto his staff. It would not take a great deal of time and some candidates may even keep there faith secret just to win and then convert while in office.

With Cynthia McKinney's pandering letter to Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, in which she asked for cash days after Sept 11th it would not take a genius to see this Trojan horse scenario come to play. Also lets not forget Congressman Jeffersons money problems, he should have just called the Saudis.

It would seem that Muslim policy hawks will bring up the "Israel factor", playing on longstanding 'tensions' between blacks and Jews. Of course that is a lot better than talking about Islams involvement in slavery for hundreds of years but that talk is not as fun as blaming the Jews.

There are over 40 members of Congress who are African American and with if Islamic groups posing as brothas in the struggle take over this institution politics in American and foreign policy could change.

I could see a day when a great deal if all 40 members of theCongressional Black Caucus were Muslim, if it happened it would not be a surprise to me.

Both groups would make a perfect fit they both see America as racist, imperialist, but choose to stay they say in order to change it from the inside out.

I just hope that change has nothing to do with facing Mecca.
