Breaking News: Wilders Denied Entrance to the UK

What hypocrisy.

The UK government might just want to get a rope and hang themselves en masse, because if they don't start governing according to the rules of Western Civilization, their power is going to collapse under the weight of Islam anyway.

WILDERS: "LET THEM ARREST ME AT HEATHROW"

Wilders is denied access to the United Kingdom - for fear of mass protests of 'followers of the religion of peace' ( hat tip Dave and remir)

There is nothing on the English newswires. I need a translation.

UPDATE II: From Klein Verzet (thanks Indie)

According to Elsevier and Geenstijl (both NL) report that Geert Wilders has been denied access to the United Kingdom, for fear that his presence may civil disorder. Wilders was on his way to attend the screening of Fitna in the House of Lords, after the first attempted was thwarted by 'lord' Ahmed threatening with a 10,000 strong crowd of islamites in the streets.

UPDATE III: Brussels Journal (Paul Belin)

This afternoon Mr. Wilders received a letter from the British ambassador to the Netherlands saying that he is a "persona non grata" in the United Kingdom. The ambassador told Mr. Wilders that he is a threat to public security and public harmony because of the controversy created by Fitna. Mr. Wilders intends to go to London anyway. "Let them arrest me in Heathrow," he says.

If Mr. Wilders is denied entry to the United Kingdom, it will be the first time that Britain refuses entry to an elected politician from another member state of the European Union. The Dutch government has lodged formal objections with the British government over the unprecedented barring of an EU parliamentarian by another EU country.

Ah, so the UK government finds itself capable of breaking ranks with the EU on something.

Yes, they will break ranks with the EU on the subject of Freedom of Speech.

Amazing.

The UK government is telling us they are actually behind the rest of Europe on Freedom of Speech.

Just Cause writes:

I'm British and this story disgusts me. Ken Livingstone can invite Yusef Al-Qaradawi into Britain, a radical cleric who thinks homosexuals should be hung, Israeli woman and children are viable targets, the victims of the boxing day Tsunami deserved it for not being good Muslims and nobody bats an eyelid. Yet when an elected MP from a fellow European state who has the steel cajones to speak out against Islam wants to come over it's not OK for fear of civil unrest?

Churchill is probably spinning in his grave. What a sad, sad day.

Pastorius,

What is it going to take to make the Europeans see the light?

Earlier this week Rowan Laxton, a high-ranking diplomat at the Foreign Office was arrested after a foul-mouthed anti-Semitic tirade in the gym. Now we have another UK diplomat exposing his highly offensive bias.

W.T.H. ENGLAND? At what point did you change the meaning of the word "diplomat"?

FWIW: A new blog dedicated to DEFEND GEERT WILDERS

Some more

Mr Verhagen commented regarding the showing of Fitna in the British parliament that this was a matter for the House of Lords to decide on, but added: "the fact that a Dutch parliamentarian is refused entry to another EU country is highly
regrettable.

What is wrong with the Brits?
One of my dream vacations would be to visit the UK, now I'm not so sure.

Anyone ever read The Winds of War?

There's a great story within the story about a Professor and his daughter, both Jewish, who get caught in Europe and end up being put into Nazi camps, because they just never believed things would get that bad.

To me, things are similar now. Thing is, we have no idea, really, quite how far gone the Europeans are. They'll surprise one day, either by completely caving, or by fighting back. Either way, it's going to be ugly. And, we have no idea how long it will be before things do get ugly.

Why aren't the 'Opposition' opposing this? David Cameron has the official post of Leader of the Opposition, so why hasn't he spoken out against this?

The silence is deafening.
