WaPo's Richard Cohen : "It is clear that the world has grown weary of Israel"

Only the smug, self satisfied, 'I'm a progressive' in the mirror American, who happens to be by ancestry, jewish, or the Buchanan right, or the new American left ready to spit on Jefferson to embrace Kissinger out of moral and physical cowardice can come up with such UTTER contrivances designed to erode, degrade, and denigrate VALUE as a way to justify to themselves what all they they want in order to simply make it all go away.

WEARY is their watchword and our death knell. If these gavones are weary of Israel today they will be weary of our fight tomorrow (or maybe this afternoon) against the same enemy and the same pressures.

In his fealty to the left of the world, Cohen uses the out of context Chaim Weizmann (who we can be sure thought ONE FINE DAY the Arabs would make a peace ..HAH, or as my grandmother would say .. "FEH") - whose hope for how the Arabs citizens of Israel would be treated would be history's positive judgment of the Jewish state ("FEH !"), - as a extension to complain about how the right in Israel gave Netanyahu and the real winner Avigdor Lieberman power.

Cohen begrudges the people of Israel the right and the long building disgust to choose the kind of government the people believe best suited to safeguard them .. NOT NECESSARILY the same thing as what Cohen considers peace.

Cohen feels Lieberman, who is disgusted with the growing identification of Israel's arab citizens with those forces which would destroy the state they live in, and then promptly kill them if they are running internet sidewalk cafes and refuse to close, represents the troglodytic forces of the state.

Unfortunately, the perceived looser loyaties these arabs feel to Israel are REAL ..even though in 2000 the refusal of many of these arabs to switch their land and citizenship to a new Palestine helped kill a chance for peace under Ehud Barack.

The truth is that while population transfers a la, Greece-Turkey, India Pakistan etc SEEM crude and awful (and they are), they are better than what has transpired since 1947. Maybe this is so since we are seeing a religious war of the peoples, and not a political dispute, but the results are what count.

As Israel's people have noticed.
