Major Hasan was likely an anti-white racist, like all jihadists essentially are. Of the (I believe) 41 soldiers and civilians that he killed or wounded, I'll bet that the overwhelming majority were white rather than black, Hispanic or Asian.
I'm just guessing this but it would fit the pattern of jihadists specifically targeting whites.

But there are some Jihadists who are white, like Adam Gadahn. Also look at a picture of Hasan, the fort hood perpetrator. Both of these guys are white. Not all Jihadists, or even Muslims, are Arabs, or non whites. This conflict has nothing to do with race.

Adam Gadahn was white. But, Nidal Hasan is Palestinian-American, which means he's Arab.

As to your larger point, Damien, you are right. Islam is not a race.
That being said, Islam is an Arab Supremacist religion.

I'm confused. Isn't Islam more about forcibly converting or slaying infidels than a particular race? How exactly is it an Arab Supremacist religion other than the fact that it regarded many of the Arab practices at the time of its founding as morally superior? What do you mean?

That's exactly what I mean.
Also, for instance, in Sudan, the Arab government has systematically been slaying Black Africans for the past 25 years. It started with the Christians, and when they started running out of Christians, they began killing the Sufi Muslims (who also happen to be black).
It is my impression that Arab Muslims consider themselves the true Muslims, and all others ought to be subservient.
Am I wrong? Perhaps.
I am aware that Islam is a religion open to anyone of any race, and in that sense Islam is not a race. However, I think there is not a small amount of Arabic supremacy in Islam.
