#MeToo Movement: Sexual Assault Is Not Sexual Assault When Women Do It

Asia Argento poses with a 7-year-old Jimmy Bennett, center, and co-stars Cole and Dylan Sprouse at a 2003 wrap party for their film, The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things.

Actress Asia Argento was one of Harvey Weinstein's most vocal accusers.

But now she stands accused:
Ever since her accusations of being raped by disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein went public last fall, Asia Argento has been one of the most prominent faces of the #MeToo movement. On Sunday, however, the Italian actress and director was the subject of her own New York Times investigation, with the paper reporting that she paid actor and musician Jimmy Bennett $380,000 after he accused her of sexual assault.
Bennett, now 22, was 17 and below the legal age of consent at the time of the alleged 2013 incident. More The Times reports that Bennett, who was 7 years old when he was cast as Argento’s son in the 2004 film The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things, reportedly pursued legal action after his former co-star emerged as an advocate for survivors of sexual assault following her revelations about Weinstein.

Documents obtained by the Times allege that the former child star met with Argento in a California hotel room on May 9, 2013, where he says she performed oral sex on him before initiating intercourse. Bennett said the incident, which took place three months after his 17th birthday, left him feeling “extremely confused, mortified, and disgusted.”
Asia Argento's friend Rose McGowan, who also happens to be a very vocal accuser of Harvey Weinstein, isn't too happy about this:

Rose McGowan Wanted Us To Believe All Sexual Abuse Allegations…Until Her Friend Was Implicated

On Monday, Rose McGowan, a leading face of the #MeToo movement and alleged sexual assault victim of Harvey Weinstein, tweeted out her support for fellow #MeToo icon Asia Argento. A New York Times article over the weekend revealed that Argento paid out $380,000 to Jimmy Bennett, a former child actor who claims that in 2013, Argento sexually assaulted him in a California hotel.
Bennett was 17 at the time. Bennett once played Argento’s son — when he was 7 — in the 2004 film The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things. According to The Hollywood Reporter: He claims that he arrived at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey to meet Argento in her hotel room on May 10, 2013, with a family member. Argento asked to be alone with Bennett and the family member left. Bennett claims Argento gave him alcohol and also showed him notes she had made on hotel stationery. She then proceeded to ...
And, Rose McGowan is not the only prominent #MeToo howler to think sexual assault is a-ok when it's a member of the #MeToo coven doing the assaulting:

Hollywood is absolutely out of it's mind.

17 years old for a male seems old enough. She probably had no idea that was not the legal age of consent.
