This is a revealing post. For this writer, it shows the extent to which Canada is a communist country. When the state puts priority, time, money and resources into clearing bike lanes of snow before anything else, it means that fictions and narratives take priority over reality in all things. In this case that a bicycle is a practical way for most people to get around in the middle of winter in Toronto.
Schools are closed, vehicles can’t get around, but the City of Toronto made it a priority to plow bike lanes before 6am.
