All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.

President Of Mexico's Senate Admits, IT IS AN INVASION
So I guess it’s an invasion then and these are enemy aliens. Attention SCOTUS. https://t.co/7vlAg66Pwh
Mexico became an independent nation on 9/7/1821. The treaty of Guadelupe Hidalgo was signed on 2/2/1848 establishing permanent boundaries between the US and Mexico which have remained unchanged since (with the exception of the Gadsden Purchase). So, Mexico was sovereign over the SW United States for less than 27 years. During that time Mexico lost Texas to a war of independence and never established effective control over the remaining SW US. For all practical purposes those territories were ruled by the Comanche, Apache, and Navajo nations during the interregnum. Mexico's claim to the SE US is meager at best.

Mexico ceded that land. Is the word of the Mexican government worth anything?
