HAMAS not aggressive enough for Iran, they demand new leaders

Iran-backed Hamas leadership turns on its own prime minister

GAZA CITY World Tribune-- For the first time, a split within the Hamas leadership threatens to turn bloody.

Hamas sources said Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh has come under threats by his rivals within the movement, according to Palestinian media reports.

The sources said several Hamas leaders aligned with Iran are plotting to kill Haniyeh and blame the Palestinian Authority or Israel.

"Haniyeh has been approached quietly and told to step down," a Hamas source said. "He has refused and was backed by the leadership in Damascus."

The sources said Haniyeh's chief rivals were former PA Foreign Minister Mahmoud Zahar and former Interior Minister Said Siyam.

They said Zahar and Siyam have been directly financed by Iran, which has demanded a more aggressive Hamas leadership in the Gaza Strip.

What does that mean? 10,000 rockets in to Israel instead of 5,000? Not enough suicide attempts?

A Hamas leader was quoted by PalPress as reporting an intensification of the dispute between Haniyeh and his rivals. The leader said Hamas military chief Ahmed Jaabari has joined Siyam and Zahar in pressing for Haniyeh to resign.

The main argument between Haniyeh and his rivals focused on how to deal with the PA and Egypt. The leader said Haniyeh, regarded as responsible to Hamas political bureau chief Khaled Masha'al, has maintained contact with PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Ahhhhhh......Iran wants entire Palestinian structure as the means to achieve their fantasy.

In late 2007, the sources said, loyalists of Haniyeh and Zahar clashed in the Shati refugee camp, Gaza City and Dir El Balah. The two sides later issued reconciliation statements.

In February 2008, Siyam told a news conference in Gaza City that the Hamas regime had arrested several Palestinians recruited to assassinate Haniyeh. Siyam blamed the PA for the plot.

"The news conference was a signal to Haniyeh that his days are numbered and he could be eliminated at any time," the Hamas source said. "Since then, he has gone underground."

The source said Zahar wants to replace Haniyeh as Hamas prime minister and eliminate any moderate wing in the Islamic movement. He said Zahar was part of a plot to kill Haniyeh and blame the PA and Fatah.

Okay, now that's truly comedic concept.

"After the assassination we will accuse Fatah of the killing, which will result in a strong blow against the movement in the Gaza Strip," the Hamas leader told PalPress. "At that point, we will activate Hamas power in the West Bank and launch a campaign against Abbas and sabotage the West Bank leadership."

And there are people in the USA, Europe, and IN ISRAEL, under the delusion that Israel surrendering some settlements will aid the cause of peace in the middle east. The utter truth is that there IS no peace process in the middle east unless you are referring to Islamic Peace. There is no settlement, process, negotiation, or promise any jew can make to achieve peace unless it is to leave, or die, or pay the tax.

Arabs and other muslims, as can be observed, only dispute which path to elimination of the jews is the best one, and as we can see, sunnis of all dimensions, and shia get along fine in this endeavor, and anywhere the west is identified as the oppostion..

Enter the 'moderates' ...Larijani now poised to challenge Ahmadinejad

It's important to keep in mind that the current crop of freaks in Iran, of the Hojatieh bent, like Mesbah Yazdi, Jannati and Achmadinejad, were actually too crazy for Khomeini, who banned them. That does NOT MAKE strict Khomeinists, who called for Iran to burn if it advanced Islam, and was the first to call for the murder of the jews of Israel in post shah Iran, "moderate". The very idea transgresses any vision of truth or reality, and lives in a delusion that all 'truth' is relativistic.

Iran is on a roll from all appearances. Teheran is riding the wave of international distaste for the U.S. presence in Iraq by exploiting Shi'ite connections there and in the Gulf states while continuing to develop its nuclear arsenal despite polite global disapproval and U.S. sanctions.

But all is not well in Teheran, especially for President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The messianic leader has become alienated from most of Iran's elite and has been publicly at odds with his ministers and senior officials.

There is no longer any doubt that Ahmadinejad is losing clout, particularly with the financial and clerical elites. But Ahmadinejad still controls the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and Basij, which could mobilize millions of young Iranians.

Meanwhile, U.S. intelligence sources have been tracking the rise of Iranian politician Ali Larijani, a former nuclear negotiator and outspoken critic of Ahmadinezhad,

Larijani won the first round of parliamentary elections March 14 and on May 28 was elected speaker.

From that powerful post, Larijani will be in position to directly challenge Ahmadinezhad's policies and position.

Larijani lost to Ahmadinezhad in the 2005 presidential election and was forced out by Ahmadinezhad last fall as secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) and Iran's chief nuclear negotiator after publicly expressing frustration with Ahmadinezhad's provocative diplomacy.

Larijani has criticized "immature statements and uncalculated decisions by some executive officials," and asserted that the Majles has a responsibility to "rectify the (government's) mistakes," according to the Isargaran website on Feb. 8.

He also said that his resignation as a SNSC secretary was due to "differing viewpoints" with Ahmadinezhad on the nuclear issue. Larijani has differed from Ahmadinezhad's aggressive foreign policy strategies and was quoted in an interview last month as saying Tehran must "leave negotiations open and avoid adventurism."

In February, he expressed concerns about Iran's economy, criticizing what he said were "serious flaws in the country's economic planning," which need to be "resolved by experts."

As a fully trusted aide to Khamenei, Larijani, has long been given carte blanche to protect Iran's nuclear program.

However, Iran has simultaneously been examining the feasibility of creating a separate missile command that would be under the direct control of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps which is loyal to Ahmadinezhad.

"An independent command might be created in IRGC in order to fortify the structure and activities of the missile section," IRGC commander Gen. Mohammed Ali Jafari said.

IRGC, with a separate army, navy and air force, has been deemed the leading military force in Iran.

In 2007, IRGC conducted the largest command and control missile exercise in Iranian history. IRGC fired hundreds of missiles within hours in a demonstration of sustained fire.

Jafari, appointed IRGC commander in September 2007, has sought to expand the force's military and technological capabilities. The general has been the architect of Iran's asymmetrical warfare doctrine, meant to confront much larger militaries, such as those of the United States.]

Larijani is projected using his new position to challenge Ahmadinejad's bid for a second term of office in elections next year.

Ahmadinejad and the IRGC champion an ideological -- even apocalyptic -- vision for Iran's near-term strategy while Larijani, with the elite mullahs' backing, favor a more pragmatic course to achieving regional hegemony.

A confirmed report sent to the office of Dr. Fouladvand in London from inside Iran suggests that Dr. Fouladvand and two of his compatriots are going to be executed on Saturday, May 31, 2008 or possibly even sooner.

The two men to be executed alongside Dr. Fouladvand are Mr. Nazem Schmidtt, an Iranian/American citizen, aka Simorgh, and Mr. Alexander Valizadeh, an Iranian/ German citizen, aka Koroush Lor.

Dr. Fouladvand, a British citizen, was known throughout the Iranian community for his open criticism of Islam and the Mullah's tyranny.

Dr. Fouladvand, who is an expert on Islam, openly challenged the Qur'an in his daily television broadcasts for listeners both inside and outside Iran. His Television discussions were offensive to the Mullahs. On March 10, 2006, in a preplanned action, about 65 of his supporters refused to leave a Lufthansa plane in protest of the European Union's policy of appeasement of the Mullahs' regime.

Dr. Fouladvand was led to believe by an agent of the Mullahs' regime posing as a monarchist activist from within Iran that there were many Iranian patriots inside Iran who believed in him, and that a meeting with them would be fruitful in organizing and uniting people inside Iran to oppose the Mullahs. On October 13, 2006, Dr. Fouladvand and a number of his friends, including the above-named men, left London for the Turkish/Iranian border. The last news of Dr. Fouladvand's whereabouts was on January
17, 2007, when he was expected to meet the supposedly Iranian activists in the Kurdish province of Hakkary in Iraq, which is close to the Iranian border.

In January 2007, the agents of the Mullahs' secret police arrested and smuggled these three men into Iran, where they were imprisoned and were subjected to torture.

Temple Mount 100% Islamic Says Palestinian Presidential Chief Of Staff

JERUSALEM – Jerusalem and the Temple Mount belong to the Muslims and any Israeli action that "offends" the Mount will be answered by 1.5 billion Muslims, declared the chief of staff for Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.

"Jerusalem is Muslim. The blessed Al Aqsa mosque and Harem Al Sharif (Temple Mount) is 100 percent Muslim. The Israelis are playing with fire when they threaten Al Aqsa with digging that is taking place," said Abbas' chief of staff Rafiq Al Husseini.

The Temple Mount is Judaism's holiest site. Husseini was referring to Israeli plans to construct a new bridge from the Western Wall area to the Temple Mount.

The old bridge was damaged two years ago. When Israeli workers tried to repair it, Palestinian leaders claimed the work was threatening the Al Aqsa Mosque, even though the mosque is located hundreds of feet away, the work did not tunnel under any Mount foundation or touch any structure connected to the mosque, and the repair work – which had been pre-approved by Jordan and the Mount's Muslim custodians – was conducted under the scrutiny of an accessible 24/7 webcam.

"Any hurting of Jerusalem will explode the whole negotiations between us and the Israelis ... we must work to strengthen Palestinian ties to Jerusalem," al-Husseini said.

The Temple was the center of religious worship for ancient Israelites. It housed the Holy of Holies, which contained the Ark of the Covenant and was said to be the area upon which God's presence dwelt. All biblical holidays centered on worship at the Temple. Al Aqsa was meant to mark what Muslims came to believe was the place at which Muhammad, the founder of Islam, ascended to heaven to receive revelations from Allah.

Jerusalem is not mentioned in the Quran. It is mentioned in the Hebrew Bible 656 times. Muslims worldwide pray with their backs away from the Temple Mount and toward Mecca. Islamic tradition states Muhammad took a journey in a single night on a horse from "a sacred mosque" – believed to be in Mecca in southern Saudi Arabia – to "the farthest mosque" and from a rock there ascended to heaven.

The farthest mosque became associated with Jerusalem about 120 years ago.

Well this is total rumor and I have no idea if this is accurate or not, but I was sent an email with part of the alleged speech of the reported Michelle Obama words where she mentioned Whitey. Take this at face value and I have no data what so ever if this is accurate or not, but since there has been so many comments on this topic then I will share what I was sent.

Normally I would ignore this content, but since I’ve seen several Obama supporters on this site and other sites tell part of the exact phrase it may have some merit. You can make up your own mind. Me I’m still waiting for the entire tape before I make up my mind on what this really means.

Their target is to make the priest intercede in their behalf to benefit from pensions, company and ill people's attention which can only be reached by the Penitentiary Catholic Service, whose boss is the priest. Volunteers of the Catholic Pastoral Service have confirmed the contacts.

Afghan insurgents 'on brink of defeat'

Missions by special forces and air strikes by unmanned drones have "decapitated" the Taliban and brought the war in Afghanistan to a "tipping point", the commander of British forces has said.

The new "precise, surgical" tactics have killed scores of insurgent leaders and made it extremely difficult for Pakistan-based Taliban leaders to prosecute the campaign, according to Brig Mark Carleton-Smith.

In the past two years an estimated 7,000 Taliban have been killed, the majority in southern and eastern Afghanistan. But it is the "very effective targeted decapitation operations" that have removed "several echelons of commanders".

This in turn has left the insurgents on the brink of defeat, the head of Task Force Helmand said.

So please explain WHY George Bush has retreated philosophically from those policies which obliterated the Afghan safe haven of the mass murderers, and overturned the Taliban, then destroyed one of the most heinous dictatorships on the planet, and allowed a totally different page of history a chance in Iraq AND in Afghanistan, where history stopped in 850 AD?

Okay this is either the stupidest rumor imagination fantasy fest of the year, or Barry had no business getting involved last year.

I learned over the weekend why the Republicans who have seen the tape of Michelle Obama ranting about "whitey" describe it as "STUNNING." I have not seen it but I have heard from five separate sources who have spoken directly with people who have seen the tape. It features Michelle Obama and Louis Farrakhan. They are sitting on a panel at Jeremiah Wright's Church when Michelle makes her intemperate remarks. Whoops!! When that image comes out it will enter the politcal ads hall of fame. It will be right up there with the little girl plucking daisy petals in the famous 1964 ad LBJ used against Barry Goldwater.

Barack may have quit his church but his religious problems are not over. Barack Obama has a Nation of Islam problem that will receive more attention in the coming days. Before Barack came on the scene, THE MAN in his political district was Louis Farrakhan. No one could take Alice Palmer's seat without Farrakhan's blessing. No one. I do not fault Barack Obama for seeking out the blessing of Farrakhan, but the story of what was done behind the scenes to get rid of Barack's predecessor--Alice Palmer--has not been told. A knowledgeable source tells me that Tony Rezko played a direct role in this feat. And Rezko has been tight with Farrakhan.

It also should come as no surprise that Barack hired two members of the Nation of Islam to work on his staff--Jennifer Mason and Cynthia K. Miller. (And no, I am not merely recycling info initially reported by Debbie Schlussel. I have two independent Chicago sources for this info.) If Jeremiah Wright and Michael Pfleger had kept their yaps buttoned none of this would mean much. But the fact that both men have been--until scrubbed from the website in recent weeks--listed as spiritual advisors to Barack Obama and also are very close to Louis Farrakhan, forces the question about Barack's faith and beliefs.

In probing those matters we begin to understand that the Nation of Islam has been a critical component of Barack Obama's base of support. And, I am told, Louis Farrakhan has been careful to use Tony Rezko as the intermediary in his relationship with Barack. This is not guilt by association, this is guilt because of actual relationship. Farrakhan, Wright, and Pfleger are each on tape in various settings spewing the most vile racists garbage in the guise of preaching. Barack Obama, up to this point, has tried to pretend he had no idea that these men had these thoughts or said these things.

NONSENSE!! He knew and he knows. And the gig will be up when the Michelle tape hits the airwaves. One source described how this tape was acquired. Let's just say that one of the republican candidates who is no longer in the race, but had a dandy oppo research capability, uncovered this gem. That's not a winning platform in November. And Barack's bundlers understand this threat. I also have learned some major financial backers are asking the Barack team about the tape and are being stonewalled. It is a wild card in the political campaign that has not yet played out.

CAIR Teaches Islam In Public Junior High School, ACLU Silent

Guess who is teaching Islam at a public junior Highschool in Texas? CAIR!!! Imagine if it was Christianity being taught…what an outrage we’d hear! So, will the ACLU sue the school for breaching the “wall of seperation of Church and State”? Don’t bet on it.
Kim Leago, whose son is in the eighth grade, said she’s still upset he was exposed to the “inappropriate” presentation.

“We can’t say ‘One nation under God’ in school, so I definitely don’t think (the
presentation) was the right choice,” she said. “I’m not a prejudiced person …
but Muslims, from what I know of the faith, don’t want to be incorporated with
Americans. Look at what’s going on in the world right now, with the war and with
9/11.”

Thsu Spake Ahmadinejad: Israel Will Soon Disappear

He's at it again. The false prophet, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Israel will soon disappear. Here's my prophecy, Iran will be lined with streets of gold, before Israel will disappear.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad predicted on Monday that Muslims
would uproot "satanic powers" and repeated his controversial belief that Israel
will soon disappear, the Mehr news agency reported.

"I must announce that the Zionist
regime (Israel), with a 60-year record of genocide, plunder,
invasion and betrayal is about to die and will soon be erased from the
geographical scene," he said.

"Today, the time for the fall of the satanic power of the United
States has come and the countdown to the annihilation of the emperor of power
and wealth has started."

Since taking the presidency in August 2005, Ahmadinejad has
repeatedly provoked international outrage by predicting Israel is doomed to
disappear.

"I tell you that with the unity and awareness of all the Islamic
countries all the satanic powers will soon be destroyed," he said to a group of
foreign visitors ahead of the 19th anniversary of the death of revolutionary
leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

Ahmadinejad also again expressed his apocalyptic vision that
tyranny in the world be abolished by the return to earth of the Mahdi, the 12th
imam of Shiite Islam, alongside great religious figures including Jesus
Christ.

"With the appearance of the promised saviour... and his companions
such as Jesus Christ, tyranny will be soon be eradicated in the world."

Ahmadinejad has always been a devotee of the Mahdi, who Shiites
believe disappeared more than a thousand years ago and who will return one day
to usher in a new era of peace and harmony.

His emphasis on the Mahdi has been a cause of controversy inside
Iran with critics saying he would be better solving bread-and-butter domestic
problems rather than talking about Iran's divine responsibility.

It would come to no surprise that Britain is vying for the dhimmi award of the decade. Here are to examples.

Take a patriotic teenage motorist, who probably is a soccer fan and wants to show his support for his country, and has the misfortune of being stopped by a dhimmi official – a policeman – on routine patrol.

Its seems the youth was more of a threat to the community’s peace and safety than the local thugs that roam the area - at least to the policemen.
