SNL Fake Black Political Talk Show Thinks Obama Can Do No Wrong… Ever

SNL this week included a fake black talk show starring Kenan Thompson (playing moderator),Kerry Washington (as a black academic), andJay Pharoah (as a black writer), all of whom found no flaw in how President Obama has governed thus far.

The sketch, titled “How’s He Doing?,” joked that the president’s approval among black Americans has fallen to a “staggering” 93.6%, and the two panelists speculated that recent debacles like the NSA snooping and rocky Obamacare rollout were the result of white people being too demanding.

At one point, the host attempted to ask the panelists a series of questions aimed at finding out what it would take for them to no longer support Obama — to hilarious effect. The short answer: You can’t convince them to dislike him.

Norway: Oslo Police: “We Have Lost the City”

The article below is about the apocalyptic level of culturally-enriched violence in Grønland, a district of the city of Oslo.   

Grønland is only two subway stops from the Parliament, and one from the Central Station, fairly close to the government offices that were bombed by Breivik. 

It looks like Karachi, Basra, and Mogadishu all rolled into one. People sell drugs openly just next to the Grønland subway station. 

It's not Norway or Europe anymore, except when there is welfare money to be collected. The police have largely given up. Early in 2010 Aftenposten stated that there are sharia patrols in this area, and gay couples are assaulted and chased away. “Immigrant Fatima Tetouani says that ‘Grønland is more Muslim than Morocco.’” 

Readers should remember that Aftenposten, which is the largest newspaper in the Oslo region, is normally pro-Islamic and very Multicultural.

Sturla Nøstvik (36) did not suspect any danger when the barrel of a pistol was smashed into his forehead. That was the beginning of fifty minutes of hell as a hostage of the robbers. 

The women are being raped at night in Oslo, and the men are robbed more than ever.
In just the past ten years more than 4,000 people have been robbed in the town center and the area of the Grønland police station [an immigrant ghetto]. Most of them are young men. 

Sturla Nøstvik is robbery-victim 351 from Grønland just from this year, the same period in which around fifty assault-rapes have been reported in Oslo. The robbers play on fear, violence, and severe threats that leave a mark on the victims. Police superintendent Inge Sundeng in Grønland describes them as the “somewhat-forgotten victims”. 

The police visited Sturla Nøstvik in the emergency room after the robbery. They told Nøstvik that a gang of robbers had committed many similar robberies in Grünerløkka and surrounding areas in thee past weeks. They told him that everybody should have the right to feel safe, but that they had no way of halting the robberies. “We have lost the city,” they said...

The Washington Post has pulled together the most fascinating ‘inside baseball’ (as John Podhoretz puts it) story I have read since 1972-74.

Being who they are they attempt to put many if not most-all of the poor decisions, appointment, and lack of consultations, on the venomous, unforgiving, Repubs and their death vendetta.

But that is not what emerges.

What emerges is THIS:

By making no effort to find a compromise by which the Executive, Senate and House gathered the SIGNIFICANT OBJECTIVE REALITY of bipartisan effort this administration put itself into a position where unless they were capable of a near perfect START UP of one of, if not THE largest start ups of all time, Obamacare would be a guaranteed failure.

Again and again, because they had no republican support engaged from the passage, they reacted to perceived possible Republican actions to REAL SHORTCOMINGS OF OCARE DEVELOPMENT by  dividing efforts among disparate groups who did not communicate, avoided consulting with their own party in congress, and gave no person ULTIMATE DIRECT responsibility. They also promoted people OUT OF the chain of command during development. This is a staggering unforced error.

If the admin had done otherwise, and acted in a VISIBLE and TRANSPARENT MANNER (which would have indicated that their concern was for an effective act to serve the people) the Admin was AFRAID they would have been denigrated, and lose POLITICALLY.

The reality is the politics, NOT ACTUAL REAL LIVES IN THE USA.

No doubt these actors, and WaPo themselves, view such an attitude as naive. But sooner or later, THAT sensation is the naive one.

Right now the story is the horrendous, farcical web site, (as of this AM 457,466 total views of the shopping premiums page, 455,632 yesterday, so only 1,834 views yesterday), and the individual market uncovering the lies of the president…. but the REAL STORY, that for most people and most business provided insurance - and the need to comply, rates are going up in a measurable, and sometimes in a catastrophic amount. This is going to unfold sometime between now and the election. 

The president CORRECTLY identified the the strategic Schwerpunkt of OCARE. No web site, no market. No market no exchange. No exchange no enrollment. No enrollment (of young, impatient Amazon shoppers), CATASTROPHE.

But even now, these people cannot self correct.

The ‘good news’ is that at 1,800 views a day the web site performs acceptably. That’s 5 or 6 new people signing up yesterday (per CBS data).

The bad news is that your real rate is STILL not shown (and for the reasons stated above, no doubt …FEAR), just the rather optimistic rates as if you are 27 or 50  If you look carefully at the complaints we see right now, you will see they are from those whose REAL rates are >27 and >50, and by as much as a factor of 300%.

There is NOTHING Obama can do about that.

And as the rest of employer provided insurance Americans are going to find in the next 12 months as anniversary dates appear, if you have 3 children and are 30-45 and there aren’t go to be anymore, you are paying in YOUR policy for maternity, lactation, laser surgery for older people, mental health and drug and alcohol provisions et cetera, et cetera, et cetera,. Worse still, watch the deductible and out of pocket expenses you will be FORCED to chance in order to not terribly impact your family disposable income (the only thing America has to recover from this economic state we are in).

I EXPECT that the reactions coming will be so huge that the issue for 2016 will be single payer, because ONLY by demonizing, and painting a picture of rich, powerful, cold and calculating insurers and their institutions, evil drug companies and their rapacious profiteering at the people’s expense, and doctors performing needless revenue generating procedures can the democrats get out from under this amazing place they are in ALL ALONE.

Insurers will be plain OUT OF BUSINESS. Think about the consequences for a few moments.

All Hospitals will be VA Hospitals.

Drug companies will be indistinguishable from utility operations.

Doctors will become salaried appendages of state policy.

This is what every leading democrat has stated they want, but with a picture painted with other words.

Not one Republican found a way to support this, and none was sought by compromise of any realistic kind.

The democrats got precisely what they wanted, and they had no idea how to translate that victory into REALITY.

UK Bishop, Michael Nazir-Ali Warns UK's Issuance of Islamic Bonds Could Lead To More Sharia Law

Michael Nazir-Ali is a great man. It's too bad the English people are not able to keep up with him.

David Cameron’s plans to issue sharia-compliant bonds open the way to Islamic law being enforced at the heart of government, a senior clergyman has warned. 

Dr Michael Nazir-Ali, the former bishop of Rochester, said proposals to make Britain the first non-Muslim country to sell a bond that complies with sharia could trigger a series of “unforeseen consequences”. 

He also voiced broader fears that Christianity was being increasingly excluded from the administration of law, after one of Britain’s most senior judges said members of the judiciary were “secular” figures serving a “multicultural community”. 

Last week the Prime Minister set out plans for Britain to issue a sukuk, a form of debt that is in line with Islamic law, because it avoids the prohibited use of “riba”, or interest. 

The bonds, which will be worth around £200 million, would pay a fixed return based on the profit generated by an underlying asset, such as government buildings. 

However, Dr Nazir-Ali, who holds dual British and Pakistani citizenship, said of the plans: “This means that the Government itself will be subject to sharia in its dealings on these bonds. 

“At the moment the issue is pretty modest, but how much will it grow? There’s a lot of liquidity out there and it could grow pretty rapidly, and then you may face a situation where a major part of your financial system is governed by sharia-compliant considerations.” 

He added: “Before we take these steps that could have unforeseen consequences we do need greater public discussion, greater explanation of what actually is being done and what it is we are letting ourselves in for.” 

The bishop said that a public debate on the introduction of the bonds should include whether sharia judges should be allowed to adjudicate in disputes over government-backed investments. 

“They must be taking advice already from sharia scholars to put together these products. Has there been any discussion that such advice can be taken and that such adjudication can be acceptable in terms of official policy?”

Jewish convert to Islam pleads guilty to inciting

Here's some news on the disturbing case of a Jewish convert to the Religion of Peace, who'd once been a Haredi, and even threatened other Haredis:

A Jewish convert to Islam pleaded guilty to inciting violence, including a call to leave Chabad headquarters in New York “a message from Islam.”

“Yousef Mohamid Al-Khattab (a.k.a. Joseph Cohen), 45, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, pleaded guilty yesterday to using his position as a leader of the ‘Revolution Muslim’ websites to use the Internet to place others in fear of serious bodily injury,” said an October 31 statement from the Alexandria, Va., office of the FBI.

[...] Many of his incendiary calls were made during Operation Cast Lead in 2009, among them a call to seek out leaders of Jewish federations “and deal with them in their homes.”

He also posted a map with directions to Chabad headquarters and, according to The Washington Post, called on his readers to “make EVERY attempt to reach these people and teach them the message of Islam or leave them a message of Islam.”

The Philadelphia Magazine has more on some of his horrific filth, which includes:

He posted a message asking Allah to punish Jewish people using “liquid drain cleaner in their faces” and by making “their fingers and brains stick on cafe walls from impact.”

How did this man become so repulsive? He now serves as one of the most frightening examples of a Jew who takes up a belief system that targets people of his racial background. I am truly disgusted with him. I hope he receives a serious, long prison sentence for the crimes he committed.

Democrat proposes doctors to be compelled to serve Medicare and Medicaid ..Atlas Shrugged's 10-289 STARTS?

We have already seen insurance companies (that worked with Obama to garner a compelled market) called bad apples.

You would think that when your party is burying a hole that is getting harder and harder to get out of, you wouldn’t want to that hole get deeper faster.  But here is Kathleen Murphy, Democrat running for the House of Delegates against Barbara Comstock, telling a forum in Great Falls that she believes it should law to force doctors to accept Medicare and Medicaid patients.  Forced by government decree, mind you.  A birdie sent me this:

FYI last night at the Great Falls Grange debate, Democrat delegate candidate Kathleen Murphy said that since many doctors are not accepting medicaid and medicare patients, she advocates making it a legal requirement for those people to be accepted.  

She did not recognize that the payments are inadequate to cover the doctors’ costs.  She also did not recognize there is a shortage of over 45,000 physicians now and that it is forecast to be 90,000 in a few years.

This article in the WSJ is a fascinating look at how direction to achieve ends is formed in this administration. There can be no argument that ‘accuracy’, i.e. truth, reality, and facts are second to making the sale.

WSJ:

As President Barack Obama pushed for a new federal health law in 2009, he made a simple pledge: If you like your insurance plan, you can keep your plan. But behind the scenes, White House officials discussed whether that was a promise they could keep.

When the question arose, Mr. Obama’s advisers decided that the assertion was fair, interviews with more than a dozen people involved in crafting and explaining the president’s health-care plan show.

But at times, there was second-guessing. At one point, aides discussed whether Mr. Obama might use more in-depth discussions, such as media interviews, to explain the nuances of the succinct line in his stump speeches, a former aide said. Officials worried, though, that delving into details such as the small number of people who might lose insurance could be confusing and would clutter the president’s message.

Notice, NUANCE=LIE.

A is A as someone, who has turned out to be a rather accurate observer of human nature and markets in this Obamacare debacle, once wrote.

The former official added that in the midst of a hard-fought political debate “if you like your plan, you can probably keep it” isn’t a salable point.

"With 20/20 hindsight, maybe this should have been parsed more carefully,” said Jim Margolis, a media adviser to Mr. Obama’s campaigns in 2008 and 2012, said of Mr. Obama’s broad promise. But, he added, "The president’s statement seems fair."

Notice, PARSE=LIE

At the time the law was being written, Mr. Obama was trying to make the case for the health-care overhaul in understandable terms, and in an environment in which Republicans were casting it as a “big government” takeover of the health system. Mr. Obama’s aides were focused on telling people that disruption would be minimal and benefits from the law substantial.

Imagine if they had said, “this will create a disaster for some part of 15 million people, maybe most of them, AT A MINIMUM, also greatly expand the burden of Medicaid in those states accepting the 1-2 year of $ from the govt for expansion, and be nearly impossible to administer,secure and introduce, but please pressure your congressman and senator to vote for it, also it will be 1/3 to 3 times more expensive if you have to pay, and we can’t tell you how much your tax credit is if you qualify until later. We don’t know when”

If all this is not a lesson to the public, we deserve all the pain we get.

Imagine if they had started to deduct random amounts of SS withholding and when the time came to retire you got a letter stating that the amount to be sent to you would be determined soon.

One former senior administration official said that as the law was being crafted by the White House and lawmakers, some White House policy advisers objected to the breadth of Mr. Obama’s “keep your plan” promise. They were overruled by political aides, the former official said. The White House said it was unaware of the objections.

The Federal Communications Commission is planning a broad probe of political speech across media platforms, an unprecedented move that raises serious First Amendment concerns.

The FCC’s proposed “Multi-Market Study of Critical Information Needs,” which is set to begin a field test in a single market with an eye toward a comprehensive study in 2014, would collect a remarkably wide range of information on demographics, point of view, news topic selection, management style and other factors in news organizations both in and out of the FCC’s traditional purview.

The airwaves regulator would also subject news producers in all media to invasive questioning about their work and content.
