EU drone spying on Jewish towns crashes near Mt. Hevron

A drone with a video camera which crashed in a wooded area on Mount Hevron revealed a European Union (EU) espionage operation intended to spy on and gather intelligence about Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. 

The footage from the drone was retrieved after it crashed in view of residents of the town of Ma'on in Judea, Channel 2 reported. The footage shows the drone flying low over residents before crashing next to a car. It was then retrieved by the residents. 

The residents took the drone to the Regavim Movement for Preservation of State Lands, which examined the drone and was shocked to discover that it was sent by the EU, supposedly an honest broker, acting in conjunction with residents of Arab towns and villages to spy on Jewish towns in Judea and Samaria, some of which contain IDF bases and antennas. 

The drone contained many such espionage videos, the final one being of its crash. 

The Regavim organization blamed the government's failure to act against illegal construction of Arab housing by the EU for this brazen act of espionage against Jewish communities and IDF locations. Arab building in Area C without permits is against the Oslo Accords. 

"What started as illegal construction continues and now is harmful to [our] security." said Oved Arad, the head of the land division of Regavim. 

"For years the European Union was involved in illegal construction in Judea and Samaria. Now it turns out that EU officials, together with the Palestinians, are even documenting Israeli settlements and sensitive locations in Judea and Samaria. The Foreign Ministry must respond strongly and unequivocally against this activity, which crosses a red line and is very dangerous."

In a speech delivered Wednesday, that was supposed to be the pièce de résistance for one of the dumbest men to take up space in the political class, John Forbes Kerry declared himself an anti-Semite. 

He was not that polite about either. 

If he had simply said, “I hate Jews” that would be better than what he actually said. Specifically he said, “Israel can either be Jewish or democratic, but it cannot be both.” 

In other words, he hates the very concept of Judaism, not just a particular manifestation of it. 

The implication, the only way to interpret it, is that he thinks Judaism is incompatible with liberal democracy. There’s never been a time when he has hinted at the same argument with regards to Islam. He has not even said this about Christianity. That would be laughably stupid, but Lurch is a laughably stupid man. 

No, he specifically singled out Judaism for this argument. Judaism is incompatible with democracy. Presumably, he would argue that Jews can either be Jewish or citizens of a democracy, but not both.

The Parties are Dead – Long Live the New Political Parties

It’s customary in the start of a new year for prognosticators to give their predictions of the year – or even years – to follow.

So here’s mine.

Both political parties – the donkeys and elephants – are DEAD. The Democrats are dead but their leadership refuses to acknowledge it. Their canned response is always, “Americans wants what we are offering – i.e., the message – it’s just that we have our ‘messaging’ wrong.”

AKA – the definition of insanity – when proven wrong redouble your efforts.

The only ‘Americans’ that want what they are shoveling is the little strips of blue ‘paradise’ on each coast and a hand full of Leftist controlled urban areas scattered around the country. The donkey crowd will have to change their message if they are to remain a viable national party.

The Republican Party is no better. If Trump succeeds in what he has promised, the RINO will become an endangered species. Trump is no Republican. He ran as an Independent candidate within the Republican Party. He did what every critic of third-party candidates has tried to do over the last several decades with only Ross Perot making a go at it. (The Green Party, the Looserterian Party, etc, etc.)

Trump, if he is successful, will absolutely change the face of the Republican Party for Trump is what Newt Gingrich has said. Trump is NOT a conservative or a Republican but an alley to both. Trump has – I hope – created a Party based on common sense – not ideology.

So what’s my prediction?

If the DNC retains their current leadership of Socialists and Marxists, the 2020 midterms will be the final nail in the Democratic Socialist Party’s coffin. Remember the DNC Presidential debate when the three candidates were on stage and the host asked,” How many of you are socialists?” and they all raised their hands.

So what’s to come for the donkeys. When the last remnants of the Democrat Socialist Party are swept out the door in 2020, a new group of real liberals – I say real liberals like Truman, Kennedy and Johnson -  will begin to take back their Party.

Watch for them. We have no idea who they are but you will begin to see them raise their heads over next two years.

They will take a page from Trump’s book and these new young Turks will create a Populist version of the what Trump has done to the Republican Party to re-claim the mantel of what liberals claim to be for - the working man – the unknown man.

When that happens, it will raise a very interesting prospect for 2024. A Trumped Republican Party of common sense competing with a Democratic Liberal Party of common sense for the attention and votes the American people.

We may see again a true two-party form of government that seeks compromise and not confrontation.

It will be the reawaking of America and the start of a Second American Century.

Donald Trump's team wants to invite Benjamin Netanyahu to attend the presidential inauguration ceremony on the 20th:

President-elect Donald Trump’s advisers want to invite Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu to the inauguration or arrange a meeting of the two leaders before then, a source close to the transition said.

Transition leaders led by Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner have been aggressively courting Netanyahu and want him to attend the Jan. 20 festivities, the source said.

“There’s a plan for Trump to meet with Netanyahu,” the source said. “They’re talking all the time. And Netanyahu is talking about possibly going to the inauguration.”

Netanyahu congratulated Trump on his victory a day after the presidential election, and Trump had invited the Israeli leader to meet in the US at his “first opportunity.”

It's a very good idea, and a splendid way of showing Israel the hospitality Obama's administration didn't.

Kano (Nigeria) (AFP) - One person was seriously injured when a suicide bomber aged around 10 blew herself up in a New Year's Eve attack in the northeastern Nigerian city of Maiduguri, witnesses and aid workers told AFP Sunday. 

The girl approached a crowd buying noodles from a food vendor in the Customs area of the city around 9:30 pm on Saturday and detonated her explosives, they said. 

Although no one has claimed responsibility the attack bore the hallmark of Boko Haram Islamists who are notorious for using suicide bombers, mostly women and young girls, in attacking civilian targets. 

"The girl walked towards the crowd but she blew up before she could reach her target," said witness Grema Usman who lives in the area. 

"She died instantly, while one person was seriously hurt after after he was hit by shrapnel." "(Judging) from her corpse the girl was around 10 years old," Usman said. 

An aid worker involved in the evacuation of the body gave a similar estimate of the bomber's age. 

"The girl was clearly not more than 10 ..." the aid worker suggested.

January 15th: 70 Nations Will Gather In Paris To Discuss The Creation Of A Palestinian State

On January 15th, representatives from 70 different countries will gather in Paris, France for an unprecedented global conference.  The stated goal of this conference is to promote a “two-state solution” as the way that lasting peace will be brought to the Middle East.  In Israel, there is a tremendous amount of concern that whatever is agreed upon at this conference will immediately be used as the basis for a UN Security Council resolution that would permanently divide the land of Israel and create a Palestinian state.  But things would have to move very rapidly in order for that to happen, because Barack Obama’s time in the White House comes to an end on January 20th, and Donald Trump has already made it exceedingly clear that he would never support such a resolution.

The UN Security Council resolution that was passed on Friday was one of the most significant events that we have witnessed in decades.  Resolution 2334 made all Israeli settlements in the West Bank and in East Jerusalem illegal, it set the 1967 ceasefire lines as the border between the Israelis and the Palestinians, and it granted every single inch of East Jerusalem to the Palestinians.  But it stopped short of giving official UN Security Council recognition to a Palestinian state, and that is why this conference on January 15th is so important.

On Wednesday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will lay out a plan which many believe will serve as the blueprint for the upcoming conference in Paris.  This is something that I discussed yesterday.  Apparently Kerry has been working on this for quite some time, and according to the Times of Israel, Jewish officials are fearful that he may propose something drastic…

At a press briefing Tuesday, State Department spokesman Mark Toner confirmed Kerry’s plans for the speech, though he refused to detail whether the top US diplomat would use the opportunity to announce a new American initiative, which officials in Jerusalem fear he may.

Toner said the secretary holds the conviction that “it is his duty in his remaining weeks and days as secretary of state to lay out what he believes is a way towards a two-state solution” and that “it’s always important to keep the process moving forward.”

If Kerry’s plan is embraced by the conference in Paris, it is anticipated by many that it would serve as the basis for a UN Security Council resolution that would formally create a Palestinian state before Donald Trump is inaugurated on January 20th.  The following comes from the Guardian…

The Israeli government is reportedly fearful that any guidelines agreed in Paris would be turned into another UN resolution before Trump’s inauguration, and it has ratcheted up its rhetoric, presenting itself as the victim of an international conspiracy.

A spokesman for Netanyahu claimed to have “ironclad evidence” that the Obama administration had plotted behind the scenes to promote the UN resolution. Israel has said it will present evidence against the Obama administration to the incoming Trump team.

Jordan administered the West Bank but simply walked away from that commitment.

Police arrested a North-african on the Autobahn at Walldorf during a routine traffic stop. The man had a sawed off shotgun and several fake ID cards with him. The car was stolen as well as the license plates. 

In the trunk of the car the police found materials that can be used to create a pipe bomb. According to RNF info (the website), the suspect is a 46 year old Franco-Tunisian who lives in France. Police and prosecution have not officially taken a position yet.
