Politically Correct AI: Siri Auto-Correcting People Who Ask About Bruce Jenner To “Caitlyn”

The last time Siri was in the news, it was because Apple’s AI was just straight-up insulting people who asked it a question it thought was stupid. But we’re happy to report that Siri’s got a progressive streak. 

An intrepid Tumblr user noted that Siri has begun correcting people who refer to Caitlyn Jenner as “Bruce,” the name she used before transitioning from male to female this year. 

And if you ask Siri, “What gender is Bruce Jenner?” Siri tells you “The answer is female.”

Increasingly there is little to no difference between robots like Siri and the PC automatons we are surrounded by in American society.
