SOME people do a disservice to the name CONSERVATIVE

From an excellent article in The Federalist on the CIVIL WAR in the REPUBLICAN PARTY by Ben Domenech we had a little swerve in discussion..
What’s amazing here is the lack of cognizance that the ‘jews’ being referred to here are to a discernible extent among the most conservative Americans imaginable .. such as Alan Greenspan, and Milton Friedman, or Ari Fleischer, and Sheldon Adelson

There is a signing involved with Israel, unfortunately. It seems more to do with an excuse for war mongering, but I when I’ve said “Israel is one of our best buddy countries and always will be, but America first” you would not believe the howls of antisemitism I received for that thought. I still do in a private discussion board.

I’m an american who happens to be Jewish. There are several reasons to hold Israel close, like maybe if we cut them off there WILL be a cataclysmic nuclear war there,or they buy 300 SU-35’s cheap, or J-20’s from China and swap Elbit and Rafael avionics for a good deal and then Americans over the Taiwan strait or Black Sea are up against that, or they stop contracting with us to write all that software for many of our BMD vehicles. But Israel has it’s own issues, problems and directions. We should treat them like Britain. Maybe like Canada. But they are not us, and we have to think of ourselves. I can’t see any other way.
Complicating this however is that there are so few Jews in the world, that many of us feel if there is no Israel, in the end given the technologies and antisemitism today. ultimately there will be no judaism and no jews. DO factor that in amid the howls.
