Maybe Don't Even Bother
With the Whole "Keep Calm" Part
So Trump promised us, and he didn't mean to deliver.
I don't know about you, but that makes me VERY ANGRY.
From Breitbart:
President Donald Trump has picked an economic advisor who believes in growing the nation’s economy by importing workers and consumers, and by expanding free-trade outsourcing, despite Trump’s “buy American, hire American” campaign promises. Kevin Hassett is slated to become chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors if he is approved by the Senate’s banking committee.
If Hassett is confirmed, that will be a win for the corporatist, business-first faction in Trump’s White House, which fights for influence in the Oval Office against the populist, America-first faction that helped Trump win the election in November.GO READ THE WHOLE THING.

If this is right ... and action to keep promises are not taken, 2018 will have a record LOW republican turnout, the potential HUGE gains the R's might have made in the senate willnot occur and there will be a landslide for Dems in the House, and a 'Bernie', WILL BE the next prez with control of both houses, and Trump will be a forgotten betrayal of a prez, a case study in voiding campaign promises, and will cause the END of the party(and good riddance)
If this report is accurate.
So much shit is flying that I find it hard to discern what the truth is.
Damn.
It is a council not a Cabinet post. I don't lose sleep over this one. I also believe the situation is far more complex and fluid than an "us against them" paradigm.
Myopia is never good nor is it good to place more emphasis on the ring (of thought) than the players inside the ring. I don't view Trump by the ropes which he is bouncing against, but by the man whom I believe him to be. I do not believe Trump worked this hard to throw the fight.
We will do fine in the mid-terms. That is my feeling.
TLEP,
We will do fine in the mid-terms.
I am not that confident.
We shall see soon enough.
