The Saudis are the only people who consistently surprise me by taking a completely unexpected stupid position on everything.

The Saudis are pro-Jihad and pro-Sharia. So what is their excuse?
As has often been noted, Allah is even more murderous towards his own people than he is towards non-Muslims.
Allah must have told the Saudi prince it was time to sacrifice another million Muslims on his bloodthirsty altar.

Our annoyance might be related to IP3, their cohorts and cabal of U.S. retired Generals who have tried to own the POTUS and circumvent inter-agency and Cabinet level oversight for building nuclear power plants in Saudi Arabia.

There is money to be made in Saudi Arabia (think Westinghouse, for starters) and we want our piece of the pie.

Regarding the situation in China - it is beyond the pale for any decent human behavior. China is an open air prison with one billion prisoners.
