Sam Brinton: Should We Harbor a Concern?
When I first saw the image, my thought was, “Is that a spent nuclear rod shoved up that man’s ass?”
Here is the deal. When in the Navy, there was a fellow officer who lost his direct commission after it was found he had lied on his officer application regarding an incident in Middle School. Vandalism.
It was simply, vandalism.
He was actually dragged away from operational training at Camp Pendleton and we never saw him again.
I recommended the separation of an officer who worked under my department chain of command whose mandatory ten year clearance review revealed a fetish behavior that involved (redacted).
I was asked to never speak of the exact nature of the matter. I have kept the confidence, and my oath.
So how the Hell, is Sam Brinton allowed a presidential appointment which undoubtedly requires a secret or top secret security clearance?
And if this is allowed, why not pass out clearances to homeless vagrants… petty criminals… pedophiles?
Character counts. Mental stability counts. Sanity, counts for a lot.
