Dallas Good, Lead Singer And Guitarist Of The Sadies, Dead At 48

Dallas Good, lead singer and guitarist of Canadian rock band The Sadies, died earlier this week, according to the band’s Facebook page. He was 48 and died while under a doctor’s care for coronary heart disease discovered earlier this week, according to reports.

Good was the son of Bruce Good of bluegrass band The Good Brothers, a Juno Award-winning band that was inducted into the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame in 2004.

In 1994, Dallas and his brother Travis co-founded The Sadies, releasing their debut album, “Precious Moments”, in 1998. The group became a solid member of the early 2000s alt-country scene and produced several notable albums , including “Darker Circles” in 2010.”, which was on the Polaris Music Prize list of snaps.
