Terrible: 16-month-old baby suddenly died in daycare

A 16-month-old baby died in a Belgian nursery last Friday. The baby was taken to hospital, but help was of no avail. The emergency services received a report last Friday. This came from a crèche at the Ferdinand Lousbergkaai. The report was about a 16-month-old child who was no longer breathing. The care providers rushed to the nursery and immediately transferred the baby to UZ Gent. There it was tragically established that the child was 0past, the public prosecutor of East Flanders reports in a message. A medical examiner then conducted an investigation. He has determined that it is a naturaldeath for which no one is to blame.

The young Flore Deseure (18) from Koolkerke (Bruges) passed awayunexpectedly this week due to a medical failure. Spermalie, her former school, sent a mourning message to the world. “She had a great career waiting for her,” it sounds. Until last year, Flore went to school at the Spermalie Hotel and Tourism School in Bruges, which posted a mourning message on social media. In the night from Sunday to Monday, Chelsea Biebuyck from Veurne diedin her sleep of heart failure. The girl was perfectly healthy. She did have temporary knee problems, so she had to follow the lesson via Bednet. “This farewell hits so hard,” responds deputy director Els Degraeve of VABI in Roeselare, where Veurn studied animal care. "Chelsea was loved and stood with her two feet in life."
