In the waning weeks of the Biden Cabal, billionaire investor Marc Andreessen described administration efforts to effectively cartelize the AI industry, putting it tightly in Washington's grip.
According to Andreessen, Biden officials told him that "AI is going to be a game of two or three big companies working closely with the government."
"We had meetings in DC," he went on, "and the meetings were absolutely horrifying. They said, look, AI is a technology basically, that the government is going to completely control. This is not going to be a startup thing. They, they actually said flat out to us, don't do AI startups like, don't fund AI startups. It's not something that we're going to allow to happen."
So far, so fascist. But it gets worse.
Andreessen also said, "I'm paraphrasing, but we're going to basically wrap them in a government cocoon. We're going to protect them from competition, we're going to control them, we're going to dictate what they do."
The most powerful software in the world, under the control of a multitrillion-dollar Deep State.
For all the times lefties and Democrats accused conservatives of being fascists, you've never seen such a ruthless power grab — and be thankful it failed.
That isn't to say there aren't dangers inherent in AI, or that some regulation isn't called for. What I am saying is that you don't want it under the control of unelected bureaucrats working hand-in-hand with the likes of Sen. Bernie Sanders (CPUSA-Vt. Oblast) or up-and-comers like Abdul El-Sayed.
Think of it as the difference between police bodycams and Flock cameras. Bodycams only put police interactions in government hands, but Flock records, recognizes, and collates everything for government dissemination.
All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
