Serial Hoaxer Michelle Fields Accused Mark Dice of Harrassment

The same woman who accused Trump manager Corey Lewandoski of manhandling her, also accused Mark Dice of harassing her in 2012.

An Anonymous commenter left this intelligent point:
... in all due fairness to both Mark Dice and Michelle Fields...Mark Dice admits in the video clip that he recognized Fields and was familiar with her work.
Perhaps Fields reluctance to respond to Mark Dice was because she was also familiar with his work and did not want to appear on one of his videos being punked.
Dice is a smooth operator and having familiarity with his video interviews should I find myself in her situation with the opening exchange being a compliment as he did with Fields - such a situation would also give me pause to respond.

Transgender teen refused army service to protest "occupation"

Here's an example of a transgender/homosexual Israeli demonstrating the position quite a few LGBTs seem to side with, no matter how dimly Islamists look upon homosexuality:
A transgender Israeli teenager, jailed for refusing to join the military as a conscientious objector, petitioned the Israel Defense Forces on Thursday to be moved to a women's prison.

Aiden Katri, 19, is the first Israeli transgender woman to be jailed for refusing to serve in the military.

Noa Levy, a lawyer from Mesarvot, a group that supports Israelis refusing to serve in the military on ideological grounds, said the request was made on Thursday.

Levy said that Katri was jailed earlier this week and that she could have gotten out of the army but wanted to actively refuse service to protest against Israel's presence in parts of the West Bank and its policies toward the Palestinians.

Levy said Katri wanted to protest "the occupation."
Interestingly, unlike some cases now plaguing the USA, where transgenders want, say, to use public restrooms reserved for the opposite sex, this traitor did not ask to be put in a prison for men. But I have a feeling that, despite the hostility to LGBTs in Muslim societies, this woman wanted to make a name for herself as a transgender who sides with the enemies and their propaganda. She's a disgrace, and does not deserve much more attention than what's she's getting now.

France's Police Depts. Have a Problem With Muslims In Their Ranks

From the German news site, Jungen Freiheit:
PARIS: The French police have a problem with Islamists in their ranks. In a confidential document from the Ministry of Public Security (Prefecture of Police) obtained by the newspaper Le Parisien, there is discussion of 17 cases of radicalization between 2012 and 2015.
According to that, officers on patrol heard widespread Muslim chanting. Also emphasized was the refusal to participate in a moment of silence for victims of terrorism. Further, Muslim police officers are said to have refused to guard synagogues.

Hungary says 900 'no-go areas' in Europe

From AFP:
Budapest (AFP) - Europe has more than 900 "no-go areas" with large immigrant populations, Hungary's government claims on a hard-hitting new website aimed at drumming up opposition to an EU scheme to share out migrants around the bloc.
In these areas "with a high number of immigrants", for example in Paris, London, Stockholm or Berlin, the authorities have "little or no control" and "norms of the host society barely prevail," the site says.
Asked for the source of the information, government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs told AFP on Friday it came from "data publicly available on the Internet," without giving further details.
The website, launched this week ahead of referendum in Hungary in the second half of the year on the EU quota plan, also features a ticking clock representing a migrant entering Europe every 12 seconds.
"The mandatory European quotas increase the terrorist risk in Europe and imperils our culture," the website says. "Illegal migrants cross the borders unchecked, so we do not know who they are and what their intentions are. We do not know how many of them are disguised as terrorists," it adds.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban's government voted against an EU plan in September to distribute 160,000 asylum-seekers among member states via quotas, and in December joined Slovakia in filing a legal complaint.
So far, only 1,100 have been relocated, with Hungary not taking a single one. If Hungarian voters reject the quotas in the referendum, as surveys suggest, this would be another blow for the troubled scheme.

A programming language for living cells

From Physics.org:
MIT biological engineers have created a programming language that allows them to rapidly design complex, DNA-encoded circuits that give new functions to living cells.
Using this language, anyone can write a program for the function they want, such as detecting and responding to certain environmental conditions. They can then generate a DNA sequence that will achieve it.
"It is literally a programming language for bacteria," says Christopher Voigt, an MIT professor of biological engineering.
"You use a text-based language, just like you're programming a computer. Then you take that text and you compile it and it turns it into a DNA sequence that you put into the cell, and the circuit runs inside the cell."
Voigt and colleagues at Boston University and the National Institute of Standards and Technology have used this language, which they describe in the April issue of Science, to build circuits that can detect up to three inputs and respond in different ways.
Future applications for this kind of programming include designing bacterial cells that can produce a cancer drug when they detect a tumor, or creating yeast cells that can halt their own fermentation process if too many toxic byproducts build up.
The researchers plan to make the user design interface available on the Web.
No experience needed
Over the past 15 years, biologists and engineers have designed many genetic parts, such as sensors, memory switches, and biological clocks, that can be combined to modify existing cell functions and add new ones.
However, designing each circuit is a laborious process that requires great expertise and often a lot of trial and error.
"You have to have this really intimate knowledge of how those pieces are going to work and how they're going to come together," Voigt says.
Users of the new programming language, however, need no special knowledge of genetic engineering.
"You could be completely naive as to how any of it works. That's what's really different about this," Voigt says. "You could be a student in high school and go onto the Web-based server and type out the program you want, and it spits back the DNA sequence."
The language is based on Verilog, which is commonly used to program computer chips.
To create a version of the language that would work for cells, the researchers designed computing elements such as logic gates and sensors that can be encoded in a bacterial cell's DNA. The sensors can detect different compounds, such as oxygen or glucose, as well as light, temperature, acidity, and other environmental conditions. Users can also add their own sensors.
"It's very customizable," Voigt says. The biggest challenge, he says, was designing the 14 logic gates used in the circuits so that they wouldn't interfere with each other once placed in the complex environment of a living cell.
In the current version of the programming language, these genetic parts are optimized for E. coli, but the researchers are working on expanding the language for other strains of bacteria, including Bacteroides, commonly found in the human gut, and Pseudomonas, which often lives in plant roots, as well as the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
This would allow users to write a single program and then compile it for different organisms to get the right DNA sequence for each one.
Biological circuits
Using this language, the researchers programmed 60 circuits with different functions, and 45 of them worked correctly the first time they were tested. Many of the circuits were designed to measure one or more environmental conditions, such as oxygen level or glucose concentration, and respond accordingly.
Another circuit was designed to rank three different inputs and then respond based on the priority of each one. One of the new circuits is the largest biological circuit ever built, containing seven logic gates and about 12,000 base pairs of DNA. Another advantage of this technique is its speed.
Until now, "it would take years to build these types of circuits. Now you just hit the button and immediately get a DNA sequence to test," Voigt says.
His team plans to work on several different applications using this approach: bacteria that can be swallowed to aid in digestion of lactose; bacteria that can live on plant roots and produce insecticide if they sense the plant is under attack; and yeast that can be engineered to shut off when they are producing too many toxic byproducts in a fermentation reactor.

At least FIFTY ISIS supporters are working as baggage handlers, cleaners and catering staff at Brussels airport, claim police

From the Daily Mail:
Police at Brussels airport have claimed at least 50 Islamic State supporters are working there as baggage handlers, cleaners and catering staff.
In an astonishing open letter, the officers said they have warned about the terrorist sympathisers whose security badges give them access to planes, but they remain employed.
The airport police, who are threatening to go on strike because of security deficiencies, also said they have raised the issue of terrorists scouting the airport to plan possible attacks.
The extraordinary claims come after the Mail reported how the family of two of the bombers involved in the attacks last week said they had worked as cleaners at the airport. ‘Some people suspected of having fought in Syria came to the airport as “false tourists”.
We reported their presence but we do not know if anything was done with that information,’ the airport police wrote in their letter.
The officers said they had raised suspicions about certain staff members including those who apparently celebrated after the Paris attacks in November that killed 130 people.
‘When we checked these people, we were surprised more than once. It was men with a radical ideology and a long police history,’ the officers continued.
‘Even today, there are at least 50 supporters of the Islamic state who work at the airport. They have a security badge and have access to the cockpit of a plane.

Turkish President Erdogan’s Security Guards Rough Up Journalists And D.C. Police At D.C. Event

Turkey, the moderate Muslim nation that people like Obama see as a future part of Europe.

From Mashable:
Turkish security services brought their strong-arm tactics to Washington on Thursday, roughing up protesters, journalists and even D.C. police before a speech by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The event descended into chaos and violence outside the Brookings Institute near D.C.’s Dupont Circle after the president’s security personnel confronted a small group of people gathered to protest Erdogan’s visit.
Erdogan was in town to meet with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Wednesday and deliver a speech at Brookings before attending this week’s Nuclear Security Summit in the capitol.
Reporters and onlookers captured the whole pandemonium in photos and videos, which they shared on Twitter in real-time.
At least one journalist was removed by Turkish security and another was kicked, according to Foreign Policy.
A third was thrown to the sidewalk in front of the institution's front doors.
A fourth, Turkish journalist, Amberin Zaman, was called a "whore," she said.
Some demonstrators held a sign reading "Erdogan: War Criminal On The Loose," while another shouted through a megaphone that Erdogan was a "baby-killer."
As the protesters tried to cross the street, D.C. police officers blocked traffic and physically separated them from Turkish personnel, said Foreign Policy.
Turkish security then clashed with the D.C. cops, who refused to remove protesters from the premises.
Inside the event, Turkish security personnel reportedly even tried to forcibly remove an American journalist, but were stopped by Brookings' own security, which sat the man back down.

Belgian vice PM admits: Muslims celebrated in the streets after Brussels jihad massacre, media ignored them

Muslims Celebrating

From Jihad Watch:
THE HAGUE, Netherlands (JTA) – In the days following terrorist attacks in Brussels, street celebrations broke out in several places in Belgium, the county’s vice prime minister said.
Jan Jambon made the statement about the March 22 bombings, which killed 35 people, on Wednesday during a symposium titled “Terrorism, Israel and International Law” and organized by the Dutch anti-racism and pro-Israel lobby group CIDI, or the Center of Information and Documentation on Israel, in The Hague.
Jambon, a rightist politician, made the remark while acknowledging Belgium has a jihadism problem.
One of Europe’s smallest countries, Belgium is the continent’s biggest per capita source of jihadists fighting in Syria and Iraq, CNN reported. In February, Jambon revealed Belgium’s intelligence services have flagged 451 citizens as jihadists. But, Jambon said, racial profiling of jihadists is ineffective.
He also said jihadists hail from various backgrounds, “including doctors, lawyers, and common criminals,” and not only from poor environments. Only one in six jihadists comes from a poor home in Belgium, he said.
Jambon urged better pan-European cooperation on terrorism. Jambon’s statement on street celebrations follows criticism of the media’s failure to cover such events, including by the prime minister of the Flemish Region, one of the federal Belgian state’s three autonomous states.
Flemish Prime Minister Geer Bourgeois said that shortly before the attacks, which are believed to have been the work of Islamic State terrorists, his region’s public broadcaster did not report on riots by Muslims.
The attacks happened four days after the arrest of Salah Abdelslam, a suspected terrorist alleged to have been involved in terrorist attacks that killed 130 people in Paris last November.
“It is, to me, highly shocking that after Abdelslam’s arrest, 200 young people of foreign origins hurled spontaneously bottles and stones on our police,” Bourgeois said. “It is regrettable that we saw nothing of these images on national television news.”
VRT, the Flemish public broadcaster, said it did not report about the incident for technical reasons and not out of a desire to silence it.
