Source: COVID-19 ALERT Apr 16, 2020 16 days ago COVID-19 Alert: To add to many studies already showing that the deadly and potent ways the SARS-Cov-2 has of attacking various human host cells and also critical proteins and cellular pathways in the human cells, a new collaborative study by researchers from the United States and China now shows that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus also attacks the T Lymphocytes similarly to the way that HIV viruses act.
The human immune system has many components that work together in protecting the body from foreign invaders. One of the most important types of immune cells is T lymphocytes or T cells, a type of white blood cell that acts as the core of adaptive immunity, the system that modifies the immune response to specific pathogens.
Researchers from the New York Blood Centre and also from Fudan University in Shanghai have discovered that the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus which causes the COVID-19 disease that often results severe acute respiratory syndrome also attacks the immune system’s T lymphocytes.
The worrying findings highlight the destructive power of the novel coronavirus, which can destroy the immune system, leaving the patient vulnerable and unable to fight off the infection.
The researchers’ surprise discovery has shed light on the potency of the novel coronavirus is killing powerful immune cells, which are supposed to kill the virus instead.RTWT.
AND THEN THERE'S THIS:
Uncanny similarity of unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV spike protein to HIV-1
ABSTRACT
We are currently witnessing a major epidemic caused by the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019- nCoV). The evolution of 2019-nCoV remains elusive. We found 4 insertions in the spike glycoprotein (S) which are unique to the 2019-nCoV and are not present in other coronaviruses. Importantly, amino acid residues in all the 4 inserts have identity or similarity to those in the HIV1 gp120 or HIV-1 Gag. Interestingly, despite the inserts being discontinuous on the primary amino acid sequence, 3D-modelling of the 2019-nCoV suggests that they converge to constitute the receptor binding site. The finding of 4 unique inserts in the 2019-nCoV, all of which have identity /similarity to amino acid residues in key structural proteins of HIV-1 is unlikely to be fortuitous in nature. This work provides yet unknown insights on 2019-nCoV and sheds light on the evolution and pathogenicity of this virus with important implications for diagnosis of this virus. This paper has since been withdrawn. Kind of like the evidence for Hydrochloroquine has been withdrawn.
This paper is not the only scientific communication to have noted COVID has AIDS DNA spliced in:
Coronavirus created in an attempt to find AIDS vaccine, Nobel laureate claims
Theories suggesting that the coronavirus was, in fact, man-made and did not originate in bats are not new, but a new argument, suggesting that the Chinese manufactured it in an attempt to find something else is taking the scientific world by storm. French virologist and medicine Nobel laureate Luc Montagnier sparked controversy Sunday when he claimed that the virus – officially called SARS-CoV-2 – was not only man-made but is the result of a Chinese attempt to produce a vaccine against AIDS.

I was thinking along the same lines back in March. Was the virus something that had been manipulated in the lab to find a cure for Kaposi's Sarcoma - a flank disease of HIV?
