First off, I have had a higher than usual number of cancellations the last 8 weeks due to illness. Those who are catching various upper respiratory ailments are not getting over them. They are hanging on for up to 8 weeks. I have heard more than not “I have just had one thing after another since September” or “our entire house gets over one thing and then we have another bug of some sort”.
The cardiac and turbo cancer incidences are increasing. We are now on a daily basis of at least one patient being seen by cardiology for tachycardia, chest pain, and short of breath. No known cause of course. The company that makes portable cardiac monitors must be making a killing, because everyone is having the portable monitoring for a week. Yesterday alone, I sent 3 people for labs because they looked awful.
I work with a lot of patients that do not have health insurance and lack primary care following, so oftentimes I am the stop gap for them. I saw one patient 8 weeks ago and when they walked back in today, they had a 30 pound weight loss, night sweats, fatigue, and very pale. I am concerned. Sent for labs pronto. I have said goodbye to 5 patients since Thanksgiving. Their cancer has reached hospice status now. Difficult goodbyes.
I cannot even keep track now of the sudden pancreatic cancers, breast cancers, and the sudden heart attack deaths that patients report have ravaged their families. Sadly, several of them have lost 2-3 people in a very short period of time. One has not only 3 with cancer but 3 that suddenly died this year of heart attacks. Odd cancers happening to young people, such as colon and breast cancers and salivary gland cancer. That is an interesting one because first off it is super rare, and usually in older populations with a tobacco history. These are people in their 30’s.
I stopped counting miscarriages and infertility cases. It is the norm not the exception at this point.
A good friend text me today asking what the hell is going on, they have 4 friends in the hospital with cardiac problems right now.
People are so mad and angry. I am now convinced that the changes to DNA do indeed affect your personality. Previously pleasant people have just turned nasty. I have had more angry hostile people the last 4-6 months than normal (even in psychiatry). The number of previously completely stable patients has gone down, which does not make sense.
So many people suffering. The common theme is most of them are 2x vaccinated. Several of these cases never even went for the boosters. Some did, most didn’t. Add in inflation and lack of ability to afford holiday food and gifts, it is a sad state right now. This time of the year is the hardest for mental health to begin with, and you add in the last 3 years of devastation, it is really a dark time for many people.
Pray for humanity. Pray for the one who found their fiance dead on the sofa who was only in their late 20’s. Pray for the cancers in remission that are now on hospice after sudden recurrence. Pray for those who suddenly collapsed on the bathroom floor, the kitchen floor, and left young kids behind. Pray for the ones who are widows this holiday season and do not know how to do this without their spouse. Pray for those who will not make it to Christmas. Just pray.
