White House Preparing Executive Order on Social Media Censorship
President Trump is preparing to sign an unspecified executive order dealing with the ramifications of social media censorship, reports indicated on Wednesday. White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany confirmed that the President is planning on signing the order to reporters on Air Force One.
The White House has ‘monitored’ the rampant political censorship tactics utilized by social media platforms such as Twitter, YouTube and Facebook to silence conservatives, nationalists, and others for years, but it seems President Trump might finally be willing to act in order to halt Silicon Valley’s authoritarian instincts to crush free speech.
A soft censorship tactic utilized by Twitter on some recent Trump tweets may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back. The platform has begun inserting ‘fact-checking’ editorial content on the President’s tweet, falsely claiming that some of the new mail-in voting schemes being executed by Democrats are foolproof, as the President argues otherwise.

In other words, the minute Trump leaves office, an order like this can simply be unplugged, and it's effect will go off like a light.
CDC Mortality Counts Show More Pneumonia Deaths Than Coronavirus Deaths While Media Reporting 20,000 More Deaths than CDC?!?
The media is reporting massive death counts from the Coronavirus. These counts are coming from a couple of sources, one of which is the Worldometer coronavirus website. The death counts on these sites and in the media are over reporting the number of Coronavirus deaths by more than 20,000 deaths when compared to the data at the CDC website.
The overcounts by the media are similar to the overcounts as of April 25, 2020, when the CDC also reported 20,000 fewer deaths than the media. The CDC shows 68,998 deaths as of May 16, 2020.
Note that pneumonia deaths (87,444) over the same time period are greater than coronavirus deaths by almost 20,000. Also, Coronavirus deaths are less than 8% of total deaths in the US (68,998/907,069).RTWT.

The last few months in America have made me begin to believe there really isn't much worth saving.
Someone asked me to comment on this. I don't have much to say. We are a nation with a history which includes the invasion of Normandy, and the Civil War against slavery, and now we run in fear of Coronavirus, and our police kill people for no fucking reason, and are surprised anyone is angry.
Anyone want to argue with me about the Police, I get it. Not all Police are bad. But this incident ought to have all cops standing up and speaking out.
But it won't.
I've seen it before. They won't break Omerta.
Islam is one of our lesser problems, at this point.
The only positive that will come of this is the import will obliterate "Social Distancing."

Andrew Cuomo gave immunity to nursing home execs after big campaign donations
As Governor Andrew Cuomo faced a spirited challenge in his bid to win New York’s 2018 Democratic primary, his political apparatus got a last-minute boost: a powerful healthcare industry group suddenly poured more than $1m into a Democratic committee backing his campaign.
Less than two years after that flood of cash from the Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA), Cuomo signed legislation last month quietly shielding hospital and nursing home executives from the threat of lawsuits stemming from the coronavirus outbreak.
The provision, inserted into an annual budget bill by Cuomo’s aides, created one of the nation’s most explicit immunity protections for healthcare industry officials, according to legal experts.
Critics say Cuomo removed a key deterrent against nursing home and hospital corporations cutting corners in ways that jeopardize lives.
As those critics now try to repeal the provision during this final week of Albany’s legislative session, they assert that data prove such immunity is correlating to higher nursing home death rates during the pandemic – both in New York and in other states enacting similar immunity policies.
New York has become one of the globe’s major pandemic hotspots – and the center of the state’s outbreak has been nursing homes, where more than 5,000 New Yorkers have died, according to Associated Press data.AND THEN THERE'S THIS:

Elmhurst hospital, which got all the attention early on, for being overwhelmed and having no PPE supplies, is one of those. Not surprisingly, the city hospitals are run without reserves of equipment.
Ditto the nursing homes that had the highest mortality rates. All filled with Medicaid patients.
