An excellent monologue!

I absolutely need to weigh the benefits and risks very carefully because, back in 2015, I had a terrible reaction to a vaccine (chickenpox): rashes follow by kidney trouble which required surgery. The surgery was successful, but left me with the torment of neurogenic pain syndrome, POSSIBLY caused by chickenpox pustules in my left ureter.

I was so well that I required a live-in caregiver for 11 months!

Three doctors -- primary care, neurologist, and urologist -- insist that I never again have a live vaccine. And the medical technology for COVID vaccines is new, so we don't know what the side effects might be for me. But the information isn't readily available!

At the least, I need to get the vaccine in a medical setting with epinephrine and oxygen available on site, but the powers that be want to force me to go CVS or Walgreens, both of which don't have the above mentioned medical equipment.

I don't take vaccines.

Pasto,
Let me explain why I was so keen to get a chickenpox vaccine.

My uncle died in 1949 at the age of 31 after contracting chickenpox from his 8-year-old son.

Chickenpox in an adult can be deadly -- or, worse, the killer of massive gray matter.

Yeah. I know. I actually had chickenpox when I was in my early 30's.
