Loudoun County School Board Member Submits Resignation Following Cover-Up of Sexual Assaults on Campus

From Gateway Pundit:

A Loudoun County school board member submitted her resignation on Friday following confirmed reports of sexual assaults on campus in the girl’s bathroom.
Angry parents confronted a coverup of sexual assault as a direct result of the school’s transgender policy allowing biological males into the ladies restroom. Parents attended a Loudoun County school board meeting Tuesday evening and called for the resignation of school board members.
On May 28, a male ‘transgender’ student wore a skirt when he raped a 14-year-old girl in the girl’s bathroom at Stone Bridge High School. The school district’s policy allows male students to use the girl’s bathroom and vice versa.
According to reports, the same transgender student committed a SECOND sexual assault at another Loudoun County school after he was transferred out.
Not only did the school officials cover up the incidents to ‘prevent controversy over their transgender policy,’ but they also arrested and prosecuted the girl’s father after he tried to sound the alarm at a school board meeting.
Beth Barts submitted her resignation, effective November 2 – her statement read in part: “I have remained dedicated throughout my tenure to providing the best service to the community that I could. While I look forward to a return to a simpler life of volunteer service, I will miss my office hours and the conversations I had with so many of you in our community.”
ABC 7 reported school officials also released a statement about Barts’ resignation: “I want to thank Board Member Barts for her service to the Leesburg District,” said School Board Chair Brenda L. Sheridan.
“The School Board will announce its process for filling the Leesburg seat at its October 26 meeting and anticipates filling this position at its December 14 meeting.”
Barts’ resignation comes as the rape victim’s father, Scott Smith, prepares to sue the school.

From Ace of Spades:

And remember, the incident where an LGBT activist taunted the girl's father, claiming she was lying, is one of the key "incidents" the National School Board Association used to justify demanding DOJ and FBI targeting of parents.

The "targeting" of school boards the media all reported on. National news.

But the whole reason for the incident that largely started this? They refuse absolutely to report on.

Mainstream broadcast networks failed to cover a Tuesday night report that alleged a Virginia school board covered up a rape allegation against a boy who wore a skirt in the girls' bathroom, according to a media analysis.

The Loudoun County School Board kept the rape allegations quiet as it successfully pushed to adopt a policy that allows students to choose which bathroom to use based on their preferred gender, according to the Daily Wire. The alleged rapist was reportedly transferred to another school where he was later charged with sexual battery and abduction of another student. Neither ABC, CBS, nor NBC dedicated primetime coverage to the report, according to the Media Research Center....

"How can one call itself a news organization when it blacks out coverage of a story like this, which has such broad impact on the safety of our children and education?" Brent Bozell, president of the Media Research Center, tweeted.

The father of the alleged victim, Scott Smith, was arrested in June at a school board meeting on the proposed transgender bathroom policy after the meeting was deemed an "unlawful assembly" of concerned parents. Scott Ziegler, the superintendent of the school district, denied having knowledge of any arrests regarding incidents in the bathroom and said that "the predator transgender student or person simply does not exist," according to the Daily Wire report. Smith's arrest came less than a month after the alleged rape.

The Washington Post, possibly worried that they had been caught not covering a story of obvious interest to Washington Post readers (more people reading the Post in northestern Virginia than in DC proper), now admits that there were two sexual assaults that took place in Loudoun schools -- but refuses to report that the school board tried to cover it up, or that it was a case of a "boy in a skirt" attacking a girl in a restroom.

Which is not a point made simply to denigrate trans people, but to prove what is obvious, that a woman is an extremely difficult situation when she's in an isolated area with a biological male -- which is why we had sex-segragated spaces from the beginnings of human civilization.

Not "gender" segregated. Biological sex-segregated.

But this would add nuance to a public controversy the Sexual Left wants to pretend has no nuance to it at all, so they forget to report that part.

A teen accused of sexually assaulting a fellow student at a Loudoun County high school in May is also accused in a second sexual assault less than five months later at another county high school, according to the Loudoun County commonwealths attorney.

The dual allegations sparked anger from parents who showed up at a school board meeting Tuesday night and blasted school officials for their handling of the incidents and the students enrollment in a new school after the first allegation.

Some parents who spoke at the meeting grew emotional, saying they feared for the safety of their children in Loudoun County Public Schools.

Note that they refuse to say why this particular crime has a political, policy-oriented edge to it. Just a random boy r4ping a random girl, which was allegedly "mishandled."

If you want to know the details of that, why, you must be a Racist and a Domestic Terrorist.

But would the Washington Post even be allowed to report on the perp, even if they wanted to?

YouTube, a monopoly video posting site, and a child corporation of Google, a monopoly in the two key businesses of search and ad placement, has given Steven Crowder a "hard strike" -- the last warning before a complete ban -- for daring to mention the transgender part of the story.

They're taking the position that transgenders are never to be accused of sexual crimes, ever.

Even when the transgender nature of the perp is directly relevant to a major public issue involving schoolchildren's safety.

This monopoly has decided you're simply forbidden to mention the gender expression of any perp who isn't "cis" gender.

Straight white males? You can propagandize and propagandize how these little r4pists are constantly attacking young girls.

But put a skirt on that white male who has a normal heterosexual (he would say "homosexual" or "lesbian") attraction to girls...? Then his demographic traits are officially forbidden to be spoken.

YouTube suspended Steven Crowder's channel for one week on Wednesday, claiming the conservative pundit and comedian violated the platforms rules against hate speech.

YouTube's counsel sent an email to Crowders attorney, William Richmond, informing him of the strike against Crowders account and explaining that a September 30 video uploaded to Crowders channel "targets the transgender community in an offensive manner," according to a copy of the email. YouTube has blocked Crowder from posting videos to his main and auxiliary accounts for one week. The email said in part:

We write again on YouTube's behalf regarding your client, Steven Crowder. YouTube has repeatedly instructed Mr. Crowder regarding its hate speech policy and warned him against continuing violations of that policy through content he uploaded to YouTube. YouTube specifically warned Mr. Crowder that videos he uploaded showed a pattern of recklessly targeting the LGBTQ+ community for abuse and insults. It warned that further uploading of content that targets, insults, and/or abuses the LGBTQ+ community would result in additional penalties.

...

Crowder responded on Twitter Wednesday: "A hard strike from YouTube and Woe... this is terrifying. We covered SPECIFIC, documented instances of rape. @YouTube says not allowed. All parents should take note. If you believe in the insane notion of biological sex, you will be silenced."

So our Tech Overlords have decided that schoolgirls can be freely r4ped due to dangerous and misguided policies favored completely by the Tech Overlords, and you're simply not permitted to say that one helped cause the other.

Yes, it's that simple. The cause of transgenderism will be won by Tech Monopolists by deleting/censoring any evidence that it causes harm.

AND THIS:

And when parents who actually give a shit about what's going on are stomped on by the police at school board meetings, assholes like John Curtis look the other way.

The callousness is what is so hard to stomach from the progressive elites of Loudon County, Virginia, the wealthy dormitory community of Washington, DC.

They laughed and cheered when plumber Scott Smith was crash-tackled by police and humiliated at a school board meeting on June 22 as he tried to raise the plight of his 15-year-old daughter who he says was raped and sodomized in the school bathroom by a boy in a skirt. No one expressed any concern for his daughter.

There was no compassion, either, from superintendent Scott Ziegler, who claimed bafflingly at the meeting that there had been no assault in a school restroom anywhere in Loudon County and airily dismissed parents' concerns about the risks of transgender bathrooms. Then he gave a little woke homily to show those powerless parents in the room who really was in charge.

"Time Magazine in 2016 called that a red herring . . . we've heard it several times tonight from our public speakers but the predator transgender student or person simply does not exist," he said.

Tell that to the Smith family.

The rainbow activist who allegedly threatened Smith's livelihood at that meeting told him point blank his daughter's rape three weeks earlier did not happen, as if she would know.

He raised his voice and called her a "bitch."

For that mild response to her provocation he was arrested. The video of his humiliation, his T-shirt ripped, his belly exposed, his pants pulled down, went viral globally.

No one cared about his shattered family.

The Soros-funded left-wing prosecutor, Buta Biberaj, reportedly a de-carceration, proponent tried to get Smith jailed for his disruptive behavior . . .

. . . Caught amid this Kafkaesque nightmare was a father trying to protect his daughter. Too bad. He's an inconvenient reproach to the perverted equity agenda, so he must be crushed like a bug.

AND THIS:

When the National School Board Association demanded that Merrick Garland's DOJ target parents as "domestic terrorists," they cited this father's complaints to the school board -- complaining of the r*ape and cover up -- as justification for the unprecedented federal targeting of parents.

I'm pretty sure they omitted the little part about him complaining about the school board's policies which had led to the r4pe and forcible sodomization of his daughter.

Below, this "domestic terrorist" is attacked by cops and dragged out of a school board meeting for complaining about his daughter being r*aped, thanks in no small part to Loudoun County's boys-in-bathrooms policy.

Smith related what had happened at the June 22 meeting, saying that he attended the meeting because he was concerned about the alleged assault on his daughter and what was happening at the school. As we noted, at the meeting, the school superintendent denied there had been any sexual assaults. The father was then confronted during the meeting by a leftist activist who started telling him that what he said had happened to his daughter didn't, in fact, happen. He said he was gripped from behind and didnt realize initially it was a police officer when he pulled his arm back. Thats when a scuffle started and he was arrested.

The school board and prosecutors had told him to remain silent about the r&pe, claiming he had to remain silent to get a good outcome in the prosecution.

Their actual goal seems to have just been to cover this up.

Once he found out the same "boy in a skirt" had sexually assaulted another girl, he decided to speak out.
