Trump did not take an objective position with Mamdani at White House meeting

When president Donald Trump met NYC's first Muslim mayor, Zohran Mamdani, at the White House for a special meeting, no firm stance on the latter's negative leanings was taken:

President Donald Trump offered an optimistic view of the direction of New York City after meeting with Democratic socialist Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani at the White House on Friday.

During a press conference that followed, Trump said the two found common ground in their desires to reduce the cost of living, while also cracking down on crime. He also acknowledged that Mamdani has “views that are a little out there,” adding that he’s likely to change.

“I feel very confident that he could do a very good job. I think he is gonna surprise some conservative people, actually,” Trump told reporters from the Oval Office.

Forget it, this does nothing to properly address the bad things Mamdani said during his campaign, and only excuses him for the offensive statements he made about Trump too. In fact, it dampens the impact of Trump's previous meeting with South Africa's president Cyril Ramaphosa, where the POTUS took a more objective stance regarding some of the most awful things going on the country Ramaphosa's leading, including, but not limited to, anti-white racism. Sure, Trump may have hinted he's ready to withhold funding for NYC if Mamdani follows through on anything bad, but even so, this is not the tour de force White House meeting many may have been hoping for. And that's a real shame. It won't improve the USA's situation.

Update: as noted here, Trump also failed to address Mamdani's anti-Israel rants:

After the meeting, Mamdani repeated his claims that the government of Israel is carrying out "genocide in Gaza," and said that the U.S. government is funding those actions.

"“I shared with the president in our meeting about the concern that many New Yorkers have about wanting their tax dollars to go toward the benefit of New Yorkers and their ability to afford basic dignity. There’s a desperate need not only for the following of human rights but also the following through on the promises we’ve made New Yorkers. We've spoken about the Israeli government committing genocide and I’ve spoken about our government funding it."

President Trump did not respond to those remarks during the meeting with reporters. When Mamdani was asked about the president's efforts to advance agreements in the Middle East, he replied "I appreciate all efforts toward peace. We’re tired of seeing our tax dollars fund endless wars, and I also believe that we have to follow through on the international human rights, and I know that still today those are being violated, and that continues to be work that has to be done, no matter where we’re speaking of.”

Later, Trump was asked about Mamdani's threat to detain Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he comes to New York, and he briefly answered, "We did not discuss that."

In addition, Mamdani's spokeswoman Dora Pekec, referenced his recent objections to the Nefesh B'Nefesh event held in a New York synagogue: "The Mayor-elect has discouraged the language used at last night’s protest and will continue to do so. He believes every New Yorker should be free to enter a house of worship without intimidation, and that these sacred spaces should not be used to promote activities in violation of international law."

Through his spokeswoman, Mamdani continues to take a double-standard on the issue of immigrating to Israel, and Trump's failure to discuss Mamdani's use of a forked tongue approach is hugely disappointing.

CNN Proves CNN Lied About The Size of the Crowd at the Inauguration

Libs and Lefties are STILL CLAIMING Trump and Spicer lied about the size of the Inaugural Crowd. Here's a clip from the View yesterday:

Absolutely NOT TRUE.

First, here's the photograph CNN says depicts the size of the crowd:

CNN posted a Gigapixel image of the crowd at the Inauguration.

The purpose of a Gigapixel image is so that one can zoom in and see the faces of the individuals who attended. The Gigapixel photograph is a 360 degree image of the crowd. You can grab the photo with your mouse and scroll around 360 degrees and view the entire crowd, or you can zoom in and see Trump's face as he delivers his Inaugural Address.

When you grab the image and look backwards at the crowd, you see clearly the Mall is full of people all the way to the Washington Monument.

It appears to me the photograph above is either shot from the top of the Washington Monument, or from a helicopter hovering around the Monument. The reason I make this assumption is because it does not show the Monument itself, but it appears to show most of the Mall area.

Explosion Near White House - Took Place During Security Sweep, As Obama Leaving White House

NBC says it was a small explosion:

It appears a small explosion and fire broke out at a food vendor location near the White House, while there was a lockdown and a Secret Security sweep of the area. Photos from Will Sweet show heavy smoke from one of the food locations in the 400 block of 15th Street, Northwest on Saturday morning. D.C. fire officials said the fire was extinguished and one person was evaluated on the scene, but not transported to a hospital. The White House press pool was out on the South Lawn for the departure of President Barack Obama and his family around the same time as the fire. Secret Service moved the press back into the White House and initiated a lockdown of the building. During a sweep of the area, a K-9 unit hit on a vehicle in the 1600 block of Constitution Avenue. The White House remains on lockdown while authorities check out the vehicle. It is unknown if the two events are related despite their proximity in time.

There are of course, many ways to deceive people with what you say. One of them is by what you do not say, when it is directly relevant to the question asked but only the part of the answer that assuages your concerns is given. 

Examples of this kind of deception are too easy to think of from one’s own life’s experience to bother typing out here I suspect. 

On Feb. 19 2015 at the White House a quite typical but pernicious example of this kind of lie was used by the clerics who read the one religious prayer that was given at the summit on ‘violent extremism’. 

In the video below, you can see exactly what two of the omissions were. One was the lines spoken in Arabic but not translated into English which changes the meaning quite a bit. This is the same tactic used against the Marines by the islamic Barbary Pirateswhen defeated by Jefferson’s American forces. (Article 11 guaranteeing no enmity between Christian and Islamic states was not put into the Arabic version.) 

The second lie of omission is the verse that comes right after the verse they did recite, which fundamentally transforms (wait that sounds familiar) the meaning of the verse they did read.

Obama and the Muslim Gang Sign (Shahada Finger Sign)

Is President Obama a Muslim? A lot has been written about this, but if photographs speak louder than words, then a photo taken at last August’s U.S.-African Leaders’ Summit in Washington D.C. might shed considerable light. It shows Barack Hussein Obama flashing the one-finger affirmation of Islamic faith to dozens of African delegates.

The Associated Press took this astonishing photo as the African dignitaries joined Obama, who hosted the event, in a State Department auditorium for a group photograph. It was published in an article in Britain’s Daily Mail, and it was the only use ever of the photo. 

The one-finger display is the distinctive Muslim gang sign: The index finger points straight up while the thumb wraps underneath and presses against the digital phalange of the middle finger. The remaining fingers are squeezed against the palm in order to highlight the extended forefinger. The extended finger is symbolic of the one-God concept of Muhammad and is understood by all believers to be a symbolic shahada, the Muslim affirmation of faith: There is but one God and Muhammad is his messenger.

Thus when believers stick their index finger in the air, they demonstrate they are partisans of Muhammad’s God concept. And they also affirm their belief in Muhammad’s claim he was the interface between God and man. They also demonstrate they are part of the umma, the exclusive transtribal supertribe of believers that Muhammad started 1,400 years ago. 

With his forefinger in the air, Obama affirmed his membership in this tribe.

The Daily Mail editors did not understand what they were looking at. They captioned it “finger wagging” by Obama. But the African dignitaries understood, and a range of reactions can be detected among the ones who observed the gesture: amusement, surprise, curiosity, disapproval, contempt. 

Note the reactions of Abdelilah Berkirane, the prime minister of Morroco pictured just behind Obama’s left shoulder, and Ibrahim Boubacas Keita, the president of Mali in white garb and hat. They are Muslims through and through, and they are all smiles. They knew what Obama’s upright forefinger meant.

The reaction of Togo president Faure Gnassingbe, at the top row second to the left, is less approving. Through his face you can read the mind of this Sorbonne- and George Washington University educated leader. His mind is screaming, “You gotta be kidding!”

Gnassingbe’s country is squeezed between Benin and the Ivory Coast and is not far from Nigeria and its Boko Haram plague -- perhaps a two-hour flight in a slow Cessna from Togo’s capital to the Nigerian capital, less than an hour in something faster. At the time of the Washington conference, Boko Haram’s leader Abubakar Shekau had just declared Borno State in northeastern Nigeria as the seat of his caliphate. Massacres of entire villages were taking place; only a few months earlier nearly three hundred girls were abducted from a Borno secondary school. 

Togo has seven million people, 50 percent animists, 30 percent Christian. The remainder are Muslims, part of the umma. Gnassingbe and all other non-Muslims of Togo have reason to worry about radicalization of some of these members of the transtribal supertribe of Muhammad who reside among them. And so his look of disdain. “You gotta be kidding.”

 After that, all foreigners will be "targeted by the movements of revolutionary retribution."

Remember, Obama met with Muslim Brotherhood leaders just a few days ago:

A senior member of the Muslim Brotherhood was recently hosted at the White House for a meeting with President Barack Obama, prompting an outcry from critics of the global Islamist organization. 

Anas Altikriti, a top British lobbyist for the Muslim Brotherhood whose father heads Iraq’s Muslim Brotherhood party, recently met with the president and Vice President Joe Biden as part of a delegation discussing problems in Iraq. 

Altikriti, whose work has also been tied to Hamas, can be seen smiling in photos published by the White House as he stands next to Iraqi Parliament Speaker Usama al-Nujaifi, who is pictured shaking hands with President Obama in the White House’s Roosevelt Room. The meeting was first highlighted by the blog Harry’s Place.

One must wonder if there is some level of coordination going on.

EMERGENCY ALERT (FROM THE WHITE HOUSE) "FORCE-TUNES" PEOPLE'S TV'S TO NBC AFFILIATE

This happened in multiple cities around the country, apparently.

Here's one report:

Ya’ll aint going to believe this. It really happened this morning, and the folks at AT&T admit it. Here’s what happened. I am a customer of AT&T Uverse TV, Internet, and home telephone. All my entertainment is delivered by AT&T... 

This morning, I had arisen about 8:45, turned on the bedroom TV, and was in the process of choosing the day’s wardrobe. ... 

That’s when the TV started making those Emergency Alert sounds. You know, the tones that sound like you have tuned into a fax machine. 

Along with the noise there was a red-bordered text box at the top of the screen that said something like: 

“This is an emergency alert. Your television will be force-tuned to another channel for you to receive an emergency message. This action is being taken as requested by the White House. ASTGA02 (message number)…” 

AT&T Uverse force-tuned my television from the Fox News Channel to the local NBC network affiliate channel and their morning news program. 

To make matters worse, I could not change channels or look at the channel guide. AT&T had complete control over my television set, and they were supposedly being ordered to do so by the White House. 

This had to be a really big emergency for such action, and I kept waiting for the emergency message. The message never appeared.

AT&T explains:

Augusta, GA - AT&T U-Verse customers in the CSRA are reporting an emergency message showing up on their screen that indicates a an emergency message from the White House is forthcoming. 

This is also happening to U-Verse subscribers in other parts of the country, as well. We have checked with national officials, who say no such advisory has been made by the White House for Friday. 

AT&T officials tell us they are looking into the matter. Lance Skelly a director of media relations with AT&T, released the following statement Friday morning: 

"Earlier today U-verse TV customers may have received an Emergency Alert notification. We have confirmed that there is no emergency at this time and we are investigating why this occurred. We apologize for any inconvenience. 

As soon as more information becomes available, I will share with our local media immediately" We will continue to follow this story and provide more details as they becomes available.

I'm sure it will make everyone feel real comfy to know FEMA is looking into the situation:

The Federal Emergency Management Agency issued a statement Friday afternoon confirming that a radio station program set off a false emergency alert that froze stations earlier today for AT&T U-verse customers and impacted others in several states including Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Detroit.
“This morning, there was an inappropriate playing of the national emergency alert notification tones on a syndicated radio broadcast,” FEMA spokesperson Rafael Lemaitre said in a statement. “There is not a national emergency. Today’s broadcast triggered alert notification in states where the alert has been played.”
The statement went on to stay that such alerts are designed automatically set off more emergency alerts by other television stations and radio networks. The incident is now being investigated by FEMA and the Federal Communications Commission.
“Certain alerts, like the one broadcast today, are designed to be automatically picked up and rebroadcasted by other radio and TV stations,” the FEMA official said. “FEMA and the FCC are currently working with broadcasters to determine the full scope of the situation.”
1:15 p.m. update: AT&T officials said this morning’s glitch with their services was triggered by a false message sent out by a nationally syndicated radio show, which is not affiliated with the Dallas-based telecom giant.
The incident was investigated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which discovered the incident, AT&T said. FEMA is slated to address the incident as well.
“The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s investigation indicates that a nationally syndicated radio show not affiliated with AT&T accidentally sent a message over the National Emergency Alert System,” said spokeswoman Briana Gowing. “This false message was carried across our network, as well as some others, as part of the emergency alert system. We apologize to our customers.”
No immediate word on the name of the radio program that triggered the incident.
11 a.m. update: AT&T officials say they are looking into what caused their service to lock onto an emergency alert for customers in Texas and across the country.
Officials issued an apology, and confirmed there is no emergency at this time.
“Earlier today U-verse TV customers may have received an Emergency Alert notification,” said spokeswoman Briana Gowing. “We confirmed that there is no emergency at this time and we are investigating why this occurred. We apologize for any inconvenience.”

"Fake?" "Glitch?" My foot! This is nothing but a dry run to check on the possibility of forcing all TV programming to converge into a predetermined station.

I come from a country where this was common. All radio stations suddenly interrupted their respective programs, and were connected to the "state" radio station.

For those like me coming from totalitarian regimes there is nothing new under the sun in this administration. I'm just sorry for the American people who are used to living under the law.

America voted for change, change they have.

All this, except for the Internet, has been done, and is probably been done somewhere else. All totalitarian regimes have done in the past. And I'm sure the president, having been raised in the Third World is familiar with kind of media manipulation.

Americans would only realize what's happening after the fact.

Mysterious Cell Phone Towers That Have Appeared Near Senate and White House May Have Been Work of "Foreign Entity"

Mysterious “interceptor” cellphone towers that can listen in someone’s phone call despite not being part of any phone networks have turned up near the White House and Senate. 

A company that specializes in selling secure mobile phones discovered the existence of several of the towers in and around the nation’s capitol. 

“It’s highly unlikely that federal law enforcement would be using mobile interceptors near the Senate,” ESD America CEO Les Goldsmith told the technology website Venture Beat on Thursday. 

The towers are also capable of loading spyware onto a mobile device before passing off a victim’s call to a legitimate network. 

“My suspicion is that it is a foreign entity,” he told Venture Beat. 

The reason Mr. Goldsmith doesn’t suspect U.S. agencies of placing the interceptors is that the federal government already has the capability of tapping directly into the carriers.

President Obama’s Radical Islamic Ramadan Dinner Guests

With all of the hubbub surrounding President Obama’s apparent endorsement of the Ground Zero mega mosque and community center complex at last week’s White House Ramadan dinner, none of the cable talk shows that I have watched have bothered to examine the guest list. I think that is a mistake because the guest list gives some insight into what Obama really believes.

Amongst all of the ambassadors and other dignitaries, two “community” leaders with a radical Islamic agenda stand out.


The first was Dr. Ingrid Mattson, president of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). 

ISNA was named as an unindicted co-conspirator of the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, an Islamic “charity” which was convicted in 2008 by a federal jury for giving more than $12 million to the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas.

One month after 9/11, Dr. Mattson described the extremist Wahhabism ideology that inspired the 9/11 terrorists this way:

It is the name of a reform movement that began 200 years ago to rid Islamic societies of cultural practices and rigid interpretation that had acquired over the centuries. It really was analogous to the European Protestant Reformation.

In a September 2002 interview with PBS, Mattson stated that she did not see “any difference” between Christian leaders criticizing Islam or al Qaeda on the one hand, and Osama bin Laden citing “Islamic theology to justify violence against Americans” on the other.

And apparently, President Obama is following Mattson’s advice in purging the phrase “Islamic terrorism” from his administration’s lexicon. Is it any wonder that she was on Obama’s guest list for the Ramadan dinner?

In June, McChrystal noted, he had arrived in Afghanistan and set about fulfilling his assignment. His lean face, hovering on the screen at the end of the table, was replaced by a mission statement on a PowerPoint slide: "Defeat the Taliban. Secure the Population."

"Is that really what you think your mission is?" one of the participants asked.

CHICAGO — In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation’s most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted [where have we heard that before]— has been submitted to the White House.

The effort, driven by community leaders and others, including U.S. Rep. Keith Ellison, D-Minn., was bumped up two weeks because White House officials heard about the venture, said J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association, who sifted through more than 300 names.

“It was mostly under the radar,” Williams said. “We thought it would put (the president) in a precarious position. We didn’t know how closely he wanted to appear to be working with the Muslim American community.”

"No," Sally McDonough, the first lady's spokeswoman, tells USA TODAY's David Jackson, adding: "they do not expect nor encourage it" of Western visitors.

Condoleezza Rice and Madeleine Albright didn't wear head coverings when they visited Riyadh on official business, according to the photographs in our archive.

Update at 12:45 p.m. ET: McDonough says they have a nuanced policy when it comes to women who are visiting Saudi Arabia as part of the first lady's delegation.

"According to our team, during any activities on your own time - going to the mall, going out of the hotel for dinner, etc - women need to follow Saudi law and wear an Abaya. During official meetings, it is not necessary," she writes in an e-mail to USA TODAY. "As per guidance from Embassy on the ground, as members of the official traveling party, we will not need to wear any head scarves or abayas at any point."

Apparently at some "point," First Lady Laura Bush felt the "need to wear" the abaya and even to post the photo at the White House web site. In my book, that "need" is called dhimmitude.

Our State Department is playing the dhimmi and endangering all of us. Requirements for visas have been relaxed so as to allow Wahhabist-trained imams to come into the United States.

According to the article, hundreds of these imams with radical training are already here and teaching in mosques in our major cities, including locations in New York, New Jersey, Michigan, and the Washington, D.C. area. Several of these imams are graduates of Cairo's Al Azhar University, which has ties to Al Qaeda, and of various seminaries in Pakistan. Furthermore, despite warnings from various law-enforcement officials and the National Intelligence Estimate, our State Department continues to pursue this import-the-imams agenda.
