Politicians not clapping once at a SOTU, horrible gossip about Trump that affects Melania’s feelings. Mrs. Obama humiliating Melania NOW instead of when would have been more normal, soon after Melania gave the Tiffany box to Mrs. Obama on inauguration day. It’s timing…the right timing for this ‘revelation’ was now, apparently, not when it all went down and the media was clamoring for what was in the Tiffany Box. And the ugliness goes from one Trump to another, and it’s concerted….ABC, NBC, CNN, all say the same memes, all about Eric Trump. Then a few days later, his wife. Then Donald Jr, everybody weighing in on the same things…then Tiffany Trump….then Ivanka and Jared…..odd that all channels harp on one at a time…..they GOT THE MEMO, TRUST ME! They lay off Baron only a little more because there’s kind of an unwritten rule about young presidential kids, but he’s suffered his bumps, too.

Sure, they slam Trump…(again, who the heck kept that tape from Access Hollywood from about 10 years ago and why?), they do the normal slamming of his political decisions, though much worse than I’ve seen it in my whole life other than Nixon, maybe?...

Either there’s a concerted effort or the Left is having a meltdown of desperation. I can’t tell which because I’m so fed up with the Enemedia that I avoid watching and reading too much of what the Left is advocating. Too much going on here on the home front! We’re again caught in the medical loop because Mr. AOW needs all sorts of pre-op tests for cataract surgery during the busiest quarter of the school term.

Anyway, back to your observations, Z….You could well be correct. I just asked Mr. AOW; he agrees with you, and he’s usually spot on because he watches more TV news than I do.

How the Dems behaved during the SOTU was horrible. And they and those who align with them think that the Dems are on the moral high road to save our republic. Pffffffft.

What is Trump Good for?

There's a lot of criticism about Trump on not keeping some of his politically promised agenda. And much of it may be warranted.

But if Trump is able to do three things, he will go long way of cutting the legs from under the Democratic Liberal Left's legs and castrate their agenda.

Sure, the Left has very little political power now. But they never really needed it. Outside of winning the WH and Congress every so often, the real power has been over the last several decades.  The real power lies in circumventing the Constitution and the Congress by having installed federal judges on all levels to legislate from the bench, having the Supreme Court support many of the Left's agenda, use the educational system to indoctrinate our children - and giving support and comfort to our enemies while abandoning our friends.

If Trump can change these three things he will have done what he was elected for.

And he's on his way.

He chose a conservative Justice as a replacement and announced today that he will fill many of the judiciary vacancies with conservatives judges. He has reaffirmed our support for our friends and made it clear he will take the fight to our enemies. If has made it known that there will be a shakeup in the Department of Education to start bringing the educational system into line.

How far he succeeds on these three will be his legacy as President. This will cripple the Left's real power in generations to come.

Damn It! Trump!

You are in the political fight of your life. The purpose of the attacks on your Administration is to stop you from doing what you promised, in the least - and the taking down of your Administration and YOU at the worst.

WAKE UP! Fight Back!

To paraphrase Peter Finch in Network - "I don't expect your people to be capable of the truth, but god-dammit, at least your Administration is capable of self-preservation.

This is not politics of the loyal opposition.This is WAR - an attempt at sedition - Mr. President and you owe it to yourself - and us to see it that way and do something about it.

The only answer to this despicable attempt at sedition is to answer No No NO! Pound sand before we respond to any of it.

And if the RINOs in Congress don't back you, threaten to primary their asses in 2020.

You'll get no help from the Democrats, the media and the RINOS. You have to go straight to the people who elected you.

Rust…Never…Sleeps

With the election of Donald Trump, the Republic has been saved……..for now.

I’ll get to that comment in a moment. First I want to tell you a little story.

A couple of three decades ago, I had a friend of mine who was a NASA engineer. I visited him at his office at NASA Ames in California. Behind his desk, like most engineers, was blackboard filled with numbers and equations.  Tacked to the wall of the top corner of the blackboard was a note that read “DO NOT ERASE” and pointed to a pristine space on the blackboard that read:

RUST NEVER SLEEPS!

My NASA engineer knew that constant vigilance was necessary in his business. The corrosive effects of rust will always – ALWAYS -- be lurking beneath the surface.

And the corrosive effects of two decades of RINOism and Progressivism has corroded the very foundation of our society and culture.

And now, with Trump, we have a chance to reverse that process and repair SOME of the damage done to our country.

BUT…….

If you think these calls for unity are true  --  you are living in La La Land.

As Rush said on his show yesterday, these calls for unity are a TRAP.

Folks, there is no desire for unity by the people on the left.  It's a trap, it's a sucker play, and what makes me nervous is that we have Republicans who want to fall into that trap.  I don't know about Trump yet.  Way too soon for that….. They do not want unity.  The protests, the college snowflakes melting before our eyes? They do not want unity.  It is a sucker trap.  

It's a sucker play designed to get us to essentially act like we didn't win.  We've seen it before.  We've seen the movie!  Remember when we won the Senate and then said, "You know, it's not fair! It's not fair we should have majority," and so we gave them essentially an extra vote so the Senate would be 50-50, trying to show the American people how open-minded and fair we can be.  I made this prediction numerous times. 

And, by the way, it sounds really wonderful to say in the afterglow of an election, to talk about putting aside our differences and unifying. It sounds wonderful, and maybe that's what Americans want to hear.  I'm hoping it's just what people think they have to say right now on our side.  Look, there's a headline in The Politico today: "Obamacare Defenders Vow 'Total War.'"  They're not gonna lay down, folks.  They're not gonna unify. 

RUST NEVER SLEEPS.

This is not the time for unity with those that are bent on destroying this country. Whether they be Progressive socialists or Islamic Fundamentalists. This is the time to place the BOOT on the NECK of the Progressives and Islamists and the running dogs that travel with them – the RINOs and the #Trumps – and never let them up to corrupt our country again.

Rush is right. We’ve seen this game before. In 2010 and 2014. The unity plead is a trap made to lure Republicans back into being little polite Lord Fauntleroys who want to play nice-nice with the virulent opposition.

Folks. The opposition will not quit. NEVER! They said so. And If Trump gives them any quarter – ANY QUARTER AT ALL! – we will allow the RUST lying beneath to re-emerge and gain power. Do you really think the riots and protests will subside when we all call for unity? Bullshit! These are organized riots – that’s what they are called, not protests –bought and paid for by Soros and his ilk and will never end no matter what olive branches s we extend. They are fascists and they know it.

The Left in the form of Progressivism, as Denise Prager has said, has ‘NO moral compass’. Right or wrong has no meaning to the Left. Logic has no meaning. Only ‘feeling good’ about a solution to a problem counts and damn the consequences. And if you disagree with them you…are…the…enemy and are called every name in the book that they themselves represent. And they have made that very, very clear.

So what do we owe them? NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. We must marginalize them and keep them at arm’s length and forever from the levers of power. Or as my father used to say, “Don’t argue with fools and drunkards”.

I’ll go one step further. The Progressive Left and their cohorts – the Muslim Fundamentalists – are not only mentally ill – just look around the absolute stupidity of their actions – but EVIL and we must keep our boot on their neck as we reconstruct what made this country great and become that “Shining City of the Hill” Ronald Reagan so accurately spoke about.

The Republic has been saved --- for now.

FEC commissioner warns Dems are gunning for conservative media

A key Federal Election Commission Republican warned Wednesday that liberals are moving aggressively to "amend the First Amendment" so that conservatives are silenced and businesses are chased "out of the democracy."

In some the toughest criticism leveled at Democrats, Commissioner Lee E. Goodman said that the attack started once the Tea Party changed American politics in the 2010 election and now dominates the politics of the Left.

"It has triggered a very aggressive movement by people to amend the First Amendment, left intellectuals have placed it on the table," Goodman said on Boston's Howie Carr show."The general tenor of the Left in American politics today has certainly spoken out against First Amendment rights. It has been a reversal over the last 50 years," he added, citing FDR Democrats who defended socialists and communists.

From trying to reverse the Citizens United decision to using the IRS to kill Tea Party groups, Goodman said that the Democrats have moved to change free speech in the country."I have been concerned about bias both in how complaints are brought to the commission just like in the way, the lobbying campaign for Lois Lerner. It was all one sided. But generally I try to make my First Amendment case by pointing out that we have to impact liberal and conservative speech in the same way. But I have been concerned from time to time about every time a conservative group comes up, somehow, some way, exceptions and distinctions are made and this is the problem giving government the power to regulate speech in the first instance because ultimately human beings have to make that decision," he told Carr.

"It's now the left attacking conservative speakers, like free market speech because they are concerned that the big corporations might convince somebody, they might speak about free market economics," he said, adding that liberals want to "chase them out of the democracy."

Democrats on the FEC have led the attacks, publicly calling for reversal of Citizens United and even for regulating conservative news sites like the Drudge Report.
