Won't you feel sorry for the poor Muslims?

Muslim Girl:
A layered 15 years marked by a roller coaster that speeds from attack, public outrage, media sensitization, hijabi hate-crime incident, opportunistic politicians coming out of the woodwork, more hate crimes — followed by a little calm and a glimpse of hope.
But then before you know it, it happens all over again. And every time a tragedy hits labeled “terrorism,” you find yourself transported once again into the 15-year-old you sitting in English class watching the Twin Towers fall, selfishly thinking, “please don’t be Muslims.”
More:
As Muslims that are and/or have become part of the Western landscape, whether by ancestry, choice, circumstance or force, we have come to be intimately familiar with carrying the weight of more than a billion people on our shoulders.
In those 15 years, we've had the annihilation of 3,000 lives in NYC, the bombings in London, the murders of children in Beslan, the multiple assaults in France which resulted in hundreds of deaths and so many more to list. But all that death and carnage pales in comparison to the amputated feelings of Muslims in the West.
The manner in which the popular narrative of “Muslim” is constructed and juxtaposed to “terrorism” is such that it pushes us into spaces where we are made to immediately and intensely feel our Muslim-ness as the ultimate “incomprehensible Other.”
That should be the "reprehensible Other".
Living in a narrowly constructed caricature of the “scary unintelligible subject” is not simply an issue of living in constant conversation with an ill-informed stereotype. That, of course, is a major issue — but what’s more fundamentally at issue is our ability to simply feel, to simply be.
Profound.
We need to prioritize our communities; prioritize our young people; prioritize our visible Muslimah out there facing a vicious brand of gendered Islamophobia; prioritize our over-securitized brothers who are going to need to stay resilient and collected in the regular routine of ‘random’ security checks that have become their life; prioritize our community workers and activists who put themselves out there fighting the good fight everyday; prioritize our little ones that are going to hear remarks made in school about their identity and history that they are not going to know what to do with; prioritize our poor and highly racialized parts of our community that do not have the luxury of taking the day off, or resources to deal with the layered battles of classism, racism and Islamophobia.
So brave. 15 years of increasing Islamic assaults on the West and not one word against the evil core of his religion. Not one word against his demented coreligionists who keep slaughtering innocents every damn day. It's all about BadFeelz and the super bad, classist, racist, Islamophobic West. That, ladies and gentlemen, is a pukka moderate Muslim.

Report: Crooked Hillary’s Mysterious Cleanup Man Is Linked to Egypt, Arab Spring

Report: Crooked Hillary’s Mysterious Cleanup Man Is Linked to Egypt, Arab Spring

The identity of the ‘cleanup man’ has been reported as being lawyer Brady Williamson. He has been involved with the Clinton’s for a long time. The fact that the Clinton’s used him, a lawyer, to pick up her papers after the debate leads to many questions. For example, why not have an intern pick the papers up and why the hurry (he was timed in picking up the papers 10 seconds after the debate finished).
Also, it’s reported that Williamson was involved in projects in Iraq, Southern Sudan, Egypt and Bangladesh, traveling frequently to Baghdad and East Africa to work with the committees drafting new national and regional constitutions. His constitutional work has been sponsored, under a grant from the U.S. government, by the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI), a nonprofit organization working to strengthen democracy world-wide.
It’s also reported that the NDI was given a grant of $14 million and then court proceedings against NDI’s staff began in Cairo on February 2012,. NDI was charged with managing an unlicensed nongovernmental organization and receiving funds from the U.S. government without the approval of the Egyptian government.

Yesterday's Train Crash In New Jersey An Act of Terrorism?

Tommy Gallagher - Train Engineer, Cooperating, Released

There are three pieces of odd news that might lead us to believe yesterday's train crash was, indeed, an act of terrorism.

First, Governor Cuomo openly mused about the possibility:

NY Governor Raises Possibility NJ Train Crash at Hoboken Terminal Was Work Of ‘Our Enemies’
Speaking to reporters at a Thursday press conference, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo raised the possibility that Thursday’s horrific train crash in Hoboken, New Jersey was somehow the work of “enemies” of the United States of America.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say that these are difficult times over these past weeks and months between terrorist attacks and natural disasters,” Cuomo told the gathered crowd of reporters.
“We have had our hands full in this country. We have had our hands full in the Northeast.” “I want to thank the linden police who did an extraordinary job in apprehending Rahami in connection with the Chelsea bombing, and they did a fantastic job,” he continued.
“I want to thank the coordination and the cooperation of our neighbors and partners in making that happen.”
“Today is another situation for us to deal with, but, I also believe as many challenges as Mother Nature sends us, or our enemies send us, we are up to handling them,” he noted. “We’ll handle them one at a time, but when we work together, there is nothing that we can’t accomplish and nothing that we cannot over come.”
Second, there was a very odd warning the day before the Train Crash, which appeared in the form of an apparent hack of a Television News Scroll at the bottom of the TV screen:

Warning For The United States: "Would You? Could You? On a Train? Wait for Further Instructions"

And finally,

Tommy Gallagher, the Train Engineer, was released from Hospital custody, said to be fully cooperating
Tommy Gallagher, of Morris Plains, New Jersey, was hospitalized in critical condition after the crash, WABC-TV reports. A passenger said he was “completely bloodied,” when he was taken out of the train, according to the New York Daily News. But he had been released from the hospital by Thursday night, ABC reporter Josh Margolin reports. He is cooperating with authorities as they investigate what caused the train to crash into the station. He has not yet commented publicly about what happened. The NTSB said they have not yet interviewed him.
I think this means officials KNOW it is not his fault.

The fact that the train was traveling at a rate of only 30 MPH when it entered the station would indicate he meant no harm. The fact that the brakes didn't work at all, means either,

1) the brakes broke down suddenly for no reason at all, or

2) the brakes were tampered with.

Shaykh Mustafa Umar, Founder of California Islamic University, Advocates For Polygamy To Be Practiced In Western Nations

In an episode of "The Deen Show" posted on YouTube on September 11, Sheikh Mustafa Umar, founder and director of California Islamic University, promoted polygyny as "an avenue for many women to get married" instead of remaining single for the rest of their lives, citing as an example women who spend years studying medicine.

‘We either protect Europe or we LOSE it’ Hungary PM would deport all illegal migrants

Sunday’s vote is essentially to decide whether Hungary’s borders are controlled by the national parliament or by the EU.
The openly anti-migrant Viktor Orban believes that a vote to retain control at national level may have a domino effect within the EU and for that reason politicians of Brussels are already attacking it.
Mr Orban said: "By a successful referendum we can possibly succeed in fights with those who want to weaken Europe by uncontrolled migration.
"We should deport all of those who entered Europe unlawfully. We either protect our home, Europe, or we are going to lose it completely."
The Hungarian leader claims the EU’s open-door migrant policy is triggering deeper problems for Europe and even the refugees.
Mr Orban thinks the solution lies in stopping migrants from leaving their homes completely.
He said: "Accepting the influx of migrants in Europe is like going to war with our hands thrown up in the air.
"We believe that we should protect our borders and we should avoid hundreds of thousands of people from entering Europe.
"Furthermore, we should effectively stop them from leaving their own countries.

Islamism Is As Old As Islamic History Itself

A devastatingly eloquent and concise assessment of Islam, Islamism, and ISIS, from German Television.

Hamed Abdel Samad is an Egyptian-German writer and an apostate from Islam.

He lives under a death Fatwa for his acerbic writings about his former religion.

Comment on the video:

The woman in the video is lying and she knows she is lying. The Qur'an CANNOT be adjudicated without the use of the Ahadith. The Ahadith bring greater texture to the ideology. One CANNOT be separated from the other.

Qur'an and Sunnah TOGETHER define Islamic jurisprudence.

This word: Unbelievers - is beginning to bother me. It is a negative against other faiths. I believe we should begin referring to Muslims as the "unbelievers". They are the ones who retain unbelief.

I am a Believer, not an unbeliever. Let the negativity fall on them. The very use of the term comes from the Arabic word kafr - which also means concealment.

They - continue to conceal the ideological tenets of their faith. Not me. Nope. Jesus Christ, Lamb of God. No concealment on my part, because there remains nothing to conceal.
-------
..."war is deceit" (Hadith 4:269) and Islam specifically provides the coinage of jihad economies :

tools better known as taqiyya, tawriya, kitman and muruna

And to assist with the Islamic doctrinal tools of deception, there is the concept of abrogation, also known as dualism.
"Our first clue about the dualism is in the Koran, which is actually two books, the Koran of Mecca (early) and the Koran of Medina (later). The insight into the logic of the Koran comes from the large numbers of contradictions in it. On the surface, Islam resolves these contradictions by resorting to “abrogation”. This means that the verse written later supersedes the earlier verse. But in fact, since the Koran is considered by Muslims to be the perfect word of Allah, both verses are sacred and true. The later verse is “better,” but the earlier verse cannot be wrong since Allah is perfect. This is the foundation of dualism. Both verses are “right.” Both sides of the contradiction are true in dualistic logic.
The circumstances govern which verse is used

Something's Going On With "Emergency Alerts"?

BeforeItsNews: Whoa! Scary Test to Happen Tomorrow 9/28/16! EAS Emergency Alert System Will Include an Announcement From the President to Individual Citizens! (Video)
and
BeforeItsNews: FEMA’s IPAWS to Hold National Test of Emergency Alert System Today
FEMA’s IPAWS will hold a national test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) on Wednesday, September 28th, 2016 at 2:20pm EDT. The National Periodic Test (NPT) code, which is used to distribute the national test, is similar to the Regular Monthly test (RMT) code that generates a brief EAS message on radio, TV, and cable indicating a test of the EAS is in progress.
The NPT test code will be sent from FEMA’s alerting infrastructure, known as IPAWS, and relayed through all aspects of the EAS. The test message will be the same as a typical monthly EAS test message, with one exception: the word “National” will be added to the test message.
The goal of the mandatory test is to assess the operational readiness and effectiveness of the IPAWS infrastructure for distribution of a national-level message to the public. A second goal is to implement a standard method for regular alert and warning tests which help to improve the national preparedness posture.
The test is expected to have limited impact on the public with only minor disruptions of radio and television programs. Only the EAS will be tested in this nationwide test. Cell phone and other FEMA alerting capabilities will not be tested during this event.

AND THEN THERE'S THIS:

This comment was posted at FreeRepublic:
This is video of a civil alert yesterday from a WKTV Channel 2 Utica, NY.

They later posted on their twitter feed to ignore the alert.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uWX_3era2g

Red banner at top of video segment reads:
"Civil authorities have issued a Hazardous Materials Warning for The United States. Effective until September 29, 02:16 AM EDT. Would you. Could you. On a Train? Wait for further instructions>"

WKTV NewsChannel 2 Facebook post:
"IMPORTANT NOTE - If you were watching our newscast around 6:17 p.m. you may have seen a "Hazardous Materials Warning" crawl across your screen. There is NO such warning. The message was an automated test which was not intended for public display. Again, there is NO warning. Our apologies for the confusion this may have caused."

After Chelsea Bombing, NYC Launches Efforts To Silence ‘Negative Rhetoric’ About Islam

After Chelsea Bombing, NYC Launches Efforts To Silence ‘Negative Rhetoric’ About Islam

Less than two weeks after the terrorist bombings in New Jersey and New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration is launching a new campaign against the “negative rhetoric targeting Muslim communities” that the city says gets worse after “terrorist incidents.”
A press release from the city on Monday explained the reasoning for the new anti-anti-Islam efforts: “Across the country, hateful speech has made Muslim residents the target of misguided attacks and threats, especially in the aftermath of terrorist incidents,” states a press release from the city.
The city is targeting Muslims for community outreach efforts, “including issuing a new multilingual fact sheet explaining protections against religious discrimination with a focus on Muslim communities and a new multilingual brochure on religious protections under NYC Human Rights Law with practical examples to identify discrimination in the workplace, housing, and public accommodations.”
On Monday, the city launched a new digital ad campaign that features pictures of Muslims with captions that read, “I am Muslim. I am NYC.” The ads continue in smaller print: “New Yorkers of all faiths deserve to live safely and free from discrimination. In NYC, it’s illegal to discriminate against or harass someone based on their religion or creed. #IAmMuslimNYC”

4 states sue US government to stop internet giveaway

The effort in Congress to stop the ICANN transfer may not have succeeded, but 4 states starting with Texas are now joining the battle for keeping the internet free and safe, and have filed a lawsuit:
Three conservative states are suing the Obama administration in an attempt to block the U.S. government from ceding oversight of some of the internet’s core systems.

The attorneys general of Texas, Oklahoma and Arizona on Thursday asked a federal court in Galveston, Texas, to keep the Commerce Department from relinquishing oversight of ICANN, or the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers.

The internet relies on the “domain name” system. That includes directories helping computers on the network send data. ICANN has overseen the directories since 1998.

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and others opposed the transition, which was approved by Congress in a temporary spending bill keeping the government running. The lawsuit says ceding control of ICANN violates the Property Clause of U.S. Constitution, which restricts giving away government property.
I wish Texas and the others good luck with this suit, and it's good they're concerned, because local security is just as important as national, and they have every right to be concerned on those grounds too.
The Federalist Papers:

BREAKING: US Suspends Diplomacy With Russia; Prepares “Military Options

The United States is preparing to “end diplomatic engagement” with Russia and preparing military options over the continued bombing of Aleppo by Russian forces.
Reuters is reporting that the U.S. is expected to tell Russia Thursday that they have officially ended their diplomatic engagement with Syria. U.S. officials have said they’re looking at “tougher” responses to the Russian-backed Syrian government, including “military options.”
The discussions were being held at “staff level,” Reuters reports, and have yet to produce anything concrete to present to President Obama, who has been reluctant to order military action in Syria. But now that diplomacy seems to have ended, it gives the “green light” for Obama to send US trips into Syria. If that happens, ZeroHedge reports, Vladimir Putin is likely to do the same thing, leading to the biggest military escalation in the proxy war in Syria since the war began almost six years ago.
Even administration advocates of a more muscular U.S. response said on Wednesday that it was not clear what, if anything, the president would do, and that his options “begin at tougher talk,” as one official put it.
One official said that before any action could be taken, Washington would first have “follow through on Kerry’s threat and break off talks with the Russians” on Syria.
But the heavy use of Russian airpower in Syria has compounded U.S. distrust of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s geopolitical intentions, not only in the 5-1/2 year civil war, but also in the Ukraine conflict and in what U.S. officials say are Russian-backed cyber attacks on U.S. political targets.
The U.S. officials said the failure of diplomacy in Syria has left the Obama administration no choice but to consider alternatives, most of which involve some use of force and have been examined before but held in abeyance.
Other options to military troops include allowing America’s Gulf allies to supply the rebels with more sophisticated weaponry and, a U.S.-led airstrike on an Assad-controlled air base, which would cause fewer Russian casualties.
With only four months left in office, Obama is loath to commit to any large-scale commitment of U.S. Troops.Critics of Obama’s policy in Syria argue that he set a goal – Assad’s departure – without providing sufficient means to achieve it by arming the rebels earlier and more extensively, allowing U.S. allies to do so or using U.S. military might to tip the scales in the conflict.
Further, foreign policy experts inside and outside the administration have said Obama erred when he pulled back from launching air strikes on Syria to enforce a “red line” he set against the Assad government’s use of chemical weapons. The result, they argued, was to diminish U.S. credibility in Moscow, Damascus and elsewhere because the perception took hold that Obama would not keep his word and follow through on his threat.
