Report: Al Qaida network planning UK plot of 'Hiroshima' caliber
A British intelligence report stated that recent planned terrorist attacks in Britain, including the July 2005 suicide attacks in London, were linked to “core Al Qaida leaders.”
“Networks linked to AQ Core pose the greatest threat to the UK," stated the report by the Joint Terrorism Analysis Center at Britain’s MI-5 headquarters and obtained by the Daily Telegraph.
The report said there is a potential threat from Al Qaida in Iraq. “A member of this network is reportedly involved in an operation which he believes requires AQ Core authorization,” the report said.
“He claims the operation will be on 'a par with Hiroshima and Nagasaki' and will 'shake the Roman throne'.
“We assess that this operation is most likely to be a large-scale, mass casualty attack against the West," stated the report, noting that Al Qaida networks are active in Britain.

Experts keep warning of some kind of nuclear attack on the part of AQ. Most people, however, choose not to think about such a possibility.
I just purchased Day of Islam by Paul Williams. I haven't yet started reading it, but I know that I must.
One of the problems the MI5 faces is the shortage of officers to thoroughly monitor all the suspects. There needs to be a greater emphasis on infiltrating the Muslim communities…by this I mean that all Imam (and believe me these guys know a lot more than they let on) preaching in Britain have to be screened and selected by the intelligence community. One thing can be guaranteed, the foot soldiers will definitely be British passport holders.
Many of the Muslim communities are out of control. I’m no intelligence analyst, but almost every day I come across young people whose loyalties lie with Islam and think ‘there’s another one!’
We also have a problem of Mosques springing up…there’s just too many of them…this also needs to be regulated. Unfortunately this is the future and it’s only going to get worse…Pfffff.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Now I will explain my earlier points:
Most Muslims youths I have come across have their loyalty firmly established with Islam. Ok, some are sincerely ignorant of the real Islam…I know a Muslim girl of Indian origin who because she hasn’t the vaguest idea of Islam and its teachings, considers herself Muslim and yet has fully embraced the her adopted Western culture. The unifying factor between extremists and moderates is their adoration of Muhammad. All that an extremist has to do is convince the ‘moderate’ or ignorant Muslim that they are following the teachings of Muhammad. Both parties are in total agreement that Muhammad is infallible, that his is a perfect example. The enemy as an entity that’s “out there” is misleading…whatever enemy threatens Britain reside in those suburbs.
In Britain, thanks to ‘multiculturalism’, there are numerous communities where an outsider could easily mistake for a Yemeni town; these neighbourhoods are prominent in cities such as Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester and London. These communities completely self-regulate themselves…Their state schools have mainly Muslim teachers…After school the kids are off to Madrasas…How are these children supposed to empathise with non-Muslim if the closest they get to interacting with them is through their TV sets? One “clever” initiative the government devised to deal with this divide was to introduce a literacy test to ensure that the foreign Imams have a basic grasp of English…Great! Now the Mullahs can brainwash anyone who may have slipped through net due to language barrier!

It is because all Muslims share that adoration of Mohammed that a young Muslima like the Indian girl you know will probably be pulled back into a more strict observance when it is time for marriage.

It is rare for born Muslims to leave Islam. They’re conditioned from a young age that leaving Islam is the greatest betrayal…the ultimate treason. Cleverly, Muhammad makes it the family’s duty to either put right or completely disown the apostate. In the presence of an Islamic state they’re put to death as a deterrent. In the developing world, where the majority of Muslims reside, for socio-economic reasons, it is impossible to survive outside the family and wider community unit. In Europe and America, however, this obstacle can be overcome and it is possible for anyone to be a free thinker through adequate education. The threat from the family can be overcome …one can be self-sufficient monetarily, find a place to live, form a network of friends for support etc.
But going back to my Muslima friend’s case, moderate Muslims might outwardly appear like us…in the clothes they wear, some might even drink alcohol and have premarital sex…but they all view Islam to be perfect. By Islam I mean the Quran and Sunnah. Many think they’re too weak and that they’re overcome by temptation and one day aspire to better or “practicing” Muslims.
I think our saving grace is that the Muslim masses are ignorant of Muhammad’s history and teachings. They hold him in great esteem, know a few great things he has done and don’t go too deeply into it. They rely almost entirely on their Imam or Sheikh to interpret the Quran’s commandments for them.
What makes this group valuable to us is also the source of their greatest threat, the wrong teacher or interpreter can easily mobilise them against us. Thus the long-term solution is a reinterpretation of Islam. We have to somehow re-interpret the Quran and Sunnah and make it relevant to the 21st century.
If what you're saying is true (that all Muslims hold Mohammed up with such veneration and believe that he is perfect) then the net effect of what we do here at IBA is to piss off all Muslims, even those who have the possibility for change.
It is my goal to get the word out about Islamism. I think this is done through sharing stories of what the Islamofascists do to each other and what they do to non-Muslims. I also think things like the Rushdie Knighthood, the Pope controversy, and the Mohammed Cartoon Crisis, provide moments of clarity for Western civilization.
In that way, I think it is actually important to insult the sensitivities of Muslims.
I would hope that more moderate Muslims would see the childish behavior of the extremists among them, and thus be moved to either leave Islam, or to push for some sort of reformation of Islam.

It is your right to insult or criticise. Most Muslims are not used to criticism and take things too personally. Any idea if it’s worth its weight should be able to take criticism on board.
I think we should all do we what we can to make a better world. Personally, I don’t like insulting people for the sake of it, I much prefer a constructive dialog…but that’s my nature and what I personally feel comfortable with.
My goal is to work towards the reformation of Islam…I think this is the only way of bringing about a lasting paradigm shift.
