Lebanon blast kills UN (Spanish) soldiers (UPDATED)

 Four Five Six United Nations peacekeepers have been killed and several others wounded by an explosion in southern Lebanon, security officials say. The blast badly damaged two vehicles transporting Spanish peacekeepers from the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (Unifil) near the border with Israel.

UDPATE: Last news are, that they were killed by a car bomb activated by remote control, and that it is possible there were suicide bombers inside. The Minister of Defense has confirmed it was a "premeditated attack on the troops".

Three of the dead are Colombians, 2 3 Spanish. There are also 3 3 Spanish badly hurt.

So, Hizbullah wants to shove UNIFIL out of the way for a second round with Israel. Israel should oblige with a scorched earth policy and raze all Hizbullah areas to the ground.
