SUNDAY TIMES: BORIS JOHNSON GIVING UP ON VACCINE PASSPORT

I've been seeing nothing but bad news for so long that I find it impossible to believe good news anymore.

Alex Berenson writes:

Again, this is not because Britain - where 80% of people over 16 are fully vaccinated - has controlled Covid. The opposite, in fact.
Other data show that only about 25% of deaths in Britain are among the unvaccinated - and that vaccinated people over 40 are actually MORE likely to get Covid than the unvaccinated. The truth always wins.
Now that one big country has made a long overdue concession to reality, will the rest follow?
Not if Uncle Joe can help it…

UK to Repeal Emergency Powers Allowing Government to Shut Down Country

Emergency CCP virus powers allowing the UK government to shut down swathes of England’s economy are set to be repealed, the government said on Sept. 12.

The announcement comes as the controversial plan to introduce domestic vaccine passports in England was dropped on the same day.

In a statement published on Sept. 12, the government said Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to repeal in the near future some of the emergency powers enacted in England by the Coronavirus Act 2020.

The powers that are “no longer necessary” include powers to close down sectors of the economy, apply restrictions on events and gatherings, disrupt education and child care, extend time limits for urgent warrants, or detain infectious people.

AND THEN THERE'S THIS:

New York hospital to 'pause' delivering babies after staffers quit rather than get vaccinated
An upstate New York hospital system said it will be forced to "pause" maternity services this month because some employees' refusal to get vaccinated against Covid-19 has caused staffing shortages.
Lewis County Health System is experiencing mass resignations because of its vaccination mandate, putting some services at risk, CEO Gerald R. Cayer said Friday.
The maternity unit already has staff shortages, with at least six resignations so far, while seven other staff members have expressed unwillingness to be vaccinated.
"We are unable to safely staff the service after Sept. 24," Cayer said. "The number of resignations received leaves us no choice but to pause delivering babies at Lewis County General Hospital."

A tale of two relatives:

I have a sibling who received the vaccine a month ago. She now has COVID and cannot fly back to her home in Europe.

A niece who has not received the vaccine and has COVID.

Both - are doing just fine. The niece, was tested because she lost her sense of smell.

The failure rate for the vaccine are reflected in the vaccinated population who still become infected. Amazing, how the "science" is playing out.
