the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances
(I originally intended this as a comment to the Tucker Carlson/Taylor Hansen post below)
So much of what is reported about that day has been exaggeration or outright fabrication
Which of course is what we have come to expect
From the beginning I was never on the government's side about that day, not even on that day when everyone was so "shocked" and "outraged" about how "terrible" it was
It was, after all, that same spirit that drove the foundation of this country, but by different, more peaceful means
By means PROTECTED by our own 1st amendment
They were peaceably assembling
They were, in effect, petitioning the government for a redress of grievances too long ignored
Trump never called for violence
But Mme. Speaker and her cohorts on both sides saw it coming
And set them up
THEY WEAPONIZED THE PEOPLE'S OWN RIGHTS AGAINST THEM
THEY planted agitators among the demonstrators
THEY initially opened the doors
THEY escorted them through the building
THEY were the ones throwing smoke and flash bangs
THEY had the shields
and badges
thus sanctifying what THEY did
THEY were the only ones with guns inside the Capitol and
THEY were the only ones that turned those guns, paid for by Americans
ON AMERICANS
And killed - MURDERED - an unarmed demonstrator
Having the day off Friday I watched the memorial shit show and it infuriated me
SHE was never mentioned
Those who were were not murdered
Did not die by violence like SHE did
But THEY are martyrs
And SHE a criminal
because SHE was exercising her Constitutionally Protected rights
As far as I'm concerned that day was March 5, 1770
And SHE is Crispis Attucks.
UPDATE: adding insult to grievous injury HER mother was arrested yesterday at the remembrance at the Capitol
THEY couldn't say HER name, but THEY could arrest HER peaceably assembling mother

Great post, MR.
I added some images. Please take them down if you think they are inappropriate.
It's sickening and infuriating, huh?
You have the right to chuck your [“any”] government “whenever” you deem nevessary. It’s your 4th Enumerated Right found in the flesh-language of Paragraph 2 of The Declaration of Independence.
It’s the ONLY Enumerated Right to be repeated 2x (and implied a 3rd x in the Opening Paragraph. It’s also the only Enumerated Right to have an assigned “duty” to exercise such right.
If you HAD marched on D.C. to iverthrow the gov’t you would merely be ecercising a duty all bona fide U.S. Citizens are bound to under The Declaration of Independence, which, by the way, also means that your government [again “any” government] cannot, legally ir logically, regulate the means, OR THE PERMISSION TO OBTAIN THE MEANS, to do so.
Thereby, the 2nd Amedment demands >\= PARITY of Arms with our government, and it’s not our fault what that parity might entail.
