All of us, every single man, woman, and child on the face of the Earth were born with the same unalienable rights; to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And, if the governments of the world can't get that through their thick skulls, then, regime change will be necessary.
Actually I disagree. Rush tried to make this point in his ill considered attempt to "dialog" with the Breakfast Club.
As a white man I know that my skin color has been an advantage throughout my lifetime. White Privilege is not a myth.
But far more importantly it is a cop out and an excuse. A minor disadvantage in the modern age which can be pushed aside and overcome. I can think of many more debilitating disadvantages that befall people of any color.
Yep. I agree. But maybe not the extent that you think it is true.
I think it WAS true.
I have two multiracial kids who look white, and have an European last name.
No one is trying to help them get into a good college, despite the fact that they both had great grades at a top high school.
I think it is easier for a person of color to get into top colleges than it is for a white person.
I think it will be harder any white person born after 1990 to get ahead than it was for our generation.
